The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I needed to find something yesterday and a kind lady guided me to where the metallic markers were, helped me find online coupons, and helped me sign up for rewards so I could save money. The cashier was also really friendly and easy to work with. I know from past experience that this is a company that offers quality products, but when you get great service as well, you know youve found a wonderful place to shop.

Thanks to Barb who works at this location! I had the best experience at this location. Barb went above and beyond to help me find the type of product I was looking for. She was kind enough to walk me to exactly where the item was and even helped me decide which one to purchase! I wish there was an employee like Barb at all locations!

I love Michaels it is laid out so easy to find things. Labeled, organized, plus customer service comes around asking if they can help you within a short time of entry. Always have enjoyed this store and after being at another similar company & going nuts finding things. Loving product but so unorganized and labeled poorly ect. It was such a remarkable experience to be here where it was joyful from start to finish. I could have spent mega dollars here too, the flowers are so realistic I wanted to take them all home. We purchased some art supplies and could have done a lot more damage to my pocket book & probably will down the line but was getting so tired out had to leave. Post operative & hit the point of no return exhaustion. Love their store though, my friend & I are both so impressed with the lay out & organization of products. Plus customer service without even going searching for them.

Place always has all of the craft accessories we could ask for. Definitely our first choice for art supplies. Amazing selection. ☆☆☆☆☆

Great store for my tie-dyeing needs. But recently their yarn selection has really give away. They only have one aisle of yarn!

Not a fan of the mass clutter in the store. Its always in disarray and just shoved in places and a disaster. They do have some fun seasonal items that you have to watch prices on.

A large store whose layout seems fairly random. I wandered around for a good 15 minutes before I begged an employee to talk with me, and after all that they didnt have what I had come for, pens and other diamond painting accessories. I thought they were THE arts & crafts store, how do they not have the equipment for the biggest craft trend right now? Huge waste of time, unfriendly staff, confusing layout.

Expensive, expensive and more expensive! Found exact same items for $3-$8 cheaper at Hobby Lobby. Ill pass on going here again ☹️

A very friendly fellow, and a fellow model maker, helped me out with sourcing materials for a project. If he is to set any standard of the employees at this store, then your visit will surely be lovely.

When Hobby Lobby is closed, go to the next best thing.

Michaels custom framing staff of Eau Claire, youve done it again.A few years back I completed a cross-stitch and brought it to you for framing. I was THRILLED with how it turned out - the colors you chose, the ornateness of the frame, the care you took to present my art in the best way - it truly touched my heart. Obviously, with such a positive experience, I brought a second cross-stitch to you to have you work your magic again. And you did. Not only did you advise me to wait a week to bring it in (due to an upcoming 70% off sale!) you once again helped to choose the perfect combination of matting and frames to really make the details of my art pop.Your craftsmanship is impressive, laudable, and appreciated.(the attached is just a taste of how incredible their work is!)

I had the best experience ever at this Michaels. I went in for a Cricut and Holly, the greeter, took me to them, explained them and assisted with the extra materials I would need for my project. Because of her, the Eau Claire Michaels will be my forever go to craft place! She gets 10 stars 🌟

Its clean and the staff have always been nice but the available stock can be weird. Sometimes entire sections disappear and reappear a few months later. Sometimes there are aisles that are just straight up empty, which is kind of weird.

Terrible service. None of the employees knew what they were doing. No one could tell me why the 20% off regular priced merchandise coupon wasn’t working even though my frame was full price and not in the restricted merchandise. I read through the restrictions and the employee was like “yeah I don’t know why it’s not working but you have to pay full price.” The coupon worked for every other color frame in the same size and same brand. I showed her the coupon working in checkout on my phone. She shrugged and said there is nothing she could do which is obviously a lie, I work in retail, I know you can apply a manual discount. I asked her if I could order online for in store pick-up, walk outside, and walk back in to pick it up so I could get the discount. She said I could do that but I would have to wait for them to put the frame back and repick it which would take a while and I couldn’t leave the store with the frame today. It was literally the most backwards conversation I’ve ever had in retail like why would you make a customer go through all of when you could just apply the 20% off and make life easier on everyone. I asked the employee if I should order the frame online with the coupon and simply return it in store using this full price receipt once it arrived, she said that was what I would have to do if I needed the frame today because she wasn’t giving me the discount in store no matter what, even though she couldn’t give me a reason why this particular color frame wasn’t eligible. Seriously these employees have no idea what they are doing. If I could give zero stars I would. I guess I’ll be shopping at Joann Fabrics from now on where the employees are competent.

I love getting all of my sculpting tools and mediums here. Theres plenty items in the store to spend looking at and visualizing all the possibilities!

Tried to buy items in store and was told that it was online deal only... 3 items all shipped separately, took a week to arrive and were in diff packages.... And I got stuffed for shipping! Unfortunate, because i could have just purchased in the store that first day.

If you are looking for cheap craft supplies this place is not it. Everything is beautiful there though, I get why a bundle of flowers are 19.99.

Years ago I came here for all my baking supplies. They offered great items and had deals. Their selection is not great anymore. I wish they’d offer more than what they do. Customer service is very up and down too.

The employees are friendly and very helpful, in making a decision, on coordinating items from the store. Their displays are well done and give you great ideas for your home!

I went with about half an hour left before the store was closing and I went there to get a specific kind of stamper. Did a quick looksie around the store to see if I couldnt find what I was looking for myself....I couldnt. Haha (so much stuff in that store, but I love it!!!) So, I got a few other items I wanted and as I was checking out asked about what I was looking for. The checkout girl was nice and sweet and got someone else to look for me. The only reason Im giving a 4 star review is cuz the stamper I was looking had recently been clearanced out prior and they didnt have it anymore. ☹️ Just my luck. Ugh. Everything and everyone else was fantastic though.

Love going to this store to find crafts to keep my grandkids busy learning on how they can make things for theirselves.

Found what I was looking for. It was a little hard to find an employee to help, but once I found one, she was very helpful. The store was clean and much more organized than other craft stores.

I made a special trip because I was looking for scrapbooking supplies. I was very disappointed, as the store was somewhat disorganized, and I struggled to even find the area where they should be, and most of the shelves were empty. It was as if they were going out of business. I did not find any of the accessories I was looking for.

I love Michaels. So many things were on sale and its easy to get the supplies I need at a fraction of what it costs elsewhere. I picked up 3 poster frames and a couple artificial plants from the current sale that I just love. The only take away was that my cart was always trying to go right, one of the wheels was wonky which took a bit away from the experience.

Love to shop specials. Only wish I knew when they got their truck in cuz what im dying to try is always about sold out.

Michaels always has what I need when it comes to art work. Prices are competitive with other similar stores in the area. The staff is REALLY good at ignoring you, which most people might find wrong, but for me, not so much. Wait time at the registers is hit or miss depending on staffing, but all in all fast enough

They do a nice job on framing

This store has never let me down. This last time I was looking for a very specific type of plastic. Wandered around dazed and confused until a wonderful, friendly lady helped show me exactly where they were.

I shop here for my art business all the time. The people at Micheals are so friendly and helpful. Micheals in eau claire has always been very supportive to my business. They work hard to meet and at times exceed my expectations. The manager Holly is extremely personable works very hard to make your shopping experience a successful one. She is kind enough to care about how your business is doing and offers creative business solutions for businesses that are having challenges conducting art based business during these pandemic times. Kudos to her and her team on always being diligent in her efforts to make artists and art business owners welcome and appreciated and to go above and beyond in personalizing your shopping experience. Absolutely loved the customer service. The associates greeted me with smiles & a friendly deposition. They were more then happy to answer all my questions about the smallest thing & offered suggestions without putting pressure on me to buy. Cant wait to go again. Only downside no can see, so far, is some of the items are expensive, but, in retrospect you pay for what you get.

I always enjoy looking through this store. There is always something I didnt know about or think of. Folks here have always been very friendly a d helpful. The reason I give it three stars however, I believe Jo~Ann has better prices for the exact same products. Having all three (Hobby Lobby as well) in Eau Claire now, gives buyers the chance to shop around.

Always decent with prices, great selection of hobbyist tools and lots of really nice decor. We get almost all our Halloween stuff here! My wife got a piece of art I bought from a concert framed here a couple years ago. Gorgeous job with the frame, which is proudly displayed in my home for all to see.

Often have good deals on craft supplies and frames. I find myself wishing they had a little bit of a larger layout. Some aisles are cramped.

Good place to pick up crafting items. They have a good selection of items for just about any crafting hobby you can imagine. They also have unique items for holidays from gifts to household decorations. The prices are fair for a box store. The staff is friendly and helpful, my wife loves this place.

Ladies working there are friendly and wear masks, and are safely behind those plexiglass divides.They have managed to keep thier supplies stocked, and are always ready with a 20percent coupon

Michaels at one time had decent products at decent prices. I went to buy Do-A-Dot (bingo daubers for preschool art) and all they have now are a cheap looking imitation. The new product is not even washable! Who, in their right mind, would give this to a small child?!

Staff is always helpful, store is set up a little difficult to find stuff, but it isnt too bad.They always have coupons online, go to the website before you check out.

Always so crammed with stuff in the main aisles. If someone is looking at something on one of those displayers in the main aisle then no one can walk by there without doubling back. Terrible merchandising.

Pretty much anything you want or need for your crafting, art, and home decor needs is available here. This is my go to place now for picture frames. Very high quality frames and so many different choices.

I went here on a Thursday afternoon with my grandson and granddaughter. My grandson found a high-quality sketchbook for himself. My granddaughter wanted materials to do squishy makeovers. There was a very good selection of the right kind of paints and we picked out some. With her own money she bought two on-sale Squishies. The cashier was *extremely* helpful, cheerfully counting my granddaughters money (mostly quarters) and then applying a coupon to my purchase. I might have been quite frustrated without the Michaels app on my phone, which told me where to find things in the store.

It has many, many different things and stuff.

Helpful customer service. I work at a commercial/retail paint store that doesnt deal in chalk paint, so I constantly refer people looking for chalk paint there blindly. They were glad to assist not only with finding it, but proper finishing, and cleaning due to wear and tear.

I had some childrens art framed. I used a coupon to keep the cost down. They did a fantastic job!

I would say my mom likes it. I guess her only issue is that it isnt a price friendly she would hope for. Other then that she is content with it.

The sales clerks were especially friendly and helpful and one went above and beyond to assist me in finding large cardboard boxes to make a puppet theatre. I asked Linda M. on Thursday if Michaels had any large boxes that were being recycled. At first, she didnt think so, but then she told me if I would come back in the morning there would probably be two that would work. They are perfect and she also helped me fold them for loading into my car. I also enjoyed the sales items that I found too. I will be back. Thank you, sincerely, Ginny

Michaels is a nice craft store for nearly any crafting item you can think of! They often have good sales going, too.

They always have amazing sales and they have a great variety of crafts for all ages

I went there before a flight and I wanted to buy a photo album. When I arrived I was greeted by an employee who treated me nicely and offered amazing service and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely be coming back when I visit again.
