Daniel is the most honest, humble, well-behaved and straightforward computer guy i have come across. I had a broken laptop screen and spoke to him over the phone and he advised me honestly what is the cheapest and reasonable solutions we have. I went to his shop and he ordered the screen for me and fixed the screen immediately at a very low price. You talk with him for 5 minutes and you can know that he is really a expert in this field. I was amazed when i found 5 star ratings but after meeting him, i felt he really deserved it. If you have any problems with your gadgets, Daniel is the best person to call.

Recently had my laptop fixed here. I expected to spend a lot of money in repairs and a long wait time, but was remarkably surprised when my repair was simple and inexpensive. The owner takes his time not only explaining the issue and the repair, but also physically shows you on the laptop. I was surprised when I could have taken my laptop home the same day!

This guy is so fair it isnt even funny. He said for my computer to work well Id have to buy a $100 part. But did its not worth it.

This is best kind of place to take your PC for diagnoses. I had an error where the computer could not boot past BIOS; went to Micro Center and the bastards charged me 50$ just to look at only to say systems dead for 200 well do a fresh install. Took my business here for a second opinion within 15 min they had it up and running. Turns out I screwed up the BIOS settings but the owner fixed that easily, he didnt even charge me. Learned my lesson, always take your PC small reputable shops like this one.

Dan is outstanding. Truly passionate about his profession and helping the customer. Saw him twice, first time in store he walked me through the solution with patience and care. 2nd time I called and he had me up and running in a few words. Cant recommend Dan enough!

Would definitely recommend getting your computer repaired with Daniel. He is very qualified. He deals with his customers in an honest and professional way. From personal experience, he has repaired multiple computers for my family with more than reasonable prices. I came in one day to get my screen fixed and was later informed that there was nothing wrong with the screen but with an unattached wire in the computer. He fixed it and charged me nothing! I highly suggest giving Daniel a visit when in need of a repair.

After contacting half a dozen other locations to get estimates on what it’d cost to fix my laptop, Dang This Computer was about a quarter of the price of everywhere else. Daniel was so friendly and helpful. I told him the problem with my laptop and in less than 30 seconds he fixed it! I was quoted a $200 price to fix what he did for free. This is a great place. My computer broke one day, and after spending hours trying to figure out the problem myself, I finally resolved to take it to a repair shop. Im glad I found this place. Daniel took time right when I walked in to look at my computer and try to do a quick diagnosis, explaining what he thought the problem was, and worked to get me the best prices on the parts I needed. The issue turned out to be many failed pieces of hardware, and he rebuilt my computer for the best price and very reasonable labor cost. My Dell laptop began to give me blue screens. I was going to take it to a big box place but decided to try DTC. Dan replaced my hard drive and installed Windows 7 and the computer runs like new! It probably cost less than half of what the big box store would have charged.

Great advice on what should happen regarding a laptop with a bad motherboard. Told me that the motherboard price was around the same as buying a whole new laptop of the same build, and directed me to better ones with my money

I was at a low point last week, feeling defeated. After spilling a glass of water on my 4 year old Lenovo laptop and not discovering it until the next morning, I was frantically trying to find someone to repair my then unresponsive keyboard. I went to Best Buy. Surely Geek Squad must have a reasonable solution, right? Instead, for $150 I could mail my laptop to Geek Squad, let them dismantle it and essentially write a blank check for whatever work needed to be done. The diagnosis certainly wouldnt be free and the Geeks honest advice was to just save the money and buy a new laptop (like throwing this $1700 computer out the window was my best option).I was in denial though. This is ridiculous. My computer had been flawless up until now. Do I really need to just toss it because of a little glass of water? I scoured Google for help. Thats when I found Daniel. I walked into Dang This Computer feeling flustered, while Daniel stood looking calm as ever despite a pile of computers needing repairs stacked behind him and an elderly woman on the phone having him give a step by step walkthrough on how to log into her Wifi. It was at this point I knew I found my new computer sensei.Daniel gave a simple breakdown of what was most likely wrong with the laptop, described what the scope of work could look like, and prepped me for any expenses. Long story short, he got my laptop fixed and returned to me within a week. And thats only because it took a few days for my replacement keyboard to arrive after he personally tracked it down and made sure it would work correctly with my model. Not only that, he had to dismantle the entire computer, swapped out a broken part, cleaned the interior of the computer, and repaired any other water related damage he could. Total cost? $99.Forget Geek Squad. Forget every other computer repair shop. Get to Dang This Computer and talk to Daniel. You wont regret it.
