I hate doing this and reviewing so low but customer service goes a long way when you own a business. I’m almost certain that the cashier I see everytime I go here is the owner. She has never approached me and asked if I needed help and it’s always just me in the store. She’ll give me dirty looks and act like she can’t be bothered. One time I was trying to checkout and she had a 13 minute conversation with a customer about covid-19. I guess she knew the customer but how unprofessional is that? The customer said that she’ll move out of the way so I could checkout and she told her “no it’s fine”. Really? This was months ago and I refuse to step foot in this supply store even though it’s 3 minutes from my house. This business is probably only still here because she collaborates with the salon around the corner. I’ll continue to go to stroud beauty supply store which is 30 minutes away. Been going to them for 12 years and never leave feeling like I’m a bother.

Been coming here for almost 4yrs. Place is always neat & clean & smelling good. Nice variety, get discounts when you buy a display wig also which is nice. They have it all wigs, braiding hair, tracks & all hair products. I love it here.

They have the products that ethnic people in the area need which make it a great store because its hard to come by in the area but the customer service SUCKSSSSS! I got there and there was a sign on the door that they would be back at 12:15 which okay everyone needs a break I guess thats a staffing issue. The cashier came back close to 1 pm! And did not apologize or even greet the people waiting outside!!! Literally went thru the door ON THE PHONE and proceeded to talk while customers walked around. I was in such disgust I turned around and left didnt even buy anything went right to Strouds beauty supply found what I was looking for and got assisted. Dont go to this store if u dont want to curse someone out. Spend your money where you are appreciated!

Place was below my standards. It was nice neet and clean and well-organized but the cashier was not very helpful when I needed something. I made it well known Ill go to New York City to pick up my wigs because the selection here is too few and too limited for my taste.

Good amount of supplies for women of color. I go often. Prices are fair.

Everything is great here but it’s never open on time.. if it says it opens at 10 i don’t understand why it’s always opened 2 hours later....

Soo I Been Coming Here For A While And Before I Gave It A 5 Star Review because I Come Here Every Week And (Not Counting The Amount Of People I Referred Here) Today I Experienced The Worst Thing Ever The Wig I Picked Out Was Not What Was In The Box paid And Left Came Right bAck 5 mins later And was Told Couldnt Return (EVEN THO IT WAS THE WRONG HAIR INSIDE THE BOX) I really wanted to Swap NOT REFUND AND the Customer Service Was Horrible Sad Because I Really Love This Spot I’ll Take My Money Else Where Just A Shame

Nice clean and organized. And had everything I needed especially my color 350. Which is hard to come by in this area. Prices are good to very close of not the same as nyc Prices. #blkowned

The owner is such a pleasant & beautiful soul with a calm peaceful spirit, wonderful business owner.. I do miss her in the store, I ended up talking with her about way more than hair supplies🤣🤣 ... Abby is very fun & humorous, always a good time with her, she’s also very helpful, good for business!!

The owner always makes you feel welcome you feel like you made a good purchase and not like you got ripped off.

I read a few reviews before I went and was pleasantly surprised when the negative review posted was totally unfounded! The owner and her assistant were more than helpful and made my first wig purchase a good one! She was attentive to each customer that came in. Ill definitely be back to patronize this business.

Im a naturalista as are my girls, and we rely on Big Apple Beauty Supplies wonderful selection of natural hair care merch for all our hair and beauty needs! The shop consultants are delightful and always helpful in suggesting products and doling out beauty advice. As a New Yorker its like having a bit of the culture of the Bronx, Brooklyn and Harlem right here in the Poconos mountains!

Abby is awesome. She has a beautiful personality and she has excellent customer service. The store is clean and easy to shop in. There are lots of hair product options.

The store is supposed to open at 9 AM, its going on 10 and theyre still not opened. I understand people run late but this is unprofessionally late!

Horrible customer service! They state they open at 9am on a Saturday... I waited 45 minutes for someone to finally come to open the store.When I finally went inside, they were extremely rude. I took my business down to Stroud’s beauty supply where they treat their customers with respect and open when they say they will be open! Never again

Was trying on wigs and they kept watching us and peaking in the aisles because I am a caucasian. Felt degraded because of my race. Felt very victimized and uncomfortable.

Awful Customer service. No greeting when you walk in the store and The woman working could be bothered to help me. I asked about a specific kind of extension, she misunderstood what I was asking and just dismissed me all together. Never again.. Just rude...
