Really nice quality, hard wood pieces you cant find many other places. More expensive than chain stores, but thats to be expected for the higher quality. Overall very happy with our purchase.

The salesperson was very helpful but not pushy as some are. I saw a chair I loved (red leather recliner),my son called the store, described the chair and it was delivered within a few days!

Poor quality of furniture. Went here because its family owned and made in the USA, what a mistake. The chair I bought a few years back, is lop sided. Thought it was me until someone else noticed it. The back section leans to one side. Just bought a couch a few months back and the same thing. The one section of the couch leans inward. Its not flush like the other section. We also noticed they used 2 different brackets were the sections connect. So needless to say, I lean inward when sitting.

Sales people went a above and beyond to find us exactly what we were looking for.ONLY store that offered to take away old furniture at a Very Reasonable price.This store ACTUALLY had furniture that did not require waiting 24+ weeks to get. They had and ARE delivering our furniture NEXT WEEK!Cant say enough good about the store and the family that own it!Very comfortable shopping experience, plenty of sanitizing equipment and made it very easy to social distance.Will be buying Again here.

I ordered 2 sofas and 2 loveseats at the end of December 2019. I paid a lot of money for them. They were delivered on January 29, 2020. Within a few months, the bottom and back cushions flattened out and the fabric was fraying. At that time we were in COVID lockdown and the store was closed. I was finally able to contact the store in the summer of 2020. I spoke to Jud, the owner, and he sent his repairman, Frank to my home to look at the damage. He agreed that the furniture needed more stuffing and told me he was ordering it. We waited many months to hear back and during that time the fabric began to fray. When I informed Jud of this, he decided to order new bottom cushions for the furniture instead of stuffing. Finally inApril of 2021, Frank came and replaced all the bottom seats of the sofas and loveseats. When he left, we noticed that the back cushions still were flattened and needed more stuffing. I immediately emailed Jud and informed him of this. He answered the email telling me he would have to speak to Frank. That was the last time I have heard from him. I emailed him several more times but have not heard back. It has been 3 months. Jud was very responsive in the beginning and replaced the seats of the furniture but has ignored me about the backs. I am not happy with the quality of this furniture even though they replaced parts because I see the same flattening out beginning to happen again. I was assured by Jud when I purchased this furniture that it was a good brand and would hold up. I find that not to be the case. I am also upset that Jud is now ignoring me. I cannot recommend this store.

I love that the furniture at Sawmill is so customizable because we aren’t interested in power recliners or a loveseat with cup holders. I mention these two features specifically because it was nearly impossible to find a couch/loveseat set without those features at the big box stores.Christy, the salesperson who assisted us, was great! She provided the shopping experience I like best. She allowed us to look around on our own, but was readily available to answer all of our questions. I don’t like being pressured into buying things and Christy made us feel comfortable as we looked around. That being said, she also treated us as serious buyers. As a young couple, we are often overlooked by sales people in larger stores. I would highly recommend Sawmill over big store competitors any day.

I love my furniture from Saw Mill! Our sales person Christy was amazing! Due to Covid, our couch took longer than expected, however she kept us in the loop the entire time and got us delivery as soon as it arrived in the warehouse. One piece was delivered with a very small scratch. Immediately she scheduled a technician to come to the house and fix it at no cost! Now you can’t see the scratch at all. I would highly recommend Saw Mill and I will definitely buy from them again.

I would highly recommend Sawmill Furniture. Jud was very helpful and knowledgeable. He really took his time going through options and pricing with us and we felt neither rushed nor pressured at any point. The place is also alot bigger than it seems from the outside and has a variety of furniture to choose from.

Bought 2 queen bed sets. The first delivered was what we purchased. Three weeks later the second queen set was delivered, this set was not what we purchased. So the $1200.00 spent for the 2 queen sets was not what we paid for and not happy with the second queen set at all. Very hard mattress like,sleeping on a rock. Not a happy customer at all.Since this post they contacted me and are working to solve the problem of the bed. I am pleased with the promptness. Thank you Saw Mill Furniture. I grew up in the Poconos, and after searching the North Jersey area for our first piece of real furniture (sorry college IKEA couch), we decided to go back to my hometown and see what Sawmill had to offer.For items we had liked in other stores, we found similar styles in Sawmill that felt a bit more sturdy. Then we started seeing style we hadnt seen in other stores.The employees at Sawmill are fantastic. They explained when we had questions but didnt breath down our necks or try to sell us something we werent interested in like the chain stores. The options for fabric as well as pillow design were great.We did our own pick up at the store. Our order was delivered to the store earlier than we had anticipated and we were able to load it up easily with the help of the staff.I would definitely recommend and return myself, to Sawmill.

The purpose for my trip was a mattress, but ended up falling in love with a recliner. This place is a small hidden gem. The place is easy to miss. I recommend using a GPS. This is a small furniture store. Therefore you wont have a huge selection like the mainstream stores. furniture is arranged closely together. I would recommend attempting to push a stroller. If youre looking for the upscale flashy style furniture. This place is not for you. If youre cheap and think a living room set for 499 is amazing not the place for you. The furniture is made in the USA. Everything I touched was solid and very sturdy. I really cant get over the high end quality with good prices. Most of the furniture is contemporary style. They have a few rustic pieces, but not a lot. I purchased the catnipper magnum. Its an oversized recliner that vibrates and heats. The online price ranged from 701-899 +tax. There price was marked down to 649. I caught the we pay the taxes sale. Mary Ann was very pleasant to work with. She worked with me on the price we agreed to 600 total. They covered the taxes. No pushy salesman that stalk your every move. Upon welcoming us she offered refreshments, explained the layout of the store and told us where to find her if we needed help. I didnt feel rushed nor pressured into looking at something I didnt like. They have more living room furniture than bedroom and dining room furniture. Good place to visit if you want good quality and American made.

After moving to PA a couple of years ago I was faced with decorating my new Townhouse. I purchased all my furniture at Saw Mill Furniture in East Stroudsburg. The help was fantastic, came to my home and helped me with what I needed. The furniture itself was terrible. The fabric did not hold up at all, and had to be replaced sooner than I ever had to replace furniture before. Most of the wood pieces lost there luster. The service repaired the pieces by spraying the table tops with a clear spray paint. And I would like to state this was not bargain priced furniture, I paid top dollar. What was told to me to be the guarantee was not so - I was stuck. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Bought a lot of furniture from this store, most of which was good, but not long after we began using our kitchen table one leg fell off and some water was spilled on the night tables, and even after being dried right away the wood surface started peeling. It looked quality but was made cheaply.

We had a sectional sofa delivered in March of this year. Last night somehow my son disconnected a section of it. We called them after noon today, they said they would write up a work order. We got a call a little after dinner asking if it was ok if they came up tonight or if we wanted to wait till tomorrow. The guy came tonight and had it fixed in 5 minutes. Very happy with couch and service.
