I needed to replace my car after an accident. I bought my last car from Benjamin Cutts and asked him to find a replacement. He went out of his way to find the exact car that I wanted. My experience was just amazing dealing with Suburban Chevrolet. I have to thank my salesperson, Gerad Albers for everything.I live out of state in Florida. Knew the model truck and options I wanted. With the parts supply chain issues going on now. Very few trucks out there on the lots nation wide. I did find trucks closer to me but the other dealerships I try to deal with would just add dealer accessories add-ons. The cost of those add-ons packages at other dealers were $3000 to $4000 more. I dont need those add-ons (and alot of you people out there dont need them either).Gerald and the team at Suburban, thru texts and emails just gave me their best prices. I asked about were are the dealer add-ons, (because other dealers throw those high profit margin games in the pricing). Gerad told me that we at Suburban dont do the games here. I was blown away. Finally no games with a dealer. So I told him. That with the money I am saving. I will fly up to Minnesota and drive the truck back to Florida for the long weekend getaway.Gared picked wife and I up at airport. Took us to the dealership, test drove the truck to double check everything, then Paperwork was a breeze. Every amazing experience! This is totally a dealership that cares about the customer from the first phone call or text.So things I would recommend. I did buy the add on 3rd brake light flashing system add on from them( not that expensive) They offer that and it helps for the driver behind you know that your braking instead of a solid brake light on from the 3rd brake light. This will reduce being rear ended from other drivers (like the ones on their cell phones not paying attention to well)Also Surburban Chevrolet offers a extended warranty(your vehicle can be worked on at other dealership nationwide too) which is very reasonable priced compared to other dealerships. I didnt get the extended warranty because normally I just work on my vehicles after warranty has expired. But I recommend that you look in to purchasing it from Suburban if you dont know how to work on your vehicles after the warranty has expired. Because Computer systems, parts and labor for repairs after warranty has expired are very expensive now.Also one last thing. I grow up in a GM employee family and GM dealership family. Gerad and the team at Suburban Chevrolet treated me like family and keep that small family owned dealership experience alive again. Please stay away from large corporation dealership and go to this dealership. Your helping out the small dealership families.Thanks again Gerad and the Surburban Chevrolet Team!
Horrific. Less then 2 years ago bought a brand new work truck it is a Chevy Silverado 2019 for $32,000. It broke down on the highway, I have customers waiting 3 weeks now for our services it has been in the shop or waiting to get in and Friday it was supposed to be done. I went to pick it up and only then was I informed it needed an additional $1,000 in repairs and another week. Total cost for repairs $4,000, cost of tow $160, loss of business $8,000 huge mistake! They dont care at Chevy, it only has 70 000 miles on it i am making $600 a month payments. Buyer beware.

When I got to the dealership to finalize the car deal everyone there was so nice smiles and I felt like an appreciated customer at Suburban Chevrolet.
I had a routine oil change and tire rotation. It was easy to make the appointment and it took less than an hour. I also had one of the salesmen help me synch a new phone with the bluetooth on the Equinox. Everyone at this dealership seems pretty accommodating.
I just got back behind the wheel after a long period without my own car, but I have to give Ben, Steve and Tony 5 Stars. When I arrived the staff were in a meeting, but once finished I was quickly directed to Ben. Ben is a PHENOMENAL specialist. I went in with my heart set on wanting an Impala, but left with what I needed. My credit isnt the best, but Im glad these folks work with you! Steve in finance is such a wise man. He said nothing, but encouraging words throughout the whole process and helped me get back driving again. Tony detailed my baby!! Had her looking and smelling good, but he gave Ben all good reports. God guided my footsteps to Suburban Chev and I got the chance to drive again! I truly appreciate the guys that helped me. If you have less than perfect credit they work with you no doubt. Process for buying was not at all complicated and they were very attentive if I had questions or concerns. I highly recommend these guys as nothing was forced and they make you feel welcome
A) Dealership did not have any record of my extended warranty which GM sold me.B) GM claims to be shifting to all electric vehicle and has a hard time servicing the VOLT with a mechanic.C) What is the most important thing to an electric car owner? Full Charge! Would have been nice if the dealer would have changed the car up when it was in the shop.
Fastest car buying experience to date. We got there at 9:30 and we’re out the door with a new car by 12. Pretty impressive.
Worst service department experience I have ever had. They charged me $215 for my door handle when similar parts would have cost $20-50 online. Had a separate issue with my engine making noises while idle that they misdiagnosed and their repair just ended up costing me money without fixing the actual problem... the engine still makes the same noise after leaving the dealership. I honestly think they didnt bother to spend the extra 2 minutes to listen to it or they are just plain incompetent when it comes to their own cars.Summary: they will overcharge you on parts and they are underqualified to diagnose engine problems. Go somewhere else! Really unfortunate that GM would associate their brand with this low level of service. I will go with Toyota or Honda once this car fails (probably soon)!
At only 70,000 miles my 2019 Chevy Silverado bought here broke down on the highway needing $3,000 in repairs. After e mailing corporate they are willing to only charge me $904 to fix it.
I purchased a 2018 Cruze LT last November from Suburban Chevrolet and felt I paid a fair price for this vehicle. Now when it was time for its first oil change I brought the car back to Suburban Chevy. They were ready when I arrived, very polite, serviced the car quickly, and did not try and charge for unneeded service. I recently had a different car serviced at a different (non- Chevrolet) dealership and they brought me a very dirty air and cabin filter and told me it would only cost $150 for the service. I told that dealership no and went home and changed them myself. Mine were not as dirty as the ones they showed me. Suburban Chevrolet did not play games like this and only preformed the needed services. I am very pleased with them.

I had a an oil change an fuel system cleaning performed and encountered a 10% shop charge fee. I get money needs to be made however, the gloves, towels, mats etc. needed to perform services as I was informed by service associate, dont amount to 10%. Its a dealership and you need to do your home work. Will not be going back.

Billy was great but the dealerships decision to charge us $2000 over MSRP just because they can because of the market right now is disgusting. Taking advantage of people at a time like this is reprehensible.

I had a 930 appointment at your dealership. My vehicle didn’t even begin to be serviced till 1030 took another two hours to get the oil changed and the tires rotated and a cabin filter installed. That’s totally unacceptable my time is valuable also
Harley was great to work with. He was very trustworthy and communicative while we were locating a vehicle. I went down on a few different occasions and each time he was respectful of my time and prepared.
If you need service done avoid this place like the plague, brought my car in at 3500 miles for a car that had already stopped blowing cold air. Had to bring it in again less than a week later because my air conditioning started sounding like a jet engine going off they claimed a rat had made its way in and chewed the filter up which i find extremely unlikely. Then proceeded to overcharge me for a cabin air filter. This is however not the only bad experience me and my family have had at this dealership roughly a month prior my sister had her car in for a similar issue with her air conditioning while it was in apparently one of the repairmen let a pressurized hose loose in the shop causing $2000 worth of damage to her car thank god they owned up to it and covered it but after my recent experience i will be taking my buisness elsewhere.
Ive always been pleased with everybody at Suburban Chevrolet, from the sales team to the great team in the service department, & my last visit was no exception. I had brought my truck in for its 10k mile check-up & met with Carissa at her desk & she immediately set the wheels in motion. While I was standing there it dawned on me that the appt. I had made on-line was for the next day & when I brought it up Carissa told me not to worry that the work could be done right then. The person I was told to see about my service appointment was out sick that day. There was some confusion with my appointment and I was not to be charged for a service. I was told I was going to be charged by someone in the service department, so I went to the GM and discussed my situation. He had been advised about it by the salesperson Kirk, (who did a great job with communicating to him). I was then taken care of.

The service advisor never did call until the Vehicle was done . I called 3 times and the gal`s said they would have the advisor call 3 different days but never did until the vehicle was done. Not sure were the ball was dropped gals or advisor but customer contact is important.It was a parts warranty type repair but still should of contacted us sooner.Thanks for getting it done though.

Paid twice for service that should have been found the first time the car was brought in. We bought the car, NEW,, there in 2012 and have had ALL service done there. This has been the worst service experience we have had with your dealership.
I dropped my car off on a Friday and was told it would probably be ready on Monday. Monday went by and I heard nothing from the dealership, I called 3 times on Tuesday and was told by service that an advisor would get back to me, which they never did. I called two more times on Wednesday and was finally able to be routed directly to a service advisor and was told that my car was done on Monday but nobody ever called me. I understand that sometimes the service advisor may be out unexpectedly, but there should be some sort of plan in place to review their customer list. I shouldn’t be left hanging for two days with my car or a call because someone isn’t at work.
Gerard was great! He was really patient with myself and wife and we got what we were looking for. He also has the my wife looking for a convertible now so we will be back.
Ive used a different dealership for years but this location is closest to my home, so I decided to try it. I have a very obvious slow leak and scheduled an appointment online. Upon bringing the vehicle in, there were 6 associates in the service center and no other customers. Not a single person acknowledged me or said hello which is always a red flag for me. I explained the problem and the associate printed up paperwork and told me it would be $150 for diagnostic. That is obscenely high. I called around and Shakopee, Bloomington, wayzata, BC, and fridley are all cheaper. In fact, this location is the 2nd highest in the minneapolis metro. I understand charging extra while doing service, but trying to rip me off for just looking at the car is not professional. Please do your research. These hidden fees are not posted anywhere ahead of time and caused a pretty big inconvenience for me. 2 stars for location and cleanliness

I brought in my 2012 Malibu LT which I purchased in January 2020. It was having issues accelerating and was ticking inside the engine. Turns out I needed a new timing chain! The diagnostics were swift and they worked on it right away after letting me know and getting my permission to proceed. The car was finished much sooner than expected as well! The Malibu is moving great now and is very quiet! They did a great job, had great communication, and were super friendly. They were very understanding about my financials as well. I’m a college student so the budget is tight! They were very willing to work with me.Also, I bought my used Malibu LT from here. The price I got for it was great and the staff were super helpful and kind throughout the entire process. We were in and out of there much faster than expected as well. Overall this dealership had provided excellent service for me!
I went in to trade for a Silverado and they took my F-150 out for a test drive. My F150 is/was mint. They came back and said they put it to the floor and the check engine light came on indicating the turbos were going out. Offered me 1/3 of what it was worth. Had it scanned where I have had service work done for 25 years, and absolutely nothing wrong. If you want to totally get screwed on a trade go to Suburban Chevrolet. They are crooks!!!!!!

I enjoyed working with Gerad Albers, Sales for the entire process. He gave me options on vehicles and never made me feel pushed in one direction or the other. The woman in costumer service was extremely unhelpful and sarcastic. After asking about a repair to my car she rudely replied “yeah just get a new car.” Not knowing my situation with the repair. I called a few Chevy dealerships after this phone call. They were able to help me and advise me much more in depth.

After working with Ben Cutts and purchasing a new Silverado RST Z71, Ben gave me the keys and told me to push the blue Onstar button in the truck stating they would walk me through connecting the service. I had to ask a sales manager if someone could pair my phone to the truck (which Ben was called to do). Never was shown any of the features that the truck had. Not trying to be rude here, just think it would have been nice to have some info on the truck, instead of info on the upcoming survey - informing me to be sure to rate him at 5 stars. A little customer service makes a big difference.

Just tried to get a quote on 2 different models of same car. Not sure which one I wanted. Starting the process. Just looking for some intial pricing. Apparently that was to much work for the sales person who said if I didnt know what model i want, i should investigate it more and it takes to much time to pull up info on leases. Only been leasing for 15 years. Never heard that before. Ever. In fact different dealership did it in about 10 minutes today. So much for ever considering working with these guys.

As for the service department, don’t bother the manager RJ treats you like your garbage.
Terrible! The general manager and finance person were rude, and unprofessional! Don’t waste your time with this dealer! Find another, that will appreciate your business! I will NEVER deal with them again, and will warn anyone I know, to stay away!

I found the service department to be friendly and professional. I am however, disappointed with the outcome of the problem I am having. I brought in a certified preowned 2017 Malibu, that I had just purchased from Suburban a week prior. The issue is a tire hum or whine that the service department said they were not able to correct. They said it was a problem with the tire itself. I would think that if the vehicle is covered under a certified preowned warranty, that this problem should be taken care of. I am not unhappy with the service department, they did an excellent job. But I never felt that this issue was given the attention it deserves at another level at dealership or from Chevrolet itself. I would appreciate a second look at this issue and perhaps a meeting so that a potential outcome could be had where both parties are satisfied.
Work done was fine. However, I also needed a bulb replaced in headlight and the quoted charge was ridiculously high. Had it done by a local mechanic for 1/2 half the price. Its nice to deal with dealership that knows my vehicle, but it feels like price gauging when work is over-priced. I am going to have to consider going to local mechanic for future work since my vehicle is out of warranty.
Bought a used vehicle here about 6 weeks ago and would not recommend them. Shady. Three examples. 1.) The vehicle had a low tire, obviously had a leak...no big deal so I asked the salesman to have it repaired before I picked it up. He did the sleazy sales thing and told me it was low due to the cold. I told him no it’s not because the other 3 were fine. He said they would “look at it”. Well all they did was pump it up because a week after I bought it it was low again, and has been every week since. 2.) Then four days after I bought it a check engine light came on for a cylinder misfire. Needed new plugs as they were original. Again no big deal, it was due for plugs. My issue is I am 100% confident the light was on and they reset it and sold me the vehicle because there is no way the plugs were good 4 days earlier and all of a sudden the misfire code throws a few days later. 3.) I drove 2 hours to test drive and a couple days later I called the salesman to tell him I would be there the next morning to buy the vehicle. He told me it was his day off. I told him I didn’t care who wrote the deal and he didn’t have to be there. He tried to make me feel guilty for him having to come in on his day off. He ended up coming in to write the deal and I had to hear about it being his day off a couple more times. I would have been more than happy to work with another sales person who was working that day...who cares right?? I didn’t care for the guy anyway. He wanted his commission check and I don’t blame him, but really...make the customer feel guilty??? I believe his name was Corey. I’ll never buy another vehicle there and you shouldn’t either. Go to another Chev dealer.
Great service and experience
I recently purchased two vechiles from Suburban and worked with sales, finance and service. I found my experience with each department to be an excellent experince. Everyone that I worked with was respectful and enthusiastic to help me find vechiles that met my needs. They stood behind there products and went out of there way to make sure I was a satified customer. I drove across town to work with them and am very glad that I did. I have never had such a positive experience perchasing a vechicle. I can not recommend them strongly enough. I will definently continue to come to Suburban Chevrolet in the future.
