I recently had to replace my espresso machine, and the first time I did it through them, it went smoothly except for the machine getting damaged while it was delivered the first time to my house. I called the company and had to do another return through the espresso company again. So, I arrived at the UPS Store and dropped the machine off, and the man started the return process and said he would ship the machine soon, that was on September 30. Then almost a month later, I was notified by the company that they had not received the unit back yet. I gave the tracking number receipt to someone so that I wouldnt lose it, and they mistakenly lost it, but I went to the store anyway to see if they could give me a duplicate copy which they said they couldnt. They also said their company is not responsible for this because they shipped it back to the company, but yet they gave me the wrong tracking number and told me the tracking number that was not the one they gave me the day they shipped the unit was the right one. After hours of looking for the receipt, I finally found the receipt with the right tracking number on it. However, this could be avoided if they could just give me a duplicate copy of my receipt the day they shipped it. I will probably not deal with this store again. The man that I dealt with the first time was nice, but the one woman that waited on me today was rude and nasty to my family and me. This is almost a $700 espresso machine with tax, and I should have gotten my machine by now.Fortunately, the espresso machine company, when I found the receipt with the right tracking number, agreed to send me a new machine, but now they are investigating where the package is. However, now I probably have to wait another two weeks to receive my machine now. I support local businesses, but this is just unacceptable.
I shipped myself a package from this location to my home in Florida that was full of my valuables. The woman who helped me was pleasant and I purchased packing for the very top of my full box. The woman went on to say how tightly packed my items were and only needed to use packing for the 2-3 inches of space on top. The box was 57lbs when I left it with staff to pack, when I received the package it was 2lbs and over half of my valuables were not inside the box anymore. There was no damage or forced entry to the box, it had not been cut open, items were tossed around due to how much of my valuables were missing. When I called the store to figure out what needed to be done they told me it was definitely not stolen by someone there and it must have been along the route. No offer to review cameras or anything. I spent a lot of money to receive my items safely and Im heartbroken that half of my collectible valuables were stolen from a UPS employee.
I sell some of my items off of an app that Relies on the carrier to update when I drop the package off. I dropped the package off on a Thursday and it’s now Monday and not only does the shipping say not updated but now the app I sell on is contacting the buyer so they can cancel because the shipping hasn’t been updated yet I called this location that I’ve dropped off to multiple times and and associate pretty much told me that I’m SOL and there’s nothing they can do when I have the receipt for the label and the package that I shipped out I just want to know where my stuff is because now I’m gonna lose out on $100 because the buyers gonna cancel and get my products for free really annoying that he didn’t even try to investigate further by contacting UPS or looking in his system extremely annoying and it feels like they could care less about their jobs I was going to this location because they close A little bit later in the day but now I know better and will be sticking to the UPS that’s local to me
Absolutely rip off prices to ship auction items. Spoke to to cooperate who also confirmed that they have had many complaints about this location. Stay away! Stay far away from this dishonest location.
The staff printed the wrong label and sent my package to the wrong address. They did nothing to make up their mistake. Worst experience ever!!!!! DO NOT come to this store unless you want to lose your package!!! My case must not be the last.As everyone can see, I am not the only one give you negative review on the website. You got $3 printing fee but I lost my package worth more than $200 and wasted plenty of time. I did not feel your sincere apology. You even want to shirk the responsibility at this time. With such careless and disrespectful staff, your store will shut down sooner or later.
I JUST WANT TO SAY THE STAFF HERE IS AWESOME. ALSO NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THEM.
Waiting in a tiny store with 7 other people in line (during the pandemic), 2 of them not wearing masks properly. I had a drop off package so I ran up and left it on the counter and asked if that was OK. The guy said “no I’d rather give you a tracking number”. And I asked if I could wait outside for it. He said “no” again.. that he wouldn’t come out there to give it to me. I told him forget it and left the package. Hopefully it gets there..Update (12/16)- In response to the owners response:To clarify, I didnt have a bad experience. I didnt say that in my review of your business. I also didnt mention anything in regards to poor customer service. I simply explained that the accomodation I requested was not granted by your staff. I certainly understand how busy this time of year is for you and your team. Its a blessing that your small business is doing well and Ill continue to support it. In fact I have 2 packages to drop off later today. My shipments are not free however as you wrongly stated. I paid $100 for the previous one and about $100 each for the 2 Ill drop off today. I paid that $300 for the right to free shipping... and Im certain your company is being paid for your service as Im not aware of any non-profit status.I cant wait indoors right now for any prolonged period of time as it poses a higher risk to me given a health condition. I would have been happy to run back in to get the tracking number once it was ready. I didnt want to have to talk about that with your staff though. I wish they had just obliged my original request. If youre going to respond to this again, keep your passive aggression to yourself and just say sorry this time.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service I received at the East Longmeadow UPS store. Larry has some of the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. He couldn’t have cared less that the service I paid a hefty fee for was not delivered. I paid $152 for over seas shipping. It was supposed to arrive in three days. It arrived 15 days later. It wasn’t even in the correct country 3 days later. When my package was halted I called the store, was told someone was looking into it and that they would call me back. When no one called by the next day I went directly to the store where I had the displeasure of speaking with Larry. He didn’t seem to care at all about my problem and took absolutely no responsibility for the fact that my package was missing and it didn’t come close to arriving in three days. He simply blamed UPS international and the fact that nothing was “guaranteed”. However, he had NO problem taking my money. 15 days when you are estimated 3 is completely unacceptable. I cannot believe someone who lacks compassion, customer service skills, and proper mask wearing is in charge of a store. If you are running a business you should take responsibility for everyone you use to help you run the business. It is an extension and a reflection on you. If you have anything important to ship, steer clear of East Longmeadow UPS. The woman who works there is lovely, has great customer service skills and I feel sorry that she has to work with such a rude man.
The worst shipping experience ever! The workers took me it will get to the final distention In 4 days and now almost 2 weeks and my wife didn’t receive the package yet. I went there to get a refund since I paid for a service I didn’t receive but they won’t refund me! They basically stole my money. I will try to sue them
Very friendly and efficient. Love doing business with them.
Barbara the store employee was extremely rude to me and the previous customer ahead of me. I was returning an Amazon package and she asked me for the code which I wasnt aware of so I asked her where can I find this code and her reply was I dont know Im not amazon! Just rude and unprofessional! Then she totally ignored me n took the next person in line after I waited for the 4 people ahead of me! Early morning disappointment thanks Barbara!Reply: I do ask you to train your rude miserable employees correctly!!
This ups store make wrong label on my box and they can’t do any useful thing for me. And the employee say sry at last min to me after I asking. So sad. bruh!
Always do an amazing job helping me package and ship, giving the best deals/prices. 100x better than the post office... USPS wouldnt even let me use a piece of their tape at the desk, whereas UPS was literally trying to stop me from purchasing packing tape because he insisted on using their tape to wrap my packages. That right there is just a small example that symbolizes their customer service attitude compared to other places...
I will not visit this location ever again.
Larry and his staff are always helpful, thorough and courteous. They are always there to help me with my business needs. I have been doing business with them for many years and will continue doing business with them for many more.
I have utilized several different stores that offer business services and specialty mailing but this is the most user friendly store I have ever visited. Because of that I have been a regular customer for years. I visit weekly and I always get a friendly greeting. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. It may get busy during high volume times like Hanukkah and Christmas and all the other year end holidays (when every store and post office is busy) but they all do their best to fill the individual needs of each customer and still keep the line moving along. I give Larry and his staff each an A+ in efficiency and customer care.
The customer service is awful. From now on I will gladly drive the 6 miles to the West Springfield UPS. They are pleasant and happy to help. East Longmeadow UPS customer service could use some lessons in helpful pleasant manners.
Normally I have had good experiences at UPS. The one in Enfield CT is where I normally go and they are always accommodating and helpful. The one in Longmeadow I have only been to a handful of times, but today I did not have a good experience.I was doing an Amazon return. Normally, Ill walk in and they will scan the label on my phone. Unbeknownst to me, this particular label had to be printed - which is fine.I was dealing with an older woman with short white hair. She didnt say hello and was very abrupt with me. When she saw the label on my phone, she snipped youre going to have to go home and print that out.I mentioned the Enfield, CT location and how they usually scan, but was cut off mid-sentence and again abruptly told no you will have to print it out at home and come back.As I was sitting in my car I saw on the window that UPS has printing service. I had completely forgotten about that. I was happy to pay whatever it cost to print the label. As an international sales manager I must say that this would have been a perfect opportunity for her to mention the other services UPS has to offer. I walked back in and politely asked if I could please print. The other employee, Jessie was her name, was extremely helpful. She said oh youd like to print it? Come right this way🙂Meanwhile, in the background was the other employee snapped another comment: you know youre gonna have to pay for that.I just nodded and told both of them that was fine.It was $2.13. I realize thats not a lot of money for a business, but as a Manager I would think that could add up over time. A branch is always looked upon favorably by the manager(s) if they have a good attachment rate on offering up other services UPS has to offer. You cant sell it if you dont show it or mention it.I dont know why this employee was rude to me, or why she pre-judged me or assumed I wouldnt want to pay for printing. In any case, I wont be going back there.
Was waited in by David, who was a big help! He was very pleasant and accommodating. My experience was outstanding, and I will come to this UPS from now on because of the friendly service David gave!
My husband gives the store a 5 star rating. he finds the staff very user friendly and helpful, especially Doreen. She has made numerous copies of documents for him, even during busy times, with a smile! She seems to enjoy her job and and customers.
Always friendly and willing to help. Reasonable pricing on shipping.
Package Lost before it was even picked up? Called to follow up. CSwoman knew nothing. Couldnt help. Have to wait till monday when the owner arrives. Meanwhile the package is high priority. I paid extra for it to arrive to my mom, incidentally they are gloves and mask for her. Have to think it was taken, but what else could I think. First experience here. WILL NEVER AGAIN. SO sorry I felt safe going through UPS.
Great customer service! Efficient
I am very pleased with the packaging and shipping experience I had with the staff at this UPS Store! On 5/23/2016, I brought in a glass antique Asian piece of artwork I wanted shipped home. I had acquired it while visiting family in the area and was hesitant to take it on the plane with me. The gentleman working there - I think it was Brandon - went over all the options they had for wrapping it and ensuring its safe arrival. And when it arrived 5 days later, it was intact - the packaging was perfect and I have my artwork hanging in the house now! I am most grateful!
Im just glad to know I can do mostly everything here, that I need to get done, now that I dont have to go to the horrible Staples on Boston rd.Wish the one across the street never closed. The staff has always been friendly, patient and helpful.
I went into this store today to mail a Family Bible back to my cousin whose mother recently passed away. The Bible was mistakenly placed in my puppy’s overnight bag. There were many legal important papers in this bible. I tried to get Howie to understand this. He rolled his eyes at me each time I expressed how important this bible was. I tried to explain to him that I needed to see him box it up but he became overwhelmed with my request. He wouldn’t box it up in front of me. He stated he had at least 30 other packages to box. Because there were important documents with the Bible I didn’t feel comfortable just letting it lie around in the back room. He said I have a line. Not my problem!!! I stood my place in line waited my turn for my opportunity to receive good customer service. Howie and the owner failed me. I had him issue me a return. I went to Staples bought my supplies. Packed it up. Went to the USPS and shipped it from there....cheaper!!! I won’t say I’ll never use another UPS store ever....but I’ll never use this one again. I wonder if they have something against Christians....hmmm.
Theres a lady in there who is very rude. I wont bore everyone with the gory details, but Im guessing shes the owner, since she still has a job. I wont be back to this location.
I will never set foot in this store again!!Treated so rudely by the blonde woman in there last Wednesday I actually wrote a letter and took the time to complain to customer service. I was told it was an independent franchise, which surprised me because I would think they would want to encourage customers not drive them out. I went to another store in Enfield and was treated wonderfully. Live and learn
Always so helpful and wonderful to deal with. Thank you!
I was surprised to see that I was charged a transaction fee that I was not informed of in advance. When I called the store to inquire the response was that they either charge the fee or would not offer the service. Whoever I spoke obviously did not care, nor would they bother discussing as they just said they were too busy and hung up.There are other locations which do not charge hidden fees, or Staples in East Longmeadow may be a better option. The other stores that I have dealt with have always been pleasant, the East Longmeadow store has poor customer service.
Great UPS store. They are very busy there and still took time with me. The owner was very nice as well as the other staff.
Never doing business with this store again. Ever. I dropped off a package with a pre-printed shipping label with tracking. Over 1 week later, my package is no where to be found. Tracking tells me that it was never shipped. I called the store 3 times and no one was able to tell me if my package went out - including the manager, Larry. Apparently the store is not responsible for my package. Larry does NOT work for UPS and says, I just have the privilege of paying the high rent...all for nothing. Clearly he has some issues and couldnt care less about customer service. I am extremely frustrated seeing that it was a very important package. I am baffled that it is 2015 and they cannot tell me when I dropped off my package and whether or not it was shipped. I dont doubt that it was due to the stores incompetency to simply scan a barcode.
I would give it negative stars if I could. Simply asked the lady to hold for a second while I measure the box size as I had the ruler in my hand, but she said no, told me to call back and hung up.
Do not use this UPS store. The owner, LARRY is the most unhelpful and deceptive person I have encountered in a long time. A package was sent via UPS to the West Indies through this store in East Longmeadow and it was not delivered successfully. It has been over 6 weeks and no formal investigation with a claim number attached has even been done despite the numerous false assurances by Larry. In fact, he stated that he does not in fact work for UPS when questioned as to whether or not he is responsible to refund the shipping costs! Insurance was also paid in addition to the shipping cost. Larrys attitude is very poor although he seems to be trying to act like the good guy - let me assure you nothing could be further from the truth and he apparently is waiting for this to just go away. Well to make a long story short, a small claims court case will be filed shortly and then Larry will have to pay a substantially higher claim amount than if he had just dealt in good faith and followed his and UPSs own policy for resolving situations like this. So, if you want to avoid this type of major hassle and shady business tactics then I would suggest using the Postal Service, Fedex, or DHL for your package delivery needs. At the very least, avoid the UPS store in East Longmeadow, MA and maybe you wont get tricked by Larry into believing that should anything go wrong with the delivery of your package, he will honor any of his commitments to or guarantees to refund your money and make things right.
The owner Larry is a coward, and very unprofessional. I will not do business at this location ever again. Learn how to deal with customers, rather than control them.
Very rude staff I called to ask a question and I was told that he had customers and was hung up on I was personally very shocked that a employee would handle a customer and that sort of way I wouldnt had mind being put on hold if thats what he had to do but to speak to me like that was very poor customer service
Same here, package I sent out from there USPS disappeared from their store, someone is clearly stealing them.
I was supposed to receive a package, but when they came to deliver it to my doorstep, I wasn’t home. They left a slip on my door saying that it will be delivered a week later, but it wasn’t. I waited a couple more days, but my package still did not come. I went to store to pick up and ask them, why package didn’t deliver it ? their Answer was: It is up to driver.
Everyone is very nice and helpful
