Not great. Help is hard to find. When we went and asked for help all THREE TIMES WE WHERE JUST LEFT WAITING! I am remodeling my mothers whole house from the roof to the basement. Spent A LOT of money so far but I may start going elsewhere.

I was treated kindly by Linda in appliances. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products for which I was looking.

No one is knowledgeable about products. I don’t understand who does the hiring here and what goes through their mind.. I understand equally opportunity but employees need to have some basic knowledge of what they are selling. Is training not happening? I’m confused. Terrible service. Every.. single.. time..

I like The Home Depot alot, but the time I was there it appeared to be a bit short staffed. The staff in the customer service section were literally running but they were so kind and helpful once it was my turn. Overall nice exercise here. Has what I need for my house

I have had nothing but poor service here. Yesterday I went in to ask about a refund since I purchased ship lap and some of it was damaged. Barb at the service desk didnt know what it was and told me I still had to bring it back. I informed her I had to rent a vehicle to get it to my house and I had photos of the broken planks. She told me she couldnt do anything else. It was about $30 worth of materials and not worth getting another rental. Overall not a great experience I then went looking for help and stopped a employee and asked him where I could find wood filler, he didnt even say anything just pulled out his phone looked it up and said aisle 5. You are better off asking the Ryobi reps for help.

Very helpful. I asked for help and they sent someone over ASAP!!! and if you or anyone you know that serverd in the military if you bring them with you and show your Army, Navy, etc you can save up to 35% when checking out. Cant beat that!!

Good value, helpful associates. Too much clutter in front of store around restrooms and end of aisles makes for difficult navigation with carts.

Went recently and found what I needed fairly quickly, however finding someone took 5 minutes. And then the associate who helped me did not speak English well enough to understand how much material I needed cut. They were very friendly and eager to help, but I gave up after 20 minutes of them misunderstanding what and how much I needed, multiple measurements, etc. I won’t back to this Home Depot.

The Home Depot app is the single best reason to go to Home Depot. Find what you need, even before you go there, and be able to go straight to the right aisle and bay. Incredibly helpful, especially for homeowners who are less familiar with equipment and building materials.

Had a successful visit. Picked up a bunch of things I needed to spruce up my home decor. Going back tomorrow for more! 😂😎

Actually had a wonderful experience!!! Got a hot water heater about 1 pm that was opened? Got to register and asked Xander if it was used. He explained rtv written on side meant return to vender. I left in front and went out to find another( took last one on floor). While searching I spotted a Hd employee(Jose from plumbing) and told him the issue. He floored me by saying Xander spoke to him and he found one in the top /sky and was in the process of getting a sky lift to get it down! What a bunch of great guys! 10 mins prior I was talking to another customer who was helping me load and I thanked him and said its Saturday and it is terrible to get help(SORRY GUYS)! Then 2 guys strangers came up to me and helped me load it! Its a great store, with mostly great employees, and it even has great customers!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!

If any other options go elsewhere... Stock is unreliable and they will surely let you down every time!

Always have what Im looking for, the staff is very knowledgeable and very courteous to everyone. I go at least once a month for odds and ends around the house or a tool for work. Its also less expensive than my local hardware store. Not to mention if i need something and dont have time to stop by they can deliver it to my front door. I believe its free delivery over a certain amount but i know i have never had to pay for shipping. They also cut keys. They have a great selection for gardening, including veggies and trees. I re-did my patio for $200 and it looks amazing thanks to the advice of the staff (a few helped at the same time).

Had to pick my online order myself. I waited 5 hours after order and then went there and I had to do it myself, and good thing I did because it was almost all gone.

Disorganized. Plumbing parts need to be sorted and reorganized. Every box I looked in had 2 or more items in it because people just throw things in any box.

This place has everything you need for home repairs. As a bonus, it was clean and smelled good with respect to other Home Depot locations

Went to home depot today looking to order alot of material for a big job I asked for a fork lift person and waited over 20 minutes to then ask again and the person had no professional help at all told me to wait no one has a license to drive the fork lift with people waiting at the register so I went to the manager and she looked right at me with the worst geto additute and said I have to make a conference call so someone else helped me by call Ralf who took another 20 minutes to then ask again what I wanted and then said he had to call Andy I waited over 10 minutes and then I went to Lowes got everything I wanted cheaper and they had plenty of fork lift people I was loaded up and out in 15 minutes home depot should be ashamed of them selfs mabe close so everybody just go to Lowes truthfully they should not even get one star but cant leave a review to save someone else the hassle

It is incredible but yes, EVERYONE there is so nice and they are crazy to help you. I always have a good experience when I come to Home Depot East Have to look at something.

If youve been there sometimes other shoppers will help you more than the employees that work there

Low in some hardware stock but found what I needed. Busy at HD today and check out was fast.

It was great!! Had to make a slight change on an order that was going to be delivered tomorrow and APRIL was amazing, very nice & efficient!! We appreciate her help very much. When we first made the order, I believe on Tuesday, JOAN & XANDER were equally very helpful!!! Thank you to all three!!

Its shocking that we continously drive an extra 20 minutes to get to Lowes but then everytime we try to come to the home depot around the corner we are reminded why we take the drive. I asked at least 5 associates if they could just check to see if they had an appliance in stock. The first 3 just said flat out no, Im busy. The 4th told me she didnt work in appliances so she couldnt help and the 5th told me he had no training and that I was better off going to Lowes. So now we are taking the trip yet again because home depot east haven just cant seem to get it together.

The store is well stocked and kept clean. Easy off and on I-95 and close to other main roads. Good prices.

The staff curtious behavior there was the most cheerful and appreciative in all the location Ive been.

LED spot lights (GE) had manufacturing defects when opened. Disappointed I now have to make another trip (30 miles) to return. At Home Depot, you need to quality control every item you purchase before you check out.

Not one of my favorite Home Depot’s. Seems unorganized. (Flooring found in multiple areas of the store.) Not easy to find an employee to assist.

This might honestly be the worst Home Depot I have ever been in. Every single employee seems like they are lost and have no idea what’s going on around them, every aisle looks like a tornado just ripped through it, and nothing is where it should be.

This location is pretty much like any other home depot, but they dont man their wood cutting center. A bit annoying if youre trying to cut a 4x8 to fit in your car.

Great store very well organized. Just wished the staff was Alitalia more helpful and you didnt have to run around the store to find someone to help you.

Wish I could give no stars. The beginning of Home Depot was much better than todays stores.i have had too many problems with orders and in store purchases to count especially with returns. Terrible management as well as store policies.

No service, no help getting a Christmas tree, pick out a tree but nobody would give it a fresh cut. The cashier was rude and mean worst ever, tried to call from parking lot no answer on main line for 27 minutes just a recording saying hold on.. went to Lowes and got one.

Went there for a hot water heater. Nobody around to help.I knew what model I wanted but couldnt find someone to help me load it on the cart.Finally managed to get it loaded, went to checkout and only self checkout was open.This particular store sucks!

Great Home Depot great service

The problem is Home Depot mentions having a product but oftentimes they are not in the store.

This company is nothing but a nightmare. I went to order a shed. Showed one available for the one I wanted. Once I went into order it say not available. Put in an order for 13 mini blinds. It was set up for delivery to my home the next day. Then the next morning I get an email that my order was canceled. Another time I brought an item back for an even exchange. Couldnt do it. They had to pay me for the item and then I had to go get the item I needed and go through the register again. One time I seen an employee who was talking to someone. When this person was ready to pay for her items the lines were long so the employee had her go to the service desk and the employee rang her out. Their service is going down hill fast. Dont think Ill be going back there unless really really have to.

Absolute worst staff in the entire chain. Clueless about simple cash register operations.Unfortunately I had to go back today to pick up a special order. Went in the lumber entrance and shopped my way down towards the giant 4 sided sign that says CUSTOMER SERVICE- ORDER PICKUP. waited in line while 6 employees fumbled through 3 return transactions for 15 minutes only to be told in a condescending tone that order pick up is actually somewhere else like I should have known. I point up at the sign and the snotty blonde says it says it over there too!BAD ATTITUDESBAD TRAININGBAD MANAGEMENT

Manager Mark Michaud went out of his way to help me out and he deserves a raise... his whole team are working very hard during this difficult time. Visited the Home Depot at east haven today at 2:30. Noticed several customers walking around the store who were not wearing a mask. This environment does not feel safe to me and I probably will not return to this store.

The store is nice but the parking lot is horrible.

East Haven is probably is the busiest of the Depots I visit, parking can be tight but they usually staff accordingly. As a DIY enthusiast Home Depot is my favorite store. Good prices, friendly and informative staff and great return policy!

Terrible. Take curbside pickup off as an option. Came to the store twice. Tried to use the app. So that myvorder could be brought out both times and both times dust there over 20 minutes. Texted the number it said to text and recieved a text saying its not a working number. Called the store several times only to have the phone ring over and over. Will never use this service again.

Today we purchased moving boxes and decided to look in Appliances to see what color and combination of new appliances would suit our new Florida home. There were so many styles and colors as well as prices to choose from. With the excellent customer service and recommendations we received from Jean, the Sales Representative in Appliances, we were able to narrow our choices down to one package from Samsung. Knowing we were going to make our purchase in Florida, she made our lives easy by copying the sales flyer on each appliance we chose so we would have the make, model, color and dimensions at our fingertips. Home Depot is lucky to have an employee like Jean who goes above and beyond her normal duties and is extremely pleasant while doing so. Thanks, Jean, for your assistance and knowledge!

The Garden staff is not helpful dont speak or show eye contact may need training made me feel like it was because i was African American where as the young lady from online pickup came from around her counter and showed me where the snow blowers were stacked.
