Lidl is the “New” shopping store that is compared to Trader Joe’s or Aldi.They are unique because they import stuff from over seas, like the Middle East, Germany Sweden. And, it’s fairly price for the quality.I always enjoy stopping by.There’s produce is amazing also.

Love the cleanliness and good buys on produce, cheeses for company, and crackers. You never know what you will find in the plant section and seasonal aisles.

There are certainly aspects of Lidl that shines; namely, its the floors. The whole place is squeaky clean which makes the shopping experience really great in that sense. When you first walk in you are greeted by a magnificent glass wall and the superb bakery. Sadly, that is where a lot of the great ends. Though the bakery is very nice (the jelly donuts always look scrumptious), the store seems desolate and lonely even during popular hours. As previous reviews mention, the place seems depressing. Whether it be the stock or the size to stock ratio, Lidl always seems a bit lonely which does not enhance the shopping experience. As for the stock itself, I found it to be a little lackluster. Minimal name brands and I didnt find much of what I was looking for. Not to mention the back of the store. Lidl seems to be the Dollar General of grocery stores - fine, but not really what I want. It has its ups and downs, but ultimately I dont think I will be returning soon.

If you arent shopping at Lidl, you are truly missing out. SO much cheaper than other grocery stores and everything is delicious. Their bakery is amazing, meat always fresh, great produce and love their weekly items.

Pricing of various dairy especially competitive. Their Steakhouse Greek salad dressing has no equal! Dried prunes, the cheeses, milk, eggs, hummus.... Lots of items are lower priced and just as good as name brands.And... Recently found out they upgraded their ventilation system in the stores to hospital grade MERV 13 filters. I dont know of any other company outside of health care industry that did this!! Every company should invest in their employees and customes like this!

I enjoy shopping at Lidl very much.... I can get what I need with no distractions at a great price ... .

The only problem was they had no more jumbo family pack Scallops which was one sale. I had to buy The small pack jumbo scallops which had less scallops in them.

Responsive. individualized.Delivered the next day by my personal shopper.She was absolutely delightful, cheerful, helpful Dawn? no, Donna. Donna went out of her way for me,,,,,even climbing heaps of snow to deliver all my bags to me safely following CDC guidelines.

Lidl has a great variety of food and produce. The store brand foods are usually delicious, and the produce that they stock is fresh and tasty. The best part about this place is how cheap everything is, including most name brand items. We have been shopping here for the past 3 months since we moved to the area, and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Lidl market. Lidl is love. Lidl is life.

They never have enough cashiers. This has happened before (last week). I was also told about this issue by other customers while waiting in line. Today 12/10/20 late afternoon was no exception .its very annoying. Overall the store has great produce,large selection of product and great sales. I hope the read this review and correct the issue at hand.

I used to love Lidl before COVID. But since the pandemic began, they are price gauging EVERYTHING. they more then doubled the price for every item in the store, and tripled their prices on toiletries and household needs. Just ridiculous and sad.

This is Aldi on steroids!! Store is big, bright and clean!! Prices are good as was the selection!! They are opening a store in Lawrenceville and I cant wait!

Lidl was a pleasant surprise...sorta a cross between a very small supermarket and bakery. They actually appear to have a legit grab and go deli meats and a rather nice selection of fresh produce, some of which is in bagged. (Would love to see more of that)

I like the low prices here. I live on Long Island and dont have access to a Lidl. Also, I asked someone about an item and he went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted. Then another employee helped speed me through the self service checkout. This was on a busy Saturday! I am a fan of Lidl.

Cheap grocery store with a good shopping app. They do Not stand behind disappointing products like Aldi does. We tried their potato salad and the potatoes were raw. Rather then stand behind their product, they told me they arent accepting returns due to the Corona virus. Across the street at Aldi, youd get your money back and a free product to make up for it.

I like this store. The store is clean and brightly lit. The staff is attentive and helpful. Their store baked bread is good and the store is filled with the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Their meat has a European influence on variety. Their cheeses include a few premium varieties. For instance, their private label tortilla chips are flavorful, thick and satisfyingly crunchy. Their aged NY cheddar cheese is outstanding.

I like this place. Its got great prices and they always seem to be giving something away for next to nothing. Well worth a visit if you like Trader Joes and Aldis. Message to the union thugs that hang out near the front with their big inflatable rat: Go home. Nobody who shops there cares.

I really would have given it 2 & a half stars. The outside of the building is very nice. All glass, modern with a slick appearance. Inside was bright, nicely arranged and clean. I know this company started in Germany in the 1970s and gradually expanded outside of Europe finally hitting the USA most recently. I admire their business plan with minimal stocking of shelves...most of their products are presented in boxes to cut costs. The prices arent bad. So why then only 2 stars? I thought from their on line presentation, they would be so much different than Aldi. In my opinion they arent. Both are German companies with a limited inventory and stocking mostly in house brands. Would I go back? Yes for a quick pop in & out for veggies, fruit. Still am going to stick with Shop Rite for the big purchases. Overall I am glad I checked out Lidl.

This place has SOME organic food, most of it is frozen or processed. They have a self checkout & the computer voice DOES NOT stop talking. You have to bring your own bags - or pay 7 cents per paper bag. The guy told me at the big stores the price of bags is built into the food prices.. I dont care, I like help bagging my groceries. There is hardly anyone there ( I went at 4:30pm) Its the feeling of food shopping in 2039 after the apocalypse - in the same aisle you can buy frozen fish or shrimp, you can buy socks and plastic gardening pots.. its just weird! and not laid out with any sense. I tried to buy brown coffee filters, which are healthier than white - they didnt have them. Teas limited to one Not very good brand. The cashier was an automaton, so bored outta his mind all he talked about was his mother and paycheck. The whole experience had a lonely negative energy. The one positive thing I have to say is that the bakery self serve had delicious croissants. I am not returning, too depressing

11 months agoI left a review because the story is great! But yesterday I was disappointed 8/14/21 in Eatontown. Because I couldnt go in the line just for cards, because it was my EBT card.that was not right. I had a heart attack and Im trying to get back on my feet this is the first time ever on this type of assistance. They should change this immediately

More than affordable prices throughout the store. Good selections all around. Produce is always fresh and if not on discount. Only downside; be ready to wait in line unless you use self checkouts. Thank you, will be back!!

Love this supermarket! They dont have the hugest selection but what they gave is healthy, low in preservatives and works for our family. We are a red-dye free family and they have the largest selection anywhere for us!

I love Lidl! Big aisles, lots of selection, diverse products. Sometimes the fruit that I want is not available but I can live with that. I get lots of household stuff there too!!

I really like this store. A fun variety of items (food and nonfood items like clothes, toys, etc.), good selection of organic products, the staff have consistently been very friendly and helpful, and their bakery... Goodness, their bakery is yummy... like amazing. And all that for a super low price!! I cant think of a better place to get Maple pecan Danish or a chocolate croissant. I also like that the parking lot is accessible by using the stoplight in front of Lowes.

Loved this place! Its like an Aldis on steroids. Loved that it has a fresh bakery. Unfortunately, they always have protesters on the entry of the lot and that scares me a little. Not the stores fault but I dont what one of those protesters are capable of. Limits me from going as often as Id like to.
