About 1 year ago we had them remodel out kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It was and remains a terrible experience. Not only where they never have on time but had MANY no shows. In fact the wife and another female (relative?)” finished” the job. She offered to give us/install a granite slab for another bathroom for the inconvenience but that never happened. Now 1 year later my kitchen appears to be falling apart. The hinges have had issues and now the paint is cracking on the cabinets. We also paid them upfront for the job which was a mistake because that seemed to be the time when they stopped working. Pleas learn from my mistake and choose a different company to make your cabinets.

Not sure what the negative review was all about. Our project (11/18) was custom cabinets, black granite tops and custom shelves to enhance the fireplace wall of our cottage. Marina and Otto were very easy to work with. They built and installed to my exact design. On time and within my budget. Very nice work. I would gladly refer them to my friends.

We absolutely love our new kitchen, bathrooms, and bar. Not only were the cabinets amazing so was the granite work! It all turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Otto and his team worked very hard to make our dreams come true. You can’t beat the quality of woodwork and detail Custom Built puts into their work. Otto takes so much care making sure everything is just right. Also, there were so many decisions to make along the way, and I really enjoyed getting their help as we went along. I have already recommended them to friends. Anyone that walks into our home wants to know who did our cabinets and granite. Thank you!!!

Do not pay these people before they complete a project 100%. I made that mistake and regret it. We are over 8 weeks into a 2 week project that they committed to and still not complete. All I get is one excuse after another from Melina. It is quite obvious that they take on more work than they can possibly keep up with, so beware if you have a deadline. This company will not meet it.The quality of work is actually good. Its a shame the level of integrity doesnt match. They have lied to us many times.UPDATE- Because she felt bad about missing dates that she had committed to, Melina offered to provide an additional cabinet for our bathroom at no cost. After several more weeks of excuses and not completing our project, I told her that I was going to leave negative feedback. She read this review and decided not to provide the additional cabinet.

Most horrific experience ever! Started my cabinets in March to be completed in 6 weeks. FIVE MONTHS later, had to fire them with nothing more than cabinet boxes installed and this is after a $12,000 deposit!!! While installing boxes, many had to be taken out due to being painted brick red instead of farmhouse moss green (I mean those 2 colors are pretty close right?)!! You will hear tomorrow from them more times than you will in the Annie musical! They seem EXTREMELY nice when you first meet them. They will let you tour the shop so you can see where all your custom cabinets are made but dont be fooled, most everything from doors to drawer fronts come from a third party. If you have any truly built in appliances, do NOT let them in your house! The openings for every single appliance is measured and cut incorrectly leaving no option for any new cabinet crew to fix the situation without adding trim on top of trim. There are multiple owners of this company, only one of which has any cabinetry experience and that ONE person has a difficult time communicating with English speaking customers. Visit the shop more than once and youll get to listen to one of the owners brow beat elderly citizens when they call in to complain about bed bugs and other horrific living conditions - hopefully none of your parents are living in any of the places these people are running.

We had them do a job that involved redoing our kitchen and 3 bathrooms. They where months behind (we paid upfront), only did a single coat of paint on the cabinets (which I asked for them to touch up but they only fixed a few areas), had to have them fix the soft close drawers because improperly installed, underside of the granite slab is very rough (asked to fix but never did), and lots of excuses (at one point they ran out of excuses and just said sorry we didn’t make it). They forgot the glass panels so had to take the doors off and redo them. She said to make up for it they would give us one new slab of granite of their choosing (to try and match what was in the master bathroom) but it never happened. There are still areas that need repainting but at least my kitchen and cabinets are functional. They have great potential and can do good work, but it was a struggle for us. I think they could do good work but very poorly run/organized.

I had a great experience with my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops install. Otto and his team thoroughly communicated with me throughout the process and kept me up-to-date on every step. Otto was friendly and efficient when templating and designing and they did a beautiful job on the install. They have a great team & I highly recommend them!

Custom Built is the best in town! We love our kitchen! Thank you all for dedication!
