I am writing this review for Ogechi and Bijal. These folks are absolutely amazing, selfless, patient, and committed. My dear 12 yo son was trying to overcome a fear and anxiety toward needles and get his COVID vaccine. We were there 3 nights for hours each night working through the anxiety and overcoming the fear. After many hours together (2 nights with Ogechi and 1 night Bijal), my son was able to conquer his fear. Our deepest thanks to these amazing people.

The general store customer service is excellent their courtesy is great the mgr.Ann is great the pharmacy is slow answering phones terribly techs dont know how to multi task the store is great overall.

Good evening...Just a suggestion... admit when you make a mistake,Doing last minute shopping, so I stopped @ my local Rite aid.. picked up several items plus a gift card ( Game Stop) I was told it was in the bag.. called store, told to come back with receipt..Looked @ camera showed it was rung up.. yesBut not in bag.. I was told it was in with a card I purchased..Not found..So I’m out $30 ..I’m upset because one of the Managers was like I was lying.. gave two different stories ..I’m a loyal customer, not trying to get anyone in trouble...Never had an issue with this location..I was going to purchase another gift card..But the way they went about it..Coming from Management

A lady denied me service to buy a lighter because I’m too “young” I’m 20 and I gave her my is and she said it’s illegal even though nj state laws states you have to be 18 to purchase a lighter. She was very rude. You guys need to evaluate who you hire. Won’t be receiving another dime from me.

The people in this store is in need of training. They have no personality or customer service skills. They laugh and have personal conversations in the presence of customers. So not professional!!

The people on the registers are extremely slow and dont care that they are. Every experience here has been consistently slow and Ive been there over 10 times.

Do Not shop here. Yesterday, the manager threatened to call the police on a customer who was falsely accused of shoplifting!!!! The customer was speaking her mind and the manager got mad and threatened to call the police on her!!!!! Poor management and ownership!!! People in the community should stop getting their prescriptions from here and stop patronizing Rite Aid period!!!! They do not appreciate this community! And no the lady was not arrested because she never stole anything in the first place!!!! With all of his management skills the only thing he could so was to threaten a customer with the police!!! Sound familiar!!!! Again, terrible management at Rite Aid, 543 Central Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!! And no, the customer was never arrested because the customer never shoplifted in the first place!!!! In stores like these the people who steal the most are the ones who work there!!! FACTS!!!!
