Rude staff. Don’t even bother giving them your money and just order online. The should learn to hire friendly people that know what they are talking about. Not ones that get angry when you just want to be pay for your stuff and leave.

Ive always enjoyed going to Gamestop ever since I was a kid but more recently my opinion towards this company has soured. Back when the PS5 came out, I was lucky enough to pre-order one. When the day came to pick it up, I went to Gamestop excited to grab my new system. I got there and went straight up to the register to get my transaction underway. Most of my experience went off without a hook until it came time for the employee to try and upsell me. Using their usual tactics, they offered to sell me a power up subscription cause yada yada yada you know their whole schpeal. I politely said no but the employee continued to grill me about all the benefits I would miss out on. I again said no and the transaction continued. He asked for my email, which I assumed was procedure, we wrapped up the exchange, and I was sent on my way with my PS5 in hand. It seemed like a regular experience until a few days later when I received an online copy of game informer in my email. Puzzled as to why I got an email for a game informer, I looked back at my receipt and, sure enough, the employee had snuck a $15 power up rewards card into the transaction. It has now been a few months since then and I still recieve emails for my subscription and have had to contact customer service three times now to cancel/delete my account yet I still get emails??? On top of all of that, they couldnt even reimburse me my $15. The whole thing has been one giant head ache and I will never be shopping at Gamestop ever again.

The manager of this particular store is outstanding. Both times I have come in he has been assisting another customers but still ensured that he answered any question we had while still carrying on a Respectful conversation with the previous customer. Not only that but he was also extremely knowledgeable about his products and even convinced us to pre-order a copy of Mystery Dungeon coming out soon as well as purchase the warranty on our controller. Top notch professionalism and customer assistance at this location for sure. I 100% will be coming back

Im always so impressed with how helpful the staff are. Its amazing how a customer can see that the employees are passionate about their jobs, and it shows here. Not only are you purchasing a game, but youre getting helpful back-story info about the game if you havent played past games leading up to the one being purchased. Buying in-store is a unique and fun experience.

Mario is absolutely outstanding at running his store. Every time I come by the store looks clean and updated. Not to mention Im a bit of a novice when it comes to video games and I always feel as if Mario goes above and beyond to make sure that I understand the game Im getting and feel good about it moving foward. Probably the best customer service I have ever received at a walk in store like this.

I have completely given up shopping at this store. They are rude when you ask anything a pro gamer wouldnt know. I can and will just continue to order everything online. I love being able to support local businesses but I cant do it at gamestop anymore.

If you EVER want to buy or sell physical copys of video games dont come to a GameStop! I have worked at a GameStop for over 2 years and I am disgusted by the complete disrespect for the customers and the gaming industry, you will get nothing for a trade-in or selling a game and the prices of preowned games are completely outrageous. No sale that this company every has will be even close to the deals you can find online buying digitally.

This is our go-to place to buy video games. The folks that work there are that perfect storm of friendly, knowledgeable and laid back where you feel like if you have a question or want to chat about games that they can give awesome advice, but without the hard sell you get at some places.The shop is small, but it uses the space well and its very attractive with a few carefully chosen bits of geek merchandise and apparel around the center of the shop with the library of games around the outside. They have a ton of used games too, and systems and controllers too. And then they have the big bargain bin in the front--where you can find games youve heard of for crazy prices. $5 down to as low as $2. They also have their TV going in the back pretty much all the time with a show that features previews, reviews and news about video games. Its genuinely good and as often as not I find myself just standing in the back just watching TV.

I dont know where to begin on how terrible GS has become. They are nowhere near as good as they used to be years ago.I went in to get a few used games, and only one employee was visible. However, he was more interested talking about hot chicks, mentioned how a woman in the store was a hottie and other things than work. Their loud and annoying ads playing over the entire store is obnoxious. Their selection of used games is pathetic. There was a line growing longer, and the employee couldnt seem to focus on doing a task. When I was the next person in line, his speech was fast and slurred, which was hard to understand. I just wanted to pay and get out.

Need to update somethings but other wise big selection

So We go to game stop today so my son can buy an Xbox one with all the money he has been saving. We pay and no receipt prints out. They are telling my husband we can’t leave yet because they don’t know if the transaction went through. I check my mobile account and it shows that our account was charged. I show them and they say that for some reason it is showing in their system that they still own it so we have to pay for it again or we can’t leave with it. I was like that makes no sense, my account has already been charged I’m not paying for it again. Then they say we would be refunded the 1st transaction in 24-48 hrs. I was like “no, I will not pay for it twice because your system is jacked up”. So then they tell us we can leave if we want but we can’t take the Xbox. I was like my account was charged and I am not leaving with out this Xbox, I paid for it, it’s mine. To make this long story Short after 30 minutes of arguing, 2 phone calls to whomever the manager was calling and me totally loosing my temper, we finally got to leave with my sons Xbox just with no receipt. I will seriously never go to game stop again. Worst customer service ever!

Sold me an item at full price as new despite having clear signs of having been opened. Noticed when I got home. Ill just order items elsewhere or wait for shipment from online orders.

1/23/2014 - I did contact Game Stop about this order. It was fully researched, Todd got back to me and explained what happened. This issue was resolved. I did get my answers on what happened, details are not needed, simply put this was taken care of. I will return and continue shopping at this store, I am very happy Game Stop took the time to look into this and give me a definate answer on what happened. I am also very happy with the promptness on the reply, less than 24 hours they got back to me. Thank you Game Stop for changing my view of your store and getting back to me :)My original review with some anger behind it:Worst experience ever, do not pre-order anything from this place. Almost two months later, I paid in full and still do not have the item I purchased. I went to the manufactuer, purchased what I wanted and was mailed to me in two days. More than likely it came in and one of the employees kept it.

Terrible customer service!! When we asked to speak to a manager, low and behold he was it!! Very pompous and terribly rude!! Never ever going here again. And as a mother of four teenage boys they lost a substantial amount of business.

Purchased a replacement PS4 controller for my original because the original rubber wore off the sticks/. Replacement lasted maybe 2 months and this time the actual controller went bad. I give the store credit for replacing the controller after the 30 day replacement was up (thank you) I was not impressed by one of the clerks who told me this was my third controller and they wont replace it again. Basically thinking I was someone else who apparently has a habit of buying and replacing. Before accusing check the facts(my account). Wont be shopping at this Game Stop any more.
