I love pocono candle. You find things you wouldnt expect to find there. Its not just candles, but there are a lot of homemade candles with beautiful scents. My favorite are the floating flower candles. You can float them in a wine glass or a bowl as a center piece on a table. We used them for the 16 candles at my daughters sweet 16 and they were beautiful.

Best candles in the NE better than Yankee candle and cheaper also the burn time on the candles is excellent try the double scented 28 oz jars my favs are double scented evergreen and Christmas tree makes the house smell like Christmas all year long they also have a vast inventory of gifts and special occasion items go and you wont be disappointed

The best scented candles and incense youll find anywhere! You name the scent and they have it. You can make your own candles here too! They have the coolest merchandise. I can see this as the place to go around the holidays. If you havent checked it out, do so and youll see what Im talking about...

I live outside of Annapolis Maryland but we come up to the Poconos at least once a year. So Ive been coming here for over 15 years just for their candles. In my opinion they are better than Yankee!!! I just left here and had a Great conversation with the owner and look forward to seeing him next time.

Found a pretty gift for a great friend at this place today. We have been searching for a sign for our wall, but they didnt have it.

New owners have taken over since we were last here and then the pandemic hit. This was one of the best candle shops in the Poconos, and after talking with the new owners I think its on its way back to being that again. Stop in and give them a chance they need your support.

I remember coming here when I was little. It was magical to me then. There was such a variety and really unique candles. Everything smelled so good. Now everything looks, smells, and feels old. Stale. Wont be going back anymore. I couldnt find anything worth spending my money on.

Great candles made on-site with some really neat scents. I got Apple Pie and Hickory, which smells like smoking meats! Worth checking out if youre in the area.

I have a lot of childhood memories of this place. It was nice to be in the area to shop by. Was able to find some candles to take home for gifts. It was nice to find some neutral scented candles for men too.

We moved down south, NC, to be exact. They THINK what they label candles down here are truly candles. They are only wax with a flavor . I have NEVER had a good candle since the last one we purchased at Pocono Candle. I can never burn a candle which fills the room with fragrance like I can with these candles. Therefore, as soon as I finish this post Im treating myself to REAL candles again, Pocono Candles. Thank you for a candle way above the test!

Normally we only buy soy candles, but decided to give these regular ones a try. They smelled great in the store when not burning, the double scent makes them as strong as normal candles. We bought several different ones in different sizes. Weve burned about 4 of them, NO SMELL!!! Nothing, nothing at all! We let them burn for hours, still nothing! Standing right next to them and no smell even then!! Im pissed we bought so many for them to suck! Plus, they arent cheap! What we paid for them was the same price we pay for the soy candles we get at a better mountain town in California and those candles arent double scented but even the smallest votive fills a large room with wonderful smells!! Ill never buy these candles again, Im gonna cut my losses and toss them out! Seriously, dont buy these crappy things! Order online from The Spruce Moose in Idyllwild, CA, you honestly wont be disappointed!

Not often have I gone to a candle shop to waste time on a rainy day. But this one is great. It is very touristy/souvenir-esque but has a lot of homemade and unique scents for you to try. You can also make your own candles for a few bucks.

I was very excited to visit this novelty store but the candle scents seem very concentrated. When we lit them, I got a headache.

So glad the place is back up and running full time again.

The quality of the sense and the candles is lousy. They smell good in the store but when you burn them at home you cant smell them. Dont waste your money its not worth it Yankee smells a lot better and the prices are just as good

A while ago, I got the evergreen scented candle and absolutely loved it because it was so strong smelling. However, I ordered a cranberry candle online, and when I received it, it smelt like cough syrup. So gross, hopefully returns are easy.

Good place for purchase of candles and collectibles... not made at candle shop... as other candle store in Poconos.... but if you want name brand go here.. a sad note though... caution on candy as a lot of candy is not its former quality... and lots and lots were stale!!! At over 3.00$ a pound ... very disappointed

While the candles are cheaper and smell longer than Yankee candle their staff leaves something to be desired in customer service. The woman working behind the counter was nasty to my daughter. My daughter was going to buy something and the woman told her not to touch it. She is 12 and wasnt going to break it. I will not shop there again

Pocono Candle also carries Dansko shoes. The woman in charge of this section of the store is AMAZING! I purchased my very first pair of Danskos from her a year or so ago. This shoe brand was recommended by my podiatrist. First of all, she is VERY knowledgeable about the shoes and styles that they carry. She spent a LOT of time helping me find just the right size and style for me. I bought two pairs of shoes on that first visit. After I got them home and started wearing them, I noticed that one of the pairs was hurting my feet. The other pair quickly became my FAVORITE pair of shoes. I brought the pair that hurt my feet back to her months after the purchase without a receipt, and she exchanged them for a new, more comfortable pair with no questions asked. She handled my problem beautifully, and has the sweetest customer service manner Ive ever seen! As anyone knows, Dansko shoes are fairly high-priced shoes, but Pocono Candles prices matched the online prices I saw for the shoes I bought. They also have a pretty extensive clearance section. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing shoes from Pocono Candle because of the saleswoman who manages the Dansco section. Shes WONDERFUL!!!

My wife and i have been shopping here for years and gladly make the 2 hour trip once a year at christmastime. Staff has always been good to us and the quality of the candles is top notch.
