The Easton Diner was just what we needed. The soup was piping hot. I had beef barley, my husband had the chicken noodle. He ordered a club with ham, Turkey and roast beef. Beautiful presentation and he said it was delicious . I had the Mixed up Philly Cheesesteak with mushrooms, peppers and onions. I got for a side tasty mashed potatoes with gravy for my side. My food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.
Ordered the crab soup. It did have bits and chunks of crab meat but was the consistency of wallpaper paste. Also had the small chef salad which was good as salads go. My business partner ordered the meatloaf dinner and said it was very bland. They close at 8 P.m. but started cleaning up and running a vacuum at about 730 which I found quite tacky. Unfortunately, not impressed either by the waiter and his lack of attentiveness. One and done with this place.
No one paid any attention when we walked in, although there were 10 employees right there in the front. We stood for a good 5 minutes until the cashier told the wait staff to seat us. The wait staff is more interested in wrapping silverware, than paying attention to the customers. The food was okay. Decent portions.
My husband and I ate here Tuesday lunchtime. Its a very charming retro diner. We both started with the chicken noodle soup. Its definitely homemade. I had the hot corned beef sandwich with fries . My husband had the mixed cheese Steak with fries. Everything was very good and hot. The portions were generous. We enjoyed our meals. No room for dessert!
We have eaten there for years. Food is always ok, old timey decor interesting, and service is attentive. NO salad bar but Great pastries for dessert.!
Hostess was more interested in talking on her cell phone rather than seating us - no apology for the wait. Food was average nothing to write home about especially when considering the cost of it. Ordered a piece of chocolate cake it was so dry & crumbly...good thing I had a drink to wash it down. Told the server about it, he said hed tell someone - no apology or discount offered.
Large lunch portions, platters came with salad and two sides, plus ice cream. Reasonably priced. Food was fresh and hot. Biggest draw back was the wait time. 20 plus minutes.
We had breakfast for dinner. One of our favorite meals. We really enjoyed it. The desserts were great looking plus being good. World taking one home with you.
Very good service.much Better than average of diner food. Stop often.
Our server Brittany did a great job. But I did not care much for the food. My husband recently found out he has a gluten allergy and we are finding there are not many places that offer gluten free meals. The Diner is 1 of them.
Great roast beef dinner. Good quality service too. Extremely satisfied.
I had a very good club sandwich. Typical diner menu with a large number of items including salads sandwiches senior meals entrees etc. Very good service
Went twice. 1st visit server was not interested in anything but get in get out. Hostess was very nice. Food was good. 2nd visit server was great. I would prefer they were more careful with cross contamination.
We got there as soon as they opened and the food and service was on point and absolutely delicious.
The food was not the best. Its was cold and some was dried out.
This isnt a great throwback diner! Its the real deal! Had a Florentine omelette (spinach and goat cheese) with home fries. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!
Opened at 6 AM. We were a group of 7. 3 adults 4 small children. This place was wonderful & Jackie took fantastic care of us. Prices are extremely reasonable, lots of delicious food for the price. I highly recommend this place!!
My daughters crab cakes were excellent.I had breakfast and it was ok.Floor was really dirty. The waiter was slow and rude! To top it off noone was at the register to pay after another employee called for someone 4 times.A line had formed.
Great food...horrible service. Today we went to try and eat here. We were told we’d have a ten minute wait since they were busy. We said ok understandable. Everyone in front of us was seated. We saw that 4 tables had been cleared and set. Someone walked in and was seated (same number of people) instead of us.While we waited, the hostess as well as another employee were playing on their phones and ignoring customers.Overall, we were very disappointed in our lack of service, as we really enjoy the food.
Unbeatable price. Delicious breakfast, love the staff. Looking forward to stop by more often.
I had a late lunch at the diner - I dont know why but it was the first time Id been there. Wow! Service was top notch, the food was great and Im not sure I could have eaten more. It was so good I would have, though.
We stopped on the way home from Ocean City and the menu had something for everyone. The food was delicious and our waitress was so friendly. Would definitely stop here again.
Western Omlet was so delicious! Fried potatoes seemed tb made of Yukon gold potatoes 🥔 😋 👌 Yummy & crisp perfectly buttered rye toast Oh & the Local Eastern Shore Coffee GREAT! WB BACK!!!
Food properly cooked. Portions were good. Service excellent. Quickly responded to a large party.
This has become our go-to place to stop when coming home from Assateague or Chincoteague. The service is always good and the food too. I had the chicken cheese steak last time and it was pretty good. My husband had the regular cheese steak and he really liked it. The rolls are so soft and yummy. They had a pretty good salad bar before Covid. The dessert case it pretty good too. The chocolate dipped macarons are delicious! I would recommend this place for a good, quick bite to eat.
I love the service. Great staff. Love the food.
The lady that sat us, never spoke, never smiled, and just waved us to follow her. Older grumpy lady with a burgundy shirt. Apparently, shes a manager or something!🤦🏻♀️But on the up side our waitress was FANTASTIC! The food is EXCELLENT!!
Great food. Friendly, helpful servers(Thanks Jackie!). Great variety.
I recently discovered this place and loved it. Great foods and service.
Been stopping here for years. Always good service and good food. We always eat here when traveling through Easton.
Good food huge portions. We went for breakfast. I had thr omlet and it was so big it was hangingnoff the edges of the plate.
Ate there with my 3 kids yesterday 9/3 and not 30 mins later 2 of them didnt feel well and 1 threw up. Ive spent the entire morning running to the bathroom. I had a breakfast sandwich and they had burgers and cheesesteaks. Please be careful
A great old school diner, on the route from the Eastern Shore. The portions were large and the staff is friendly!! We decided not to do a chain restaurant and try a regular local business!
The food is good I get crab cakes they are 2499 with two sides soup or salad
Great meat lovers omelet!Great service! Will stop again!
Our breakfast was yummy today. Everything was cooked to our liking and the food was hot and tasty. Thanks for serving a good meal to start our day!
I think this place is way over rated. My wife and I ordered 2 different types of breakfast and food looked clean and no foul odor yet once in the mouth, we quickly realized that its not consumable for humans. The staff were friendly and the restaurant looked to be fairly clean. Maybe new cook is needed. 3 star rating is due to friendly staff.
Great Parking. Tables are alittle too small and its dark as hell. Mostly pre-made food. If you sell tea with 🍋 it shouldnt come out a soda fountain. The female waiters are great but the guy needs practice. Get the breakfast food, French Toast.
Really good food, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee cup never got empty.
The food was good and it was hot The Price were very affordable.
Cream of crab soup needed more crab. There was very small amount. The crab melt sandwich was great.
Had dinner at the Easton Diner this evening. Wife had rockfish, and I had eggplant parm. Both dishes were very well prepared and tasted great. I had a bowl of cream of crab soup. It was creamy, and it had lots of crab meat in every spoonful. Susan had an order of vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was a premium ice cream. The service was prompt and accurate. The only reason I didnt give this place a fifth star is that the salad bar doesnt have many options. Thats why I ordered the soup instead of the salad bar.
Well prepared food, nice large servings. The peanut butter pie was to die for.
Stopped in for a late dinner as we were passing through town. Our server was very nice. Our orders came up quickly ... we just the food was better. The food:Country fried steak - obviously frozen and a bit on the greasy side. I went the brown gravy and had it served over my fries instead of my steak which was a good bet (waitress-approved choice also). The Cole slaw was room temperature, on the sweet side, and I didnt eat much of it. The salad bar looked pretty fresh (except for the potato salad which I skipped) - just wish the dressing had been labeled as there two that we couldnt figure out. The husbands BBQ platter was a bit of a joke as the meats were obviously baked then just bathed in way too much BBQ sauce. Thats not BBQ, folks! The desserts that came with the meal with rice pudding and bread pudding. Not really worth the carbs, but they did have some tasty looking treats in the pastry case.Wed give them another chance when in the area again...
Had breakfast there this morning....in the ER now diagnosed with food poison! Had the country fried steak. To nauseous to write anymore.
Server was outstanding. Had breakfast with friends 6/19/21 around 7:30 with very kind, professional, and quick service
Reliable high quality comfort food. Reasonably priced. Fast and good service. Our go to place when traveling the shore.
Good food. Great waiter, no mask. Best meal Ive had since covid.
Havent enjoyed it either time visited.
Driving home from ocean city had breakfast and it was great must try
Breakfast was awrso.e and good prices. Loved it .
Nice people..good food
Definitely not a great breakfast or coffee for $10. IHOP wins hands down.
Excellent customer service and the food was delicious.
After a very long, tiring day when all you want to do is sit down, be comfortable and enjoy a great meal big enough for lots of leftovers, one of my first go-to restaurants in Easton is the Easton Diner! The atmosphere is laid-back and the staff go out of their way to make sure you are never in need of anything. They also have a wide selection to choose from on their menu perfect to satisfy every appetite. The prices are fair and you always leave wanting to come back again!!!👍👍👍💯💯💯
Food was very good and helpings were plentiful.
Great food and even better service. Will definitely return. Thank you ❤️💚
Great food ! Fast friendly service! Will eat there again. Thank you!
Loved our break,especially the scrapple
It was okay. Asked for a sausage with gravy, eggs and pancakes and they brought out biscuits and gravy instead with eggs and pancakes and insisted that is what was ordered.
Goid food,. (not great), good price. Best is good service
Very good breakfast. reasonable prices.super clean!!!
Thanks for the clean and reliable service during this pandemic. We ate our meal with peace of mind. It is both a delicious and a quality restaurant. We are very satisfied. There is more than enough food choice. The waiters are very interested in you. A comfortable place where you can feel comfortable. This place is one of the most beautiful places I have ever discovered. I will try to come every day 👍
A very great amount of food served. On top of that it very good, the split pea soup was excellent. Diner was very clean and our waitress very friendly.
The service was slower and I ordered a BLT and Brittany ( the server) asked if I wanted mayo on it and I said yes. I got my sandwich and no mayo and the bacon was so hard it tasted like it was the mornings bacon.. I went there at 1pm.. the server never came to our table to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything..
I loved it, everything was perfect. 💕🌹 Food is very tasty. There are some very good food I havent eaten before Great place for breakfast. The waiters are friendly and polite. The service is fast. So clean. Cleanliness is given importance. It is a place where I can safely eat hygienically. YOU MUST GO TO THIS RESTAURANT 🙌🍕🍔🍟🍗🍖🍝🍳🍞🍦
Go for there steak and eggs, or there lasagna, dont forget to try the chicken noodle soup, theres a reason theyve been around for so many years. Great food great prices and a great staff. A winner for me all the time
It was the most delicious foods I have ever eaten. Service and food presentation are excellent. All employees are smiling, friendly, pretty professional and very interested. The variety of drinks and food is extremely wide. The place is very spacious, its design is eye-catching. It should be your first choice if you want to have a great time with your family or friends.
I hadnt been there in years. Legal affairs took me to Easton for a client. My wife accompanied me. After my business matters were complete it was still morning and I sought out this famous eatery on the East side of US 50 in Easton.WOW! Three huge panakes and a hunk of fried scrapple for under $7.00 for this former country boy (now 74!). My bride had an equally large platter of a two egg omelet, two pieces of toast, bacon, and hash brown potatoes!Fast, cheerful service in clean upscale diner! We decided, over breakfast, to drive to Lynch, Maryland in Kent County to visit a friend. The brunch at the Easton Diner made it worth getting up at 6:00 am to drive to Easton for business from Randallstown!Salute!
Great food, great service.
Love it good food.
Home-cooked, comfort food. Large portions & always delicious. Reasonably priced. Daily specials. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu.
Oh my God,so good,so filling it really hit that spot enormous amount of food DELICIOUS, I WILL BE GOING BACK MORE OFTEN.
Service was great the food came very fast we were very pleased.
Service was tops food was good. Not a bad place to stop when passing through Easton.
Must stop on way home from Hoopers Island
My wife and I really enjoyed the food at the Easton Diner. We ordered from the breakfast menu which states serve all day. My wife had the hotcakes and corned beef hash and I had the French toast and Scrapple. One thing that I liked is that the sweet tea here was really good and the total for our meal came out to be less than $20 for the both of us. The reason why I didnt give this place five stars is because of the layout and they need to modernize the look of it. They have a salad bar that has Rusty sides and then in some areas of the diner there is some Warren paint which needs to be done over again. Overall, we would visit this place again because the food was really good and cheap. So, I recommend that you stop by if you get the opportunity.
Good food..Large portions
Turkey could of been warm
This is another example of a fairly small but well-run Diner, that sticks to the late 50s look inside. They have a lot of booths and tables, and yes they were practicing social distancing, so there was plenty of space. Waitress came right over and was very friendly and the food arrived much faster than we expected. It was delicious as it has always been of the last 10 times Ive eaten there. my wife was thrillef with her breakfast as well. Well worth the money, and its not very expensive on top of everything. The servings are well size so you wont go away hungry. Nice place plenty of parking nothing bad to say. Two thumbs up and well worth the ride
Excellent breakfast served quickly, constantly excellent
Great dinner and Very Nice waiters ask for Megan.
A good meal served by friendly wait-staff, clean and quite. One of my favorite restaurants, well worth it.
Many times we stop here for breakfast. They have a HUGH selection of good breakfast foods and the service is great, too!
Food was cold and done. Some was over cooked and burnt. Lousy place to eat.
Excellent service and very clean place to eat.
Good food and a lot of it!
Good diner food. Great service.
