Ive been here on numerous occasions. Overall, great experience until night manager became disrespectful to me in front of another employee, mind you, in training. Some people just take positions of authority too far. Whether she was having a bad day or not, she shouldnt have acted as she did. I think she needs retraining in people skills as I can see she will bring bad reviews whether written or not 👎👎👎

They have permanently removed the fitting rooms and will only give store credit if an item doesnt fit. Really poor policy. Ill do my thrifting from now on at Hope. Better prices and you can try things on!

Ideal thrift store. Items are very reasonably priced. If you dont like goodwills style of color coding, stop here instead. All items are arranged according to size and style instead. ;)

I was absolutely blown away at the extremely high prices...the prices were comparable to an antique shop!I found an item I was interested in and it had a sticker for a dollar and a savers sticker for 2.99...so I asked the cashier if it was able to be sold for the dollar? She was very polite and said Ill ask a manager...so over comes a KAREN...she says nope 2.99!So I said nope, no thanks!The cashier said Im sorry about that!The thrift store I worked in would definitely honor the lower price...Needless to say that will be my first and last time visiting a savers...mainly because of the ridiculous prices...Thank you to the cashier who was polite!

I needed some sheets to cover my garden for frost. I asked about some sheets that werent sellable? The nice woman gave me 5 for .99 cents that had stains or cigarettes burns in them. I said great! Perfect for my garden

If you are in Eau Clair and thinking to go to the secondhand store- this is the store, that you supposed to go.First of all the brands, that you will see here: Express, banana republic, left, ann Taylor, gap, Adidas, Reebok, Nike and so on. Very huge and light store.Not enough big fitting room, that could make your shopping not so pleasant. Im not sure it will accessible for people with special needs.Otherwise I had a very nice experience shopping there.

The shopping experience is decent. The other reviewers were not kidding though about the high prices including the checkout bags (which should be free but charge them for some reason)EDIT (8/14/2021): Also have to bring up they closed the fitting rooms down due to covid. If youre looking for clothes that fit and also try on, this is not the place. You will get ripped off.

Completely ridiculous toddler mazes to check out. Also, staff argues with customers about dumb stuff.

Their prices are pretty good and they offer discount programs. Staff there was polite! I had to get I. Contact with a manager due to a register issue. It was resolved promptly and the cashier was really helpful.

The store with clean and pretty well organized. Frustrated that there is no place to try clothes on at this location. Also, clothing prices were higher than I had expected, and they did not bag our purchases. I had to ask for bags and they said they were $0.10 each.

Yesterday was the first time Ive ever been to Savers. And it reminded me a whole lot like a Goodwill or st. Vinnies type store which are the type of stores I love.

One piece of banana in banana cream pie, tasted like vanilla pie. Floors were dirty. The server was very nice and prompt. Will not return there for pie

Very disappointed!! I have been using savers for many years now, donating and buying, recently been going there weekly to fill my secondhand business. Bought a toy for $10 two days ago, was missing a bunch of pieces and they would not exchange! I will be taking my business elsewhere!

Found some Native American made necklaces there. I usually don’t find anything there. Love my white Holite stones Squash blossom copper necklace I found there. Prices are usually about retail on a lot of things so just keep a close eye for actual deals on items that they didn’t know what it was in the first place

I absolutely love this place! So nice for me to have a place where I can get almost my clothing, furniture, seasonal, etc. supplies at a price I can afford. Especially during this pandemic.

Will not do returns only exchanges even though they do not allow you to use the fitting rooms and they do not tell you at the checkout that you can only do exchanges.

Some of the pricing is a bit ridiculous! $6-8 for a used t-shirt? $10-15 for used shoes?

Cant try on any clothes..And no returns..Its only exchange/credit within two weeks.

Very high prices for a thrift store. Books that have been written in for $4? No thanks. Everything is priced higher than what I can get new for a good deal.

Its ok, has the same type of items like Goodwill or even Hope Gospel in our area here, the prices are pretty much the same to. They have a savers program collect 100 points get a discount plus on Thursdays another discount day to. Overall not bad!

The people whom work there are not nice. Twice now two different people have been very rude to myself and the person I went in there with. Will not go back ever again. And there prices are getting out of hand.

Glad they were wiping carts, provided sanitizers, and wore facemasks... I also liked the teated stickers to let you know electronics and appliances worked.

As a customer, prepare for a mess greater than the average yard sale, absent management, and employees who obviously havent been trained in customer service.As a prospective employee, prepare to be told any lies necessary to attempt to get you to stick around long enough for everyone on the chain to get their bonus for your hiring.Beware.

Savers is a great place to get things 2nd hand. It can be hit or miss on what is available, and some prices can be higher than some 2nd hand stores, but most items are good quality and fairly priced.

Great deals! Only complaint is when they change the tag color each week or really seems like they also remove most of that specific color. Ive been there the day of the change as they open and finding the color thats discounted is nearly impossible. I went through an entire rack and found 2 items on the entire rack. Theres reason to shop for the discounts when there are none on the racks.

This is very well organized thrift store. Great place to buy used clothes. I rarely buy new clothes anymore because I can find it here for less and in good condition. Also a great place for kids clothes, bedding, kitchen odds and ends and a wide variety of other things for around the house. You really never know what youll find. Great place to get your Halloween costume when its that time of year.

Every time I walk in here I always come out with at least one thing. Almost all of my shirts I have are from here. The staff are always super nice and helpful!

Just went to Savers there Website states there open 9:00 am till 9:30pm. We got in the Store and they announced they are closing at 9pm.I put my items back and Went to Goodwill. I asked one associate why they were closing when the website says they were opened till 9:30pm “oh that’s are Summer hours” Well it is Summer???We left and there were so many people going in. Savers you lost a lot of business Tonight. Maybe you should change youre Website to read the proper time!

I always find something when I go. Some of the prices seem very random and at times a tad high on some items but usually really great deals

Bags now cost 10 cents which is fantastic for waste on the planet and in my house! But important to be prepared for. So many great things in many sections!

For a place that gets all there inventory free, it is way overpriced. I was moving out and needed to get lots of things and thought savers would do that for me at an affordable price for someone on a budget. Better off getting it new at nearly the same price, sometimes lower! I’m reading these reviews and I can’t believe my eyes. Are they on crack? Are they fake account to boost the review rating? Are they blind? Get real people! Go to hope gospel, goodwill, Bethesda, go anywhere but here.

The worst customer service, save for Gabby, who must have been trained separate of everyone else, because she is the only friendly person I have encountered there. Went on Labor Day for the sale, youd have thought they werent getting paid to be there. Well if their goal is to have fewer customers, theyre well on their way to achieving that goal. Ill be doing my Halloween shopping with the friendly people at Goodwill in Hallie this year. Savers doesnt get any more of my money.Update - Went in and encountered another all star employee, Liz, super friendly and helpful, was skeptical about going back but they had an item I wanted, bit the bullet, and glad I did! Find Liz if you need anything!

One of the best places for used stuff. Much better than Goodwill. Items are of higher quality and prices are lower.

Good store, but they are getting a little greedy with their coupons. Donated 2 totes of clothes and they would only give me 15%, instead of 30%. For a store thats mostly for profit, its a shame.

I had to buy something for someone else and before I bought it I asked an associate if I bought it and they didn’t want it if I could bring it back and get my money back. The associate said yes. I went there to return the item and I had very limited time and I was refused my money back. I was told that I had to receive merchandise from the store. I asked if they could put it in a voucher or a gift card since I was running super short on time. They told me no. The manager called me a liar when I told her that the associate said I could get my money back. Very bad management. Needless to say that I am out $20 because I didn’t have time to shop. I will never shop there again

The Savers in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, recently got rid of its plastic bags at checkout. Now it is forcing people to either bring their own bags or pay 10 cents for each paper bag or 99 cents for each store tote bag. What bad customer service! Checkout bags should be FREE. Some type of free container should always be provided. Because Savers gets all of its inventory free, it could use donated tote bags or baskets as free containers. Lately a lot of the second-hand merchandise has been way overpriced, so I have only been shopping on sale days. Now I will go there much less, unless they begin providing free bags or containers. Very disappointed!

I used to love coming here!! But lately all the prices are waaaaaay is too much. Target has the best clearance section with clothes going down to $3. TJ Maxx has brand new, brand name clothing going down to $10. Lately that’s where I’ve been finding better deals than this thrift store. If these insane prices stay the same or go up, we might just stop coming here. This place is supposed to be cheaper than new clothes.
