Great store, only complaint is that I wish they would separate the used and new inventory so its easier to pick between them, but obviously thats a corporate decision and not a store-level one. Their changes to the membership program they offer actually make it way more worthwhile to pay for a membership given the amount of coupons you get. Would recommend!

No price matching; save your money and shop online/other stores in the area or get a library card. It isnt the consumers fault they wont adapt and certainly shouldnt be their burden.

I personally love reading, and this is my favorite place to go when Im looking for a nice book. BAM has a wide selection of books for all ages, and the staff are very nice and helpful.

I like the coffee shop there. However the way they have no folk lore section, an obsession with the Christian religion, and utter disrespect towards other religions, it has lost my respect. However I give them credit for such a fantastic crafting selection.

So I’m going into the store tomorrow to get things figured out because I ordered six books from BAM online since they were out in store because I thought it would be easier. Well the order was easy and I got the first book fairly fast and paid for all the books upfront when I ordered them it’s been a month and they are finally sending two more books so they still haven’t sent the last three, but I was looking at my bank account today and noticed that money was taken out from Bam so I scrolled down through my statements to make sure I had paid for the books I ordered and I did in the full amount and they recharged me for the first book I got and the next two I also got charged for again, that they are currently shipping to me so basically I’m paying for these books twice... Not happy about it and am going into the store to be reimbursed. So if you order online make sure you check that you aren’t being charged twice for your order.

I love how many books they have, the atmosphere, that little coffee shop in the corner, and especially all the little gifts they have near the checkouts. I usually get them for myself though. Oh, and the calendars and journals are awesome, too

PRO: they have a really good selection of books. not just the top picks. they have tons of classics and great reads.CONS: the books are not cheap, you can buy them online on other book sites for half the price, but you have to wait along time.ADVICE: get computers that customers can look up books themselves. i dont want to ask the people that work there to look up books for me.

Amazing! I do so enjoy this book store. Its also so nice to get to look at the actual book that Im wanting to look at to see if I want to purchase it. Then, if so I do for me to be able to get the book right away. For when next day shipping is to slow, your local book store is there.

There are many books of all different varieties but they also have DVD,records VHS tapes and so much more and if they dont have it in stock they will order it and will arive at your house in a couple day and there is a great coffee shop inside lots of parking

BAM always has a great selection of books for my entire family. There is nothing better than a great book!

Actually has a pretty good selection of books and comics along with some pretty cool collectibles. The staff here are pretty helpful and actually pretty fun to talk to. Everyone seems to have pretty good knowledge about most of the products in the store and its the closest place to a Barnes and Noble in the Eua Claire area.

Unbelievable assortment of literature for anyone from students to children on up. Theres a beautiful coffee shop in the store. They also buy used books, CDs and DVDs. You could spend days in this store and not see it all. I was very impressed especially considering our era moving to digital forms of obtaining literature. I didnt thinks stores of this magnitude still excited. Thankfully they do.

Keeping your customers informed of the entirety of circumstances involving the purchase of their product would be a great start to improvement. I work out of town most of the time and the only reason I spent over a hundred dollars on your product was because I was promised it would arrive during the short window of time I would be home. Im always willing to pay extra for convenience. Had I known it takes up to 30 days for some orders to complete I would not have purchased this order. Unfortunately, I was not informed of this until I attempted to track my order, which they then informed me some orders do not have tracking numbers. Horrible customer service. Did not even offer to meet me in the middle with a solution or compromise at all, basically politely told me to deal with it and that Im stuck with whatever day my order decides to arrive. The Fort Smith, Arkansas store is wonderful. Your employees seem to really care about their customers and are willing to help with whatever you need. But I 10/10 will not recommend relying on you guys for professionally and courteously completing an online delivery to satisfaction.

Had very little selection, too tight of rows, not a very relaxing atmosphere. A store mostly for children and teens. You can get toys from your favorite anime or movie, but i thought it was a bookstore.

This is a great place to find the next book youre seeking and have a cup of coffee while you peruse.Prices feel a little on the high end, but there are always great finds in the bargain section. One of the things I really like about this store is they also have used books for sales if you find them, which adds another element to book hunting.Their rewards program is good as well, so if you shop there often, I suggest getting a membership.

Love the staff and the selection here, and the gifts for book-lovers are never-ending. Its great that they have a coffee shop too! However, the books can be incredibly pricey-- even for older paperbacks--and the rewards program is tricky and not explained well enough. Read the fine details or youll get slammed with magazine charges later on.Since its the only bookstore in town, Id say its pretty good overall!

I have always loved BAM. The selection is great, and the atmosphere is perfect. I love that they have a section for everyone. And their coffee bar is nice too. It is laid back and very enjoyable.

What a lovely little store! Its basically like a small town version of a Barnes and Noble, complete with their own local version of Starbucks. Folks were super nice and helpful plus I found everything I needed and then some. If I lived in the area, Id probably become a member!

Reminds me of what B&N was like when I was a kid. The smell or coffee and new books is always intoxicating. Lots of gift options for my family and friends. I always spend at least an hour browsing.

This store was a little more busy due to it being Christmas eve but it was relatively easy and quick to get what i needed and get out. I went here just on a wim to see if i could find something for my mom for Christmas. I did. It is a bit pricey but its more on instant gratification. I would recommend it to people but also suggest if they can wait to get it on Amazon if they can wait.

Did some dodgy stuff at checkout. I paid for a tea and a book with my debit and immediately the cashier hand me a brochure and says choose 3, theyre free. On it are pics of magazine covers. I circle 3 thinking shes going to hand me some magazines. Then she asks for my address on a post-it note. At that point I was like,,wait, so theyre going to send me these? And I realize this is some subscription pressure sell. The cashier was very evasive. Oh its free and really easy to cancel. I asked, so if I fail to cancel what happens? Because i hadnt signed anything or given any credit card info and it never occurred to me theyd be so bold as to use the debit I just used to take money for magazines! She kept being evasive, saying, oh its really simple to cancel, in fact you can call this 1-800 number as soon as you leave. What??!! I then asked, but if I dont do that will they charge the card I just used for mt purchase? Again evasiveness. Its really easy to cancel... but will they use this card?? Finally, yes I think so. Is this even legal?? I told her no way, she needed to cancel that now. But Ill be watching my statement for sure. When I tried to sign in to their wifi it then tried to download a file to my computer..not sure what that was about either. Sorry but the place gave me bad vibes.

Coffee counter service is poor sometimes, and this may not seem important, but you get a coupon with store purchase and I could easily go to Starbucks or Caribou or DD, and not care about the small discount if its not worth it. Large selection of items, but sales are disorganized. Good luck getting something not in stock on hand delivered to you or the store with an estimate thats not for many weeks. Unless youre a frequent member and pay for membership, and dont mind waiting, then I recommend hitting up Amazon or other sellers for quicker shipping and equal/ cheaper price. Staff not always knowledgeable, but are friendly. One of the more difficult chains Ive shopped at.

They have a great religion section, that I frequently visit. Not to mention used books for a great price. But everything else can be very pricy good stuff but costly!

I really like Books A Million. I love exploring this place.I absolutely hate their check-out process. The whole store feels wonderful and full of things to discover but when you go to check out, the lane feels terrible. Loved your experience? Great! - now wander through a maze of trinkets... youll know youve reached the end when you find the lady who pressures you to buy a magazine subscription.I just wish I left this store feeling good instead of feeling like Ive just spent the last 10 minutes being milked.
