MAVIS AGAIN TO THE RESCUE! Went in with a tire issue and they helped me. The workers and the staff they were so nice and courteous. They took their time to explain to me that my tire had a bubble on the inner wall and I had to replace it. Even tho it took a bit long, the experience was a pleasant one and I was on my way. I will always choose Mavis over any shop. Kudos to Store Manager Victor and his awesome team.

I had a small leak for the longest time in my tire. I was told it needed to be sealed. Will and the service man was so nice. They really helped me. It so happened that I had a hole in the tire. They were not only courteous and knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Thank goodness for them in this day and age. They really love their jobs.

I love this shop! Staff is great- friendly and honest, especially Victor. Bonus - they also have a few work stations for those remote people to work on their laptops!

I came in on a Friday night with two blown tires and it was left than an hour before closing. Despite having a full shop of jobs that the team was working on, Will and Augustine took great care of me with two new tires in 45 minutes. Really above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks guys.

I used to like Mavis. They were my go to. Until today. I scheduled an appointment for 11 am for a tire purchase and an oil change. First, when I arrived, they tried to tell me that I didnt have an appointment for a tire purchase and that they would try to fit it in. Their tone quickly changed to I just misunderstood them when I showed them the screenshot of the appointment. Then, they tell my husband and I that they will call when the car is ready. We wait ALL DAY and when we didnt hear anything, we called. No answer. So my husband drives a family members vehicle up there only to be told that if we want our car we will have to pay cash for it tonight. See they wont use their credit card anymore today after claiming that surely someone tried to call us. Except NO ONE called me or my husband. So theyre basically holding my car hostage tonight because they never picked up a phone to call us. Customer service sucks. Wont be back.

I have been a customer at the Eastchester location for many years, Pete has been the Manager up until recently. I was very concerned until I met a dealt with Victor. Victor is great and I am happy that he has the great customer service care and thoughtfulness as Pete!

Notwithstanding the long wait, as Mavis in Eastchester was extremely busy today, Victor deserves honorable mention. His professionalism and willingness to help the customer is totally evident and second to none. Today was my first visit to this particular center. It will not be my last. Victor made the long wait for my oil change & inspection completely worthwhile. Kudos and a special shout out to this man. We need more individuals like Victor in the customer service position he is in!!! Victor even provided me with a discount for the services Mavis rendered!!

Got a surprise flat tire as we headed out for vacation! We were brought in and taken care of immediately. The attendant, Will, felt our stress and got us right back on the road with an excellent deal on the tires as well. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Mismanaged. Dishonest. Apathetic. After receiving a quote by phone and assured that a set of 4 tires would be installed that day, dropped off the vehicle at 10:15 am and told it would be ready between 2p-4p. Called the shop at 5pm and told they were still working on the car (a lie) and when pressed, the person on the phone said it would be ready the next day. I arrived at the shop and my car had not been touched. No acknowledgement of the inconvenience - just excuses about how much work they have and not enough staff (mismanagement). Asked for the manager- of course, he wasnt there. Unprofessional and incompetent. Patronize this spot at your own risk.

Made a reservation through THEIR website for an inspection. Called to confirm and they say they don’t have an inspector on staff. Pretty simple question - why are you taking appointments online for a service that you don’t have the ability to deliver?

Brought my sons car in with a flat. Upsell begins immediately. They tell me I need 2 new tires brakes and rotors or else I won’t pass inspection. After brake job the brakes make a horrible squealing noise. Car goes back and they tell me that’s normal. Take car for second opinion and find out Mavis installed the brakes incorrectly and they are permanently damaged. Now I have to pay for new brakes and labor at another shop. Return brakes and rotors to Mavis and I’m waiting 40 days for my money back. I have called and gone to the shop 5 times and they won’t help. Keep giving me the runaround. Horrendous customer service and highly questionable business tactics. Avoid this business at all costs - find a local repair shop that cares about their customers.

The staff and service at Mavis of Eastchester was outstanding. The did an amazing job and I managed to get a mothers day discount. My car was done in a timely fashion and I was called to come and pick it up so quickly. The manager is amazing. He is a great asset to your company. 👍🤗 Thank you very much.

Normally the service here is good. But yesterday i had an appointment, left the car the whole day. Never got a call so i went to the shop just before closing. They never worked on my car. They said they were busy..but i had an appointment. The manager was going to bring my car in and i said forget it..i didnt want the service rushed. I scheduled an appointment with my dealer instead. I think they had new staff there. Wasnt pleased.

I went to mavis in port Chester didnt have the tire so they called mavis in east Chester and they had it so i drove up to east Chester got here with them waiting for me to get here. Excellent customer service. Will and victor great workers and right on the ball.

Came to this location with a knocking noise in my car. Not only were they able to fix my issue but the manager (Victor I think his name was) offered me multiple solutions and explained it to me. That’s the customer service that we need out here! If I could I would give this place and his team 10 stars. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

I went into Mavis with a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon. They were very busy however Andrew took the time to take of me and had a worker remove the tire to put the spare. Andrew explained they were busy so he’d keep the flat tire, would check it the next day and would call with the findings. He did call the next day and they were able to repair the tire. I went in and as soon as I arrived he put the repaired tire back on and put the spare back in my truck. All for a very small cost. I was grateful for the assistance I received and would go back there again if needed.

I took my Moms car in for a random service because her back tire was running on something. I am so glad I met with Victor and Andrew and they were so pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone.. thank you Victor and Andrew. See you soon!

Ive used a couple of Mavis centers over the years but these guys Andrew and Victor stand out. Very polite, super efficient. And I had a flat tire and they repaired it free of charge, WHAT? Yup! I highly recommend this location!

They get it done, but never on the first try. Always something to followup on after a service. They do try and make up for the inconveniences, so kudos to their service!

These five stars is for Desmond at the front desk. Came with a problem from another Mavis (Larchmont) and this gentleman was very professional, showed him a video of the problem( Larchmont did not want to see proof since they brushed it off saying they put in new rotor and brake ) Desmond raised his eyebrows and told me that sound was not normal, but he helped me and all it took waa 5 min to check it out. Larchmont only needed 5 min to just do the same thing but decided to just pushed this problem to another Mavis. Thank you Desmond

I gave one star because ZERO wasnt offered, but even zero is too much. I stopped in to order a tire a day in advance of having it changed. The salesperson, Will, was completely dismissive of myself and another customer in front of me. After he deemed it time to do his job and serve us, he was uncourteous, short and again, dismissive. He said he never heard of my model tire, and had to call the tire experts to find one. You work at Mavis, its a tire store. He was shocked to find out that my model tire (which was on my car) actually did exist. Out of desperation, i made an appointment to return the next day, and hoped that he wouldnt be there. The following day I returned to drop my car. He was there, and just as discourteous as ever. With my appointment I waited for only 2 hrs and 40mins for them to put the car on the lift! By the way, I had my 6 and 4yo kids with me, so no rush, right? After more than. 3hrs and $366 dollars to replace one tire I left. Eastchester Mavis is the worst branch in the franchise. I use others when not a necessity to go to Eastchester. This isnt even the first bad service Ive had at Eastchester. Its the worst.

Went to Mavis to replace my flat tire. Was pleasantly surprised when I was told that they were able to repair it. Wait time was not long at all. Victor, who assisted me, went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

Did fast tire repair for $27. Tried to upsell shocks and struts with well beyond mfgr recommended replacement date. Bill noted that I refused brake inspection They didnt press too hard, but clearly its a strategy you should expect to encounter.

On Saturday, I went to the store from 8:10 in the morning to wait for a new tire and oil on the left front wheel. I waited for nearly two and a half hours before it was my turn. I replaced the new tire and oil, and I rushed Go to Work. After several days of use, I found that the clerk did not solve my problem very well. The car would cross to the right when it shifted in a straight line. When the car was driving at high speed, the vehicle shook a lot. After replacing the tire with a completely new one, the clerk It didnt help me to do the four-wheel alignment. I dont know if it was caused by the replacement of new tires. After all, I am not a professional repairer. What is even more exaggerated is that I saw that the license plate numbers on my receipt are all wrong, not my license plate numbers.

Service was fine and price was fine as far as I know but the wait time was RIDICULOUS. I had a reservation which was confirmed over the phone however my car was seen 1.5 hours after my reservation time. A member of the staff rudely let me know that apparently to them a reservation was not the same as an appointment.... so I hope they have an appointment next time they go to a restaurant?? Makes no sense, it is the same thing. The reservation was booked online through their site and the appointment was confirmed though an autogenerated email from them. Seems like it was just an excuse for them mismanaging their time and staff. They also literally just forgot to check my oil even though it was one of the services requested on the original reservation and verbally at arrival. All in all I was there for 4.5 hours and wasted an entire day, and didn’t even get my oil changed. Andrew was very nice and helpful so props to him and the only reason for the 3rd star. Otherwise would have given this place 2 stars.

Front desk guys, Andrew and Desmond, are nice. However, the person that work on my car opened my glove box and pulled out all my stuff on the floor and on the passenger seat . He also left the tools set in my trunk laid out without replacing the lug nut key. Destroyed my N95 Covid mask. This is the first and last time I will take my car there.

I recently had a bad experience with the manager named Victor at the Mavis in Eastchester. I did brakes on my car couple months ago when Pete was the manager at the time. My car started shaking when I braked so I went back there and told the manager about the issue and he basically told me that he can’t help me because he wasn’t the one that did the job and that he would lose money. (Even though Pete put warranty on breaks) So he told me that the only thing he can do is reorder the parts for me and I can take them to where Pete is so Pete can do it for me since he was the one that did the job originally. Also he wanted me to bring the old parts back to him so he can send them back to the store they purchased it, and that’s what I ended up doing which was a waste of my time! I was very upset because I used to work in Eastchester and I’ve been a loyal customer to Mavis for years and after having to go through all that I’m never going back to that store ever again because that was ridiculous.

Mavis discount was an absolute pleasure to do business with. They solved my car issue after a thorough assessment. Excellent communication. Thank you Victor and all at Mavis in Eastchester!

I had a nail in my tire. Simple plug repair. I brought it in at noon on Sunday. They told me it would likely be done at the end of the day (5:00pm) or, if not, they would do it first thing Monday morning when they opened (8:00am). They would call me when it was ready.By 9:30am Monday I still had not heard from them, so I drove over. At this point, they had been open for almost 2 hours, but no one was working on any of the cars. The workers were just hanging out. I went into the office and was told they were busy but theyd probably get to it today.I told them forget it, give me my tire and Ill go somewhere else to get it fixed. Now I find out they dont know where the tire is. I had to go searching through the shop to find my tire. I took it to a much better shop, where it was repaired and re-mounted in less than 10 minutes, while I waited.

I needed 4 new tires and Andrew helped me out. I was very pleased with the service I received and the manner I was treated. I will definitely use them again.

They broke the cover and didn’t fix it, and didn’t tell me. When it was done, I was the one who had to call them. The car was ready long before I got there, yet no one called me to pick up my car.

Waited 15 minutes at front desk and received no service. Its not my job to run around looking for somebody to help me.

Excellent service and I was assisted immediately by a gentlemen of the name Andrew despite the shop being very busy he was able to accommodate me for an oil change ASAP as it was a last minute thing before taking -road trip.

Those are enough reasons, but my loyalty is due to the kindness, honesty and integrity of one service team member, Peter. He always lets me know what I need, and when my budget is tight, what can wait and what cannot wait. Need a car inspection and went to this Mavis around 11am. I’d been to this Mavis before and when I tell you it was a mess, it was a mess. I learned that Victor was the new store manager and it looked like a brand new shop. I was in an out within an hour and everything was beyond professional. Whenever I’m home and need repair service this is the only place I’ll come outside of the Dealer. Victor, Desmond and Andrew are a hell of a team.

If I could give it zero stars I would have. We were on our way from NJ to MA and got a flat on the Henry Hudson Parkway. We had a great tow truck driver put our donut in so we could get off the road but said it wasn’t safe to drive all the way to MA. I found a Mavis tire about a mile away. It was an hour before closing time. We asked about getting a tire and the man rudely told us not today and we told him our situation he said I don’t care, I told you not today. Thankfully I found the Costco 2.2 miles away!!! They were amazing Even if Mavis couldn’t have done the work they didn’t need to be rude. They also could have been a good neighbor and told us about Costco. Skip this place they are the worst and go to the Costco!No need to call. It isn’t about my time being valuable it was about an emergency situation. I was 100 miles from home and another 125 miles from my destination at around 6:45 on a Friday night. I needed a tire since the donut wasn’t safe to go to either destination. The guy told us he didn’t care about our situation. Never will I buy from Mavis and I will tell everyone I know the same thing. Thankfully there were good people who work at Costco

It was the worst experience. I dropped my car there at 12pm on Saturday, April 10 to change just 1 tire of my pick up truck. The website where I made an appointment sai it will take 3 hours for the service be done, and I agreed with it. Now, 3 hours and 40 minutes after, no one even touched in my truck to change the tires and when I called, they said they were working on it but they didnt want to rush the guys. It was horrible, I charged all my schedule today for it and they just didnt care about my car and many others that were there.

Ive been going here for years. Brought my car in last week to fix a slow leak. They said they were too busy, so I scheduled an appointment for first-thing Monday morning. I said that Id walk in the neighborhood while it was being fixed. When I showed up, they said I had to leave the car for the day and insisted I must have talked to the office when I set up appt. If you want to know the truth, Pete said, ask for me. I started to explain it wasnt the office, Pete shot back, See you, and turned to do his paperwork. Its a slow leak ... would have taken a half hour or an hour max. Im guessing they dont need my business ... they sure lost it today. (And dont be fooled by the response below from the owner--it seems to be the stock response telling dissatisfied customers to call. Its merely customer service, promising to have someone call back ... but no one does!)

Great advice--we love Pete! Went there on a whim to get one tire fixed on a car we wanted to sell. Got a great price and it was done within the day. We then brought in our Jeep Grand Cherokee and wanted solid but reasonably priced tires--Pete gave us a great recommendation and we love the tires. Also done efficiently.

I would not recommend dealing with maavis under any circumstance. (The only reason I do is that a bought tires there so tire rotation is complementary). Even if you have a reservation, every visit takes 3 to 4 hours, minimum, for even simple things like rotation and oil change. Reservations are meaningless at maavis

Fast service reasonable price

I have been going to this Mavis for tires for a number of years and have always received good service. Last week, in addition to the tires, I had them perform an oil change on my vehicle. Mistake. Yesterday morning I noticed about a cup of motor oil on the floor of my garage. I took the vehicle to another Mavis location convenient to my travels. They said that a washer had been incorrectly installed. They had to drain and refill the vehicle, which took close to three hours. It blew most of my day.

So Yesterday I made an appointment to do four tires and an alinment for today for 12 oclock. I got one price for $284 then today I asked for the total again to be sure I was told then I need to get a wheel alignment which would bring a total to $384. I got a call today from desmond to come earlier if i could then 12. and I went there at 10 because I was told I wouldnt get my car back till late the next day. so with that being said I dropped it off at 10:00 a.m. and I was told by desman that the car would be ready and they were call me. well I had called at 5 oclock wondering why no call yet and I was told theres no need to call we didnt forget about you will call you once the cars ready Ok. .they close at 6:00 p.m. I call back again and tell them whats going on with my car? I am now then informed that they have 2 cars ahead of me and Im not gonna be able get my car till late tomorrow but if I want my car the keys will be in the car while theyre closed.thats not professional I went there to get my car and I was told thatwere sorry that you can stay here and wait for an hour and theyll work on it And stay late. So When was I gonna be called to let me know that the car would not be ready as of tonight.?customer service horrible. This was unprofessional. Ive been a loyal customer to mavis. Well now they just lost one.

Great great staff and very nice waiting area with work booths to work in should you have to wait for your car to be serviced. Never go on a Friday or Saturday unless you have all day and they are always open, honest, they go the extra mile for their customers all the time. Prices are always fair. Small parking lot so you must always be very early or else your stuck finding parking.

Best place to go for routine maintenance on your car. The prices are fair and I feel that the mechanics and managers are honest mechanics.

Two weeks ago I made an appointment for an oil change for 11am today. I show up on time and the manager Pete was rude and condescending to me. He told me I didn’t have an appointment in his system. I showed him my email on my phone to prove him wrong. He then says, “everyone has an appointment “ I’m a female college student with limited time and funds, I told him I would wait and he then starts trying to sell me a brake fluid flush that I insisted didn’t need to be done. Again, if I wasn’t a young female I don’t feel he would of been so pushy and rude. Long story story, he kept me there for 3hrs to do a simple oil change. I will never go back to this franchise ever! When I threatened to report him he said I don’t care I have 50 cars outside. I don’t need your business. STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP! PETE THE MANAGER IS A BULLY TO YOUNG WOMEN.

Pete is always phenomenal at taking care of me and making my car a priority. They always stay true to their word and they do great work. Nicky the mechanic always takes care of my car and I’ve never had any issues.

Not the Mavis of 10 years ago. Went here to have a run flat tire replaced, after the install, I went to leave, and noticed the wheel weights were not installed properly, they were actually falling off. Went back in, showed the manager, and they brought the car back in and rebalanced the tire. Driving away, the car just didnt feel right. I ended up going to someone else to have the tire balanced properly. Never will I go back to Mavis.

Please don’t ever come here! Plain and simple. Take your business somewhere else unless you want your car messed up .... came here for a simple oil change and they went ahead (specifically Erastus, one of their mechanics) and messed up a gasket and cylinder thus causing oil to leak into the throttle body and engine. When I returned the next day to let the shop know, they completely denied they did anything wrong. The engine late came on IMMEDIATELY after they changed the oil but they “didn’t have the proper equipment “ to scan the car... will never return!

There is nothing good I can write about this company. This particular location is managed by world class con artists . My wife purchased 4 new tires there 6 months ago and spent almost $900 . One tire popped on a pothole so we assumed we had a warranty. The told us no, you want a new tire you have to pay for it. We called Michelin they told us of course we have a warranty. SIX years. Michelin gave us a case number and called Mavis eastchester. They denied they had even received a call. We had to call Michelin right there at Mavis to have those con-men acknowledge they could do something for us. Mavis would only agree to a 45% discount with Michelin even though Michelin had told us that a larger percentage would be covered. In hind sight I now realize i left money on the table and should have pushed Michelin to have Mavis do more.Mavis would not do anything for us because we did not buy the Mavis insurance. It feels like a big F You from them for not buying their insurance which is not needed if Michelin covers you.This is also not the first time i had an issue with Mavis. I had a issue with another location a few years ago. I will never shop at Mavis every.
