Very convenient location at Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Clean and organized store. Also they have their own gas station with lowest price you can get in the area.

It was like other Walmart experiences except there were NO cashiers in human form to check individuals out. But that would be my only negative observation as they were organized enough to have the customers moving smoothly to the automated checkout lanes. So overall a decent time was had here.

As usual with any type of Walmart experience; it was extremely crowded, the prices were nice and low, everything that I couldnt find anywhere else, and a ton of things out of stock. The few workers I did see walking around... looked like they hated their lives. Not too bad, but not great either.

Dawn & Romona. “team leaders”. Did not know their own policies. Argued with us for 5 minutes holding up the self checkout even more.. for absolutely NO REASON. Dawn especially was Completely unprofessional even for Walmart..argued with me about the store policy that is clear that they will match Walmart.com(sold by Walmart, not 3rd party) that they DO NOT MATCH themselves. Took the collectibles that I was trying to price match, damaged them by handling them, moving them. Removing them from my cart after trying to make me pay full price for something they were selling cheaper themselves online. I pull up price match policy for them. Then they say oh you’re right we will honor it. 15 min after I ask for a manager still no manager(I WAS TOLD THE MANAGER: CASSANDRA WAS BUSY. SHE WAS SITTING IN A LOCKED ROOM LESS THAN 10 FEET AWAY answering the team leaders questions easily enough..) DAWN WALKS BY “it’s over, it’s done, that’s it” (in other words F off..) as we are talking to romona who was much less rude. Instead of bringing us a manager to tell us why they wasted so much of our time and got stressed for absolutely no reason. CASSANDRA(the manager) WAS NOT WILLING TO COME OUT OF THAT ROOM & TALK/HELPPRICE MATCH WAS ATTEMPTED BECAUSE ITS THEIR POLICY TO MATCH THEMSELVES. We did not buy the items due to them being touched too many times by the time they said “YOU are RIGHT”.COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

We needed some stuff for the new house so we hit up the Walmart. We got a slot up front to park in. The place was not crowded. This Walmart is clean, bright and pretty spacious. They had everything we needed. The staff is super friendly. Prices are what you expect.

Wanted to buy a car radio, the associates could not find a manager or anyone to open up the locked glass so i walked out empty handed. completely ridiculous that their products are locked up. loss prevention policy is an absolute joke.

This was the worst Walmart I have ever been to. I would give it no stars but wont let me. Tried to get a money order and was told to go to another area. Went there and then got sent back to the first place. After being ignored for 15 minutes a lady who barely spoke English helped me. Please understand that it was not just me but also my son in law. Neither of us understood her. Then went through the store to shop and asked a man in electronics where the phones were without looking up from his cell phone he said row 2. I said thank you and he ignored me. Most of the store seemed empty with very little stock. I will never shop there again

Walmart in Stroudsburg pa Lincoln Ave! Shelfs are empty was told by an employee all the stock was in the back waiting to be put 9n shelves! No workers as usual the self check out computers are always non functional!!!

Why do people not have common sense?? The lady at returns had an issue she couldnt fix herself with a customer and needed help. She called for help and instead of helping other customers on the long line, she waited about 15 minutes for help that still hasnt arrived. The only reason she began to help other customers is because an employee ( not working) was waiting to get his refund which she gave to him before helping others on the line. Walmart I swear you can be frustrating as hell!

I think this Walmart is, frankly, pretty bad. Some of the employees are wonderful and then others are just down right ornery. The store just really doesnt seem clean most of the time. And as for curbside pick up... I have used it 4 or 5 times and have not had a good experience a single time. Always a super long wait, missing items, rotten food items - but wait! The folks that run your order out to you have been wonderful every single time. Thumbs up for them.

You can’t just walk in to Walmart and pick things up anymore. There are so many private sellers that charge shipping for everything. I needed a wrench. After Walmart and Home Depot (they canceled order, out of stock) I had to rely on trusted, Amazon Prime, next day. Smh

Great small location for locals to buy things they need. But has very little supply of items. Shelves are usually bare. If you need certain items best to order online and schedule pick up here at this location to secure the item you need.

Nice store all you need place for everything great sales great products plenty of parking...But not to many workers around to help customers you are pretty much on your own. Good luck

On the day of my visit to Walmart located in East Stroudsburg, the store was relatively busy, as usual & thats a great thing. All the shelves, freezers & bakery section were fully stocked. For the first time in a very long time the bathrooms were cleaned & It was a nice shopping experience. However, this review is based on my first time visiting back in years. Lets hope if remains this way!!!

Very happy to see a lot of Latino representation at this location. My wife and I were visiting from NYC and we were pleasantly surprised to see a lot of our cooking supplies and ingredients available in abundance.

I went to this Walmart on 9-11-21 got there late about 9pm to pick up a package I order, the customer service lady was do rude and nasty older woman,so I ask to speak to the manager and explain I come from far can they please assist me and explain my grand baby bike is her and I come from a 2 hour drive.As Im explaining to the manager Jill she closes the door in my face and tell me pickup is close and if you want you can cancel the order.I said wow,but being that I felt so bad I needed to get to my grand baby with her bike she was expecting and bought another bike.This is why people rather but from Amazon 5hen Walmart.Trust me I will always talk bad about this store and make sure get people not to shop her

NEVER shop here !! Absolutely disgusting and very filthy !!A thrift store is cleaner and has more variety and better stocked shelves.. Was there to buy shirts and a few other items.. They were out.. Cashier was very nice but extremely slow.. 2 people ahead of us and it took 35 minutes till she got to our items.. Neither of them had more than 15-20 items.. We had 6 items.. Totally unacceptable..

Had more stock than mt pocono but as usual no one running any registers everything is self check out and you wonder why you have shrink issues. And there are a lot of things out of stock like monster mean bean this is distributed by coka cola they have there own drivers and its made in the USA so why are there no monster mean beans but plenty of coke cola on the shelves

On the morning of 10/26/2021 one can purchase anything BUT you cannot return or exchange... apparently all due to the system being down.

This is one of the most overstocked Walmarts I have ever seen, great clearance section with all the overstock.

Love shopping at Walmart, it has everything that I need. Love the prices. The store is always clean and the food is fresh.

Large like all super Wal-Marts. It was crowded but the lines moved well. Found everything I was looking for and this one had ⛽. So happy for that. I didnt have to drive around looking for a gas station.

Its a typical Wal-Mart. Customer service is a bit better in this one compared with or h ers Ive been in. I recommend going there.

Check out lines are quick. Just watch out for self check out. It may not take cash. I shop Friday afternoon, before the weekend rush. Well stocked and organized.

The item I went for showed 7 in stock on the website, but nothing was available in store. Store employee said it’s been showing like this “for months”. So much for Walmart famous supply management!

It was nice and quite when we went on a Monday at 630pm. They had what we were looking for at a very good price.

It is one stop shopping.. the garden center was a little rough...plants were not in good shape but not reduced down either. Would not be worth full price as they so many looked half dead

Had gone there for some seasonal stuff, it was a mess, the rows were trashed, customers are a basically the fault, not the employees. they work hard to keep the store organized but the customers are slobs and ignorant, toss stuff around, leave things everywhere

It was Walmart, what more can I say.Most of us have noticed some selves being empty.We want things back to normal, but theyre not.Walmart closes at 11pm, but its better than last year.

I like to shop early. So Im at Walmart by 6:00 a.m. . They never ever have an open lane. (I have stopped shopping there-go to Giant accross the street) They expect me to self-checkout. I refuse to self check out at any store so you can charge me money and have me do my own work. You need to keep your employees. Pay them better. Have people at the register 24/7 to take care of us. Walmart shame on you. You got more money than God. Hire some check out people!!

Big store. I was thoroughly impressed by the organic produce selection they have a lot. 👌 This store also surprised me because they carry my FAVORITE Salsa! Two Ugly Mugs. Havent found any other stores out East that carry it yet. Family owned company from Pittsburgh must try. It starts sweet before you get just the right amount of heat. Only reason this store didnt get 5 stars was a shelves were a little under stocked during my visit. I was there later on 8:30 pm and may have just been in between stockings but really no other complaints. Store was clean. Wouldnt hesitate to shop here.

At 10am there is only one cashier? Brought it to a few employees attention and they just shrugged and said that the next shift hadnt come in yet. One said..you are lucky that I am here...otherwise thered be none.

Filthy dirty store. Aisles were a mess and understocked. Self check out does not tell you you cannot pay cash before you start scanning. Bags are thin and useless. Sad to see that this is what we have to shop at. During COVID store looked decent.

Love to help that they give you when you in there and you are really have no clue about some of the items and then they explain it all down to you like making it to expert.

Very happy with this trip. Although the parking lot was pretty full, the isles were not overly crowded. I was looking for an item I couldnt find. The staff member I asked for help, was very helpful. This was first or second trip since covid started.

I hate the fact that only self checkout lines where open. For the love of mankind open up checkout lines that are run by humans. Talking with staff helps make a pleasant experience. Cause I dont work at Wal-Mart and shouldnt have to check myself out. I should send you a bill for my services.

I ordered online, got confirmation to pick up by 7/17, I went 7/17 AM and they had returned it, for the second time!!! Same thing happened on previous order for same item!!! They dont have item in Walmart near me, they wont deliver item so twice I wasted gas, time, patience!!😝😲😜

I was VERY disappointed when shopping today. My husband & I decided to go in for a few personal items (undergarments), as well as some craft supplies and cleaning products. The womens undergarment section had MANY packages open and 1 item removed (underpants, socks), and the bra section was a mess! (Pkgs open, wrong sizes in boxes, etc). Spent over $80 and felt like I was in a ghetto store.

Was really looking forward to this... Ordered a variety of food here but due to the overabundance of salt I could not fully enjoy any of what we ordered with the exception being the chicken and waffles. Gumbo was very salty. So much so I mentioned it to the manager on duty. Anyone with high blood pressure beware.

OMG This is the actual store that they used as a model for the Cloud 9 store in the TV series Superstore. It has to be, there are just way,way too many similarities for it to be coincidence. Come on down and you too can stand in line for hours and be completely ignored by the employees. (Anyone else remember when you actually had to work in order to be called an employee ?).

I went into Walmart and was able to get what I needed in and out without an issue.

I went in for one thing...I couldnt find it. I tried to ask am employee that was working in the section. He didnt know and gave the excuse that he was new. Then he thought of looking it up in the mobile company tech thing they use for inventory. Multiple people came over interrupting him helping as if I wasnt there (customers will be customers) but my issue is that he completely stopped helping me each time deciding to help everyone else and not letting them know to wait a moment since he was suppose to be helping me....and after the third person, he just decides to brush me off and say I cant help you. I dont live in the area, but when I am there, I will make sure NOT to go back to this location.

Dont bother to sign up for Walmart Plus. Groceries ordered on Sunday for deliver on Thursday never arrived. Tried calling the store 4x. Waited about 4min per time called only to be disconnected each time. All I wanted to do was to inquire about the status of the order.I called their Customer Service Line where the individual informed me that the store couldnt find a driver. Now, he also said that if I wanted to pay an expired delivery i.e. having the groceries deliver today, it would cost me $10.00. I canceled the order.I also tried to have my percriptions sent over to the pharmacy and to have them set to deliver medications from the pharmacy through Walmart +. Called and spoke to a nice lady who said, after me giving all my information regarding old (now back to current) pharmacy and she said it would all be taken care of. When I called to reorder meds another associate told me that there was nothing in my account (i.e. what was promised was never done.So, as soon as the Walmart app can get back into Walmart + (which, of course, is having technical difficulties) will allow me, I shall be canceling the Walmart + subscription (which I was going to go for the annual fee.) I can understand being understaffed and all but with the lack of communication and not being able to reach anyone ... I wouldnt recommend this Walmart. Sadly, I really wanted this to work.

Did an order yesterday for pick up today between 4 and 5 pm got there at 4pm 405 pm I get a text that the order is delayed I wait an hour and a half nothing I call to cancel they said I can cancel but I wont get my money back for 3 to 5 business days they took my money in minutes they messed up but i cant get my money back until they feel like giving it back i will never do another order for pick up i wasted my gas my time and my money...

This Wal-Mart has more on its shelves and options of items then any other Wal-Mart Ive been to lately.

Recently I made the decision to travel 25 additional minutes to frequent the Walmart in Stroudsburg vs the Walmart in Mt Pocono because I have reached my limit.Mt Pocono is CONSTANTLY out of my usual purchases - it’s a coin flip if they have slim Jim’s to my regular cooking spices - to Kraft Mac n cheese to my frozen Stouffer’s lunches I usually purchase - even my ice cream turkey hill mint chocolate chip is almost NEVER in the freezer. When the dog treats and cat litter started becoming unavailable most shopping trips as well I had enough.Let alone the fact that I can never shop my full list THEN pay. No, if I want Q-tips that trip I must wait in line and pay for them before I can continue shopping the rest of the store. Add in the receipt checkers who are 9/10 times, the most annoying encounter of the shopping trip. I just spent 2 hours shopping, already spent 10-15 minutes checking out my q-tips once and another 40 minutes waiting in one of the 3 main lines open… you watched the cashier scan the items under my cart - I saw you watching - if you want me to waste another minute of my life - it will be at my car while I’m loading my groceries into my car…Better yet, it’s no longer a problem. Any of it.Instead of wasting an hour and getting increasingly aggravated that the product I needed isn’t in stock for the 3rd month in a row… I am just driving myself 20 extra minutes down 80 to the Stroudsburg store.I found the employees and customers alike pleasant, personable and helpful.Every.Single.Product.I.Needed.They.Had.In.Stock.Period. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air and an example that Mt Pocono should be striving to emulate. Whomever is ordering/stocking that store + running the loss prevention/hiring of useless jobs that aggravate everyone because we all know the job is pointless except mngmnt..time to re-evaluate those management skills or lack thereof.As a customer of 3 1/2 years, this has been a steadily growing issue for over a year - before the pandemic -so while obviously the pandemic created its own issues and hurdles - I refuse to accept that as an excuse. This is a pattern of letting your stock be repeatedly depleted in between deliveries without ever adjusting your orders of inventory to accommodate the demand. Try to find some steak rub on the 2nd week of the month- good luck finding typical garlic seasoning let alone a McCormick steak rub…. The entire spice rack display has been just shy of empty for over 2 years!!! It’s a complete crapshoot if you are going to be able to purchase basic spices - as is the frozen entrees… unless it’s pizza, White Castle or waffles - always in pristine full stock for some weird reason…🤦🏼‍♀️It just occurred to me-Maybe the person in charge is a bachelor or she doesn’t cook/grocery shop for themselves/family… that’s the vibe at Mt Pocono Walmart- working obliviously hard at where to move certain products to look nice and appear as if your guarding the bath bombs and q-tips with extra gusto boosted by a completely ridiculous and incredibly inconvenient pay here procedure yet they’re obviously clueless as to which items are in need of an increase in stock so to maintain a reliable and consistent shopping experience for the customers. Pst THAT is yer job!How about stocking Campbell’s cream of chicken soup, it’s kinda popular and is commonly purchased…. As are pot roast seasoning packs -without a bag- thanks - I know it’s more profitable for you however it’s a waste of money to a shopper like me when you can’t carry common items in their simplest and most commonly purchased form so I’m either forced to go without or spend and extra $1 and change for a bag I’m never going to use just so I have the seasoning you refuse to stock without the bag like every other East coast grocery store does from Florida to Maine…Hopefully I’ve expressed the fact that this isn’t your average “the cashier looked at me funny review”-In short: avoid Mt Pocono Walmart and just come to Stroudsburg Walmart -save yourself a TON of avoidable aggravation.

Note: I am rating this based on the houseplants selection. Poor selection of houseplants. They were practically dying in the garden center from no being over- and underwatered (2021). They mostly had the typical succulents and Peperomia, which were not in great shape.

Couldnt find a nail file, nail polish remover and a few other items. This place is hit or miss. Not reliable at all. Poorly stocked EVERY TIME! 2 cashiers opened EVERY TIME!

I always appreciate Walmart prices, however I was surprised to see the gallon of spring water was 80 some cents whereas in the state previous it was only $0.60!

I dont know whats happening at this location but the shelves are half empty. Theyve already started doing like some other locations - eliminating manned registers and replacing with self check outs. But it is ALWAYS crowded at this location. I was happy to see they now have self service Pennsylvania lottery machines.

Staff miss lead me on where to find my grocery item twice (two separate staff). The auto parts section was empty despite online saying they had what I needed. Might have rated lower, but Im trying to be understanding about pandemic supply shortages / uncertainty about stock....

Everybody is understaffed, spare the excuses. The issues are more from mismanagement than they are staffing. Having a group of unhelped customers who have already paid for their orders growing more and more irate while 2-3 employees are standing 20-30 feet away smoking cigarettes while in uniform is what some people call: a bad look.

Walmart supermarket ıs good and big market in USA everywhere. You can find any thing you are finding.

Once again where is the stock? Candles, towels, sheets and comforters. Not everyone can use scan and go!!! But then to add insult to injury only 1 cashier is available. Wake up Walmart..please find another way to save money!

Not going to lie, its walmart. You really cant expect greatness from here. One thing I really find strange is that, sometimes, not even the machines show up to work. Ive never seen more self-checkout registers closed with the lack of real life cashiers at their disposal. Not to mention that it seems like a lot of the employees have just no motivation left to work.
