Had a fitting with Michael Anthony. Met him at a course recently and glad I did. I’ll explain the fitting today as under promising and over delivering but in good way. Gained yards and great dispersion. He came off as quiet but confident on the course when we played but he’s super friendly inside the hitting bay. Challenged me a ton.Having worked in golf myself, less talking & more results is what fitting is about. 45 minutes and I was out! The rest of the fitting staff is great too as I frequent the store. Everyone was helpful. Go see Michael A. for a solid fitting.
Had a fitting with Michael Anthony today and had a blast. Super Informative and really funny. Saw him on my Instagram feed and it was as advertised. Will be back for more.Big step up from other golf shops I’ve tried recently. Plenty of inventory too. Check out the shoes! Great Nikes not seen elsewhere.
Had a good experience trying out new clubs. Mr Michael was recommended by my friend and he helped me for a while get new clothes and some other stuff. We found the right set for me too! Unfortunately they have nothing in stock right now. Seems to be the common theme in the bay area. It was a fun time. I’ll be back to hit more balls soon!
In former Best Buy 2013 they put pga tour superstore grand opens in 2014 that’s cool!
Well this was a degrading experience.Im in on business and wanted to get a full set up for this location when Im in the territory. I took an Uber in and walked in with my backpack. Knowing that it is probably against the policy, I went right to the counter and offered to surrender my bag while I shopped.I took a few steps forward and realized my wallet was in my bag (cant buy $3k of clubs without a wallet!) So I walked back and asked another person if I could grab my wallet so I can shop. This employee told me I need to put my bag in the car or I cant shop here. I told him I took an Uber in and dont have a car. He gave a big puff and started to call the manager. At this point I told him forget it Ill buy elsewhere.I dont want to shop at a place where Im a burdon.
Gary at the PGA Super Store is a Super Star.. He took care of my problem with a new driver and gave me the same driver with a much better top of the line shaft.. Gary was Johnny on the spot and called me every day telling me my driver was ready to pick up.. My wife spends a lot of money at the store and its people like Gary is the reason that we do,, If you have any problems get Gary involved . He will take great care of you in a flash with no problems
I go to PGA Superstore for the selection. I had a great experience today getting fitted for and purchasing my new driver with Michael. You may have to wait a while to try out clubs due to the wait-list, but this is a great store.
Fantastic store everything you need for golf and tennis. Some nice training screens for club fitting.
Great equipment and golf accessories with expert staff.....one huge pro shop where you can try things out.
Employees very helpful. In and out quickly with what I was looking for!
I had regrip on my 2piece grip putter. I requested to put lower to first lower grip, but they did not. So I went to fix it. However, the clark (i will post later) barely looked at my putter and said oh, can not do it. Then, I said this is 2piece grip, so it will be separated, but you guys did not do on it. Finally he said YOU HAVE TO CUT THE PUUTER SHAFT! Dont say anything if you are tired of do customwer service.
Better inventory than other big stores during Covid.
Me and my mother in law went in to this store today and had a very unpleasant experience and went straight to Golf Galaxy and spent 3000 bucks. We found a women’s 10 piece golf set we liked but the drivers looked used and dirty. The manager said he would check the sale price and left us waiting for 38 minutes and we found him at the counter doing something else. In addition, your price was 40% higher than what was online for a unused new product (callaway solaire 11 piece set-699 online but your price is 1000 and discounted at 900 because its used)We just got tired of waiting. The person at galaxy talked us into buying the taylormade sim2 iron set+driver+putter+Wood+bag and we just came back from santa teressa golf range and we love it. Thats how you do business. We have a whole line of friends and family who are looking for clubs and this is where we are buying.
I never leave reviews but I had to for this store. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. The only words your employees know are I dont Know. They say I dont know and walk away. This is a message to your employees, if you dont like working customer service get a different job.
Good selection of golf apparel and gear. Usually not crowded. Plenty of parking.
Amazing Store. Fantastic Customer Service from James of RWC. He was the Golf Club Fitter and is so knowledgeable.PGA store is lucky to have him as an employee.
Bought an item and waited for a week and a half. Then I received an email saying Unfortunately, weve had to cancel all or a portion of your order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The item(s) listed below were cancelled from the order as they are no longer available. You have not been charged for the cancelled item(s).They suck! why have it on their website if they dont have it in stock?
Store manager is rude and on edge all the time. Customer service is on par with the DMV.
The staff was super helpful, low pressure. I appreciated his help in trying to find a hybrid.
Awful in store experience. You have to walk around for 20 min before you find somebody to help you. We were looking for 2 full golf sets and when we finally found the place in the store where they were sold, they had no prices on any of them. Had to walk around (20min again) to find somebody to help us get the pricing. Once we reached the check out counter, they made us wait another 15 min while they sent somebody to confirm the type of set and the price again. Eventually i went myself and took a picture to show them where we had picked it up and what the sign said.
Terrible service - had to approach four different employees to get some who could allow me to use one of the practice bays so I could decide whether a driver was right for me.... Ultimately I had to give up since the employees kept shuffling me around...
What a store! From the weekend hacker to a pro, there is something for all. From clothing to accessories, this store has everything. The putting area allows everyone to try just about every putter on the market. The multiple golf swing evaluators/simulators give everyone a chance to not only try new clubs but give you incite on how you hit the ball. Ill be back again and again, too much good stuff
This store has everything golf. If they dont have it, you dont need it. The repair staff is top notch.
Staffs are kind and things are good.
Huge store, great deals, helpful staff, excellent practice bay.
All good! Had most of what I needed in stock. Even some good used clubs.
Amazing Experience as always. Golf Shoes on sales has great prices.
I was in the putter section and was waiting over an hour waiting for employee to help, every time I asked a question they would just walk away.. maybe it has to do with the color of my skin? I have no idea why I couldnt get help.
Love this store, everyone treats me good whenever I’m in to get grips or club adjustments. They have great golf knowledge and insight always an enjoyable experience.
My son got his Oddysey White Hot Pro with a custom length and grip for a great price.
Only pga store in bay area.. nice and big, everything you might need
Great store and personal service. found my magic 4 wood on sale too!
I was 100% planning on buying a new set of irons here today. The salesperson working at the launch monitors was tending to another customer so I patiently waited. He eventually grabbed a club for me and went back to other customer. I told him I was serious about buying a full set, but only got about 5 min of his time over the next hour. I’ve decided I’ll go with the new Titliest T300 (I only got to try 2 clubs, but I liked that one). I will not be buying from here, poor customer service.
I would like to sincerely thank Troy the store manager at the Palo Alto store for being very receptive and understanding for an issue with a return of my clubs for re-gripping. He listened to my issue did the proper and expected research and offered a very fair and reasonable solution to the issue.Being in sales myself my expectations for good customer service were met and exceeded.. Kudos to Troy for your prompt and decisive process..Carlos
Let me start off by saying the customer service took this place from four to five stars. Great, attentive, helpful service. Felt like the staff here was more knowledgeable and eager to help than those at similar stores like Golfsmith. Selection is fantastic, prices are competitive. Only with they had a larger used section!
Amazing customer service! These employees(John and Gordon) went above and beyond what I expected to make sure I had a great experience and got what I needed. Great place for golf stuffs !!This store is also a relaxed golf atmosphere with all the latest state-of-the-art simulators to use for just hitting balls, playing a favorite course or taking a lesson.I highly recommend this store over any other golf store in the area or CA for that matter.
Too many men.
Good seevice...
Atrocious customer service.
I love this store. Its huge, has many selections. Store associates are extremely knowledge and helpful (Gordon, John to name a few). I go there for all my golf needs.
Be wary of service department, messed up replacing grips on my woods (they were sliding all around on the club a day later) and ruined a round golf and cost me some $$$ in a cash game having to tee of with a 4 iron all day. Think a PGA superstore could replace grips but be careful many employees may not be trained properly.
Some sales staff are extremely rude. I wont go back and wouldnt recommend this store. After playing very limited golf for several years I am starting to get back into it. Last driver I bought is years old. I went in to this store for the first time to see what the new drivers offered. I went in and waited 45 minutes to be acknowledged. I waited for a salesman and once one came by the hitting bays I asked if I could try some drivers. After explaining I have no preference in club at this point. He brought over several drivers and I proceeded to hit. He changed shafts back and forth. The computer system they use has a time limit. I suspect 15 minutes then times out then needs to be relogged into by the salesman. After several minutes of trying some of the 8 clubs he offered, him going to help other customers a couple of times and 2 or 3 computer time outs he was called away. I waited for him to return and in the meantime the computer timed out. I and the person in the next bay asked another salesman to reset the computers. Salesman #2 reset the other customers and ignored me. I waited for the original salesman to return. He never did and salesman #2 walks by and said this is not a driving range, if you want to just hit balls I need to go to their other bays. I guess they have a time limit for helping. Their sign says free 1/2 hour club fitting and I was beyond that by about a 1/2 hour but I dont know how I could have decided which club to buy with 8 clubs and different shafts to demo. I suspect salesman #1 was called away on purpose to get rid of me. If someone explained there was a time limit I could have tried a couple of offerings and maybe come back to try a couple more. Instead I was made to feel I did something wrong. He asked saracastically if I was ready to buy and I told him I was just not from this store
Excellent customer service! They were so helpful and always are every time I go to the store!
Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had a custom club ordered and it didnt arrive. When inquiring as to the delay, the associate I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I had to ask if I was bothering him as he was so curt. After no help from the associate, I contacted the manufacturer to inquire why the club didnt arrive and was told it was backordered for months. No indication of this when I ordered it from this store. The manufacturer also said they would contact this store to refund my money and two days later I have not heard from PGA Superstore Palo Alto. I have been trying to contact the store directly and now their mail box is full (very convenient!) and I cannot get in touch with anyone. Avoid this store.
I LOVE this place! They took over the space from an old Best Buy and its HUGE. The selection there, especially for apparel is better than any Bay Area golf store and even better than most online retailers. They are also pretty good with pricing and price matching and are very happy to help, answer questions and just talk golf. On the weekends they commonly have contests every couple of hours and give away prizes. But be careful, its easy to spend 2-3 hours without realizing it! Hahaha...for those close enough, Id highly recommend a visit.
The amount of equipment they have is fabulous. You name it, they have it. I went into the store, was in there for 45 min and didnt have one per person come see if I needed help. Doesnt matter how well stocked your shelves are if youre customer service isnt up to par.
Bought a set of irons from here, Bob spent a lot of time getting a custom fit for me, Bob is awesome and for an 160lb, 86 year old man, he’s gotta helluva golf swing. Thanks Bob!
Very helpful nice and polite staff worth the from San Francisco
They really took care of my hubby and fitted him with great gulf clubs at a competitive price.
Attention Supervisor David Whited: just wanted you to know that Teaching Professional, Chris Mullane helped me a whole bunch on my visit to your store. Kudos to a great employee!
Awesome store with booths to practice and a whole putting green indoors, with a huge selection of whatever you need
Great service. New set of custom golf clubs, new bag and other golf stuff.
Terrible customer experience time after time at this store.
Really big and well equipped store. Friendly and helpful staff.
My golf class amazing!!!

Huge inventory and always have the latest equipment to try.
Very courteous staff!
Great store, they have everything.
Individual assisting me was great.
The biggest golf store in the bay area. the only mega golf store in the penninsula.
False advertisement. Dont bother going for any advertises sale. They dont have it!!
What more do you want from a golf shop?
Very large selection, terrible service
Rude and unhelpful staff.
Ted is awesome!!!!
Good experiences here. Good fitting for my hybrids. Need more women in golf. Mike Anthony was friendly and attentive. He helped me pick some shoes & gloves after . Last visit he helped me with irons and balls ! Friendly staff and a good store. Local golf shops in my area wouldn’t even help me.
Very good
The store is very boss
