We went there on a Sunday afternoon. There are always a lot of inspiration by visiting Ikea. Kids had a fun too. There is one issue it was too crowed in the store especially during the pandemic. The map and signs make me confused every time when I am there. I did my best following the sign but ended up scratching my head. A alarm was triggered when we were at the market place. People got nervous but still evacuated in order. It was confirmed a false one. It was a nice experience anyway. Will be happy to drop by in the coming future.

Ive been to many Ikeas and I have to say that this one is the best. First of all, palm trees as you enter.Their bistro area is really organized and you order at kiosks (we dont have them on the east coast). There is a large board to tell you when your order is ready so you dont have to crowd around the counter. It did take quite a long time to get 2 slices of pizza, probably about 15 minutes. The check out people were very nice and helpful.Parking is good in the garage, but it was so crowded that you do have to drive around a bit to find a spot. Its good that you can easily bring your cart to the car and not have to drive around to get your stuff.Like all Ikeas these days there was so much out of stock especially in the office department. Im not sure if/when they will catch up to demand.I wanted to try the new vegan ice cream dessert, but like my home Ikea, they were out of it.

Well, for a store this is a huge place. Lots of items to look through and you can always find something to buy. They are famous for modular design and DIY set ups. You cant get wrong if you like the overall design. We went after 4 years and found the same items. The designs must be popular otherwise they would not have kept it in the catalog. But it also meant we did not see any new design. If you are setting up an apartment for the first time, this is a good place to start. Relatively cheap, contemporary, modern, fun to assemble, and serves the purpose.

We went on the weekend. I looked up the product we wanted on the website before going and found the aisle and spot where it was in the pickup area. We didnt have any trouble parking. When we went in we found exactly the inventory as described on the website. We did self-checkout which was easy and fast. There was a line at the elevator and one elevator was not in service, but the line went pretty quickly. The product was easy to assemble and fit perfectly where we wanted it.

Let’s face it. IKEA is an immersive, experiential destination. Not a retail trip lol. The food: nailed it. The staged little rooms that make you want to lie down and write in your gratitude journal. We like going to Ikea but we hate when the item they have in display is out of stock.Lately every item is either out of stock or oversold and there is no timeframe when they will get it back. The good thing about going to Ikea is that you can imagine how your room/kitchen/bathroom will look and the furniture they sell saves a lot of space, however it is not meant to last. If you use them properly I give them 2 to 3 years of life, if the use is heavy they will worn out pretty quickly that you will need to replace them.

Hmm, what to say about this IKEA location. The little engine that almost could, but just couldnt. Pros: Nice displays, tempting home goods, & somehow the best kept secret--vegetarian hotdogs! Cons: Always limited parking close to the entrance, very packed with people inside (even during Covid), the worst squeaky carts (every time!), nonexistent customer service, & worst of all--many items out of stock all throughout the store & in the warehouse.

Fun store to shop at. Only draw back would be that your initial experience is obstructed by not knowing exactly how to purchase an item like furniture. I figured you had to use the number on the tag somehow but it was unclear as to how to use the tag info. Once my wife and I asked a couple questions to other shoppers we were able to navigate to the right location. If I were IKEA I would set up the entry a little better to give shoppers a more clear idea. When we asked one couple they were in the same boat as us as first time and so we werent the only ones which made us feel better. Great product otherwise!

I went to IKEA to search shelves for a bookcase I bought years ago. Since I didnt have to go through the whole store, I and went immediately to the returns area. I waited maybe 2 minutes to talk to the person in charge of returns and described what I was looking for. He gave me a location in the warehouse where he thought might be correct. It was dead on. Three shelves and 15 minutes later I was out the door. One of my easiest trips ever to IKEA

I have been to 2 ikeas in the bay, one here and one in Emeryville. This ikea in palo alto has a parking structure with many parking spots available. Also its just right off of 101 and it is super easy to get there, shop and get back on the highway.Like all the other ikeas, this store has many great products and its easy to navigate through the store. Prices on some products are unbelievably low, and there are some that are not really the best deal, so do.yoir research before purchasing some stuff. As it was during the pandemic the main food court was closed, but the shop by the registers was open so you can still get an ice cream on your way out.All in all, had a good experience there and people working where somewhat knowledgeable and helpful in finding what we exactly needed.

Today this happened with all 3 pieces of furniture I selected. I live too far away to return when restocked. And shipping costs are outrageous. Even in the restaurant today, I decided on Greek salad and chocolate cake after being shown images of them repeatedly while standing in line for 30 minutes. Only to find neither of these were available. It’s like a nightmare version of Disneyland in which you stand in lines and crowds all day without the payoff of the ride at the end.
