I have never been in this store itself but I have ordered from it online. Could not be more happy! Wanted a limited edition Yeti in King crab orange. Couldn’t find it anywhere! Found it here online. Ordered it on a Sunday and got it by Wednesday! Quick shipment and exactly what I wanted! Great service! Size comparison in the photo of the yeti and my cat (Chuck Norris).

A great place to come as a family and enjoy some games, or come to shop. Every is friendly and helpful. The games are cheap. My nephew loves seeing all the animals. I just got the credit card and look forward to saving that way.

I wanted to learn how to set my own suspension pressure in my fork and shock on my mountain bike. Chris was incredible about this. He took the time to research the proper pressure, then showed me how to set it, and lastly we talked about future maintenance plans on the shock. I was highly impressed by the level of professionalism, knowledge and eagerness to help, and just his demeanor. Chris is really an all around cool dude. I definitely left knowing that Chris was a guy I could count on to be honest, a guy who I would entrust with the repair and maintenance of my bike, and I guy who i could totally hit the trails with. As a first encounter experience, I have no qualms about bringing my bike back to be fixed, serviced, or upgraded. Thank you Chris for a wonderful experience and I look forward to when we meet up again!

Its official Scheels is the best sports and outdoors store I have ever been! Better than Bass Pro Shops, better than Cabelas and Academy Sports and Outdoor stores.

Scheels is dog friendly! My pup and I had a blast wandering around the store and doing some shopping. The staff was super friendly and I found what I was looking for and more. This store isnt close to where I live but its worth the drive to me. Very clean, very nice store.

Scheels is our #1 date night spot! We love getting food or coffee from Ginas cafe and walking around the store together for a few hours, plus we get to bring our dog too and they even gave him a free Scheels bandana! The service is always unmatched and each employee is so incredibly friendly!

I have been to Scheels many times. I am elated they opened the store in Eden Prairie. Each time I go in, the employees are as friendly and helpful as any people can be. I asked a manager if Scheels was building these kids in the back. Never have I seen a scowl or someone not smiling. I enjoy shopping there and will continue to do so as long as this level of service continues.

Had an issue with a North Face jacket that I used fairly regularly during the winter and spring this past year. John at customer service was so helpful in helping me exchange it for a new one. The kindness and understanding complete took me by surprise. This company clearly has great values and cares about their customers and team members.

There are no words to describe this place. It’s just huge. They have everything. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it. I went there for the first time and it was even better then the extremely high expectations I had going in. I did go on a Monday night with temps around -5 to -10 below zero. So it was not busy whatsoever. That was nice. The employee to customer ratio was easily 6 to 1. Probably even higher. So the customer service was almost annoyingly good. But I totally understand, they are just doing their job. Anyways. Extremely impressed. Well done.

I love this store! Literally every time I have been in there, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I also love the fact when you call it does not go to a computerized answering system. Great place, lots of guns but no ammo. Unfortunately, they hide ammo in back and only sell to someone that is buying a gun. I get it... Why buy a gun if they dont have ammo for it. But come on... And I was being stalked by this guy...

I visited the new store in Eden Prairie this afternoon. The aquarium arch is pretty cool. A indoor ferris wheel! The staff is very nice and will help you find something if needed. The claw machine for a rapala lure was awesome. If you need any equipment for outdoor sports this is the place to go.

Its such a cool place! Its huge and full of interesting things, awesome taxidermy, live tropical fish. We thought it was better than the zoo! It has a ferris wheel inside!

This is NOT just a store. It is an EXPERIENCE!!! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when I stepped foot in this huge wonderland filled with arcade games, aquarium, animals (I’m talking LOTS of animals, and A FERRIS WHEEL!!!! Coming here was almost as amazing as going to the Mall Of America for the first time! It is two stories and they literally have everything you need. They also have their own cafe!! With DIPPIN DOTS, a huge selection of chocolate and candy, and popcorn. The ladies working were also super nice and helpful! When the arcade games and Ferris wheel open back up, definitely bring your kids because you could spend hours here! A good idea is mom would stay with kids while dad shops, or vice versa. They also have a small indoor ice rink to test out hockey stuff. This place is magical and I can’t wait to come back literally all the time!!!!!

Beautiful fish tank greets you as you enter. Lots of everything and it is two stories unlike what other reviews have said. I love the huge gun and fishing selection. I also coach youth football and they have all kinds of pads and helmets and footballs. A lot of everything. I don’t like how the staff chases you down and forces you to either wear a mask or leave the store. I won’t be going back until they stop that Communist like policy. There are plenty of stores in Minnesota that suggest the mask but don’t ask you to leave if you decline. Just let your customers decide to were a mask or not. You’re not law enforcement. I can’t give it 5 stars because staff was pretty rude to me for simply not wearing a mask. Get over it, most people don’t like wearing masks or believe they are even needed.

Best customer service hands down! The employees want to give you a great experience shopping in their store and they surely show it! Every employee we saw through the store greeted us and offered to help look for outfits to fit my son’s style and pulled sizes and colors for us. It was so helpful!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful as I was shopping for my teenager who just want back to in school learning after an entire year so he needed some new clothes. The bike department here is amazing! I just got my wheels trued today and they did a great job. How can you complain with an hour turn around and the best deal when compared to local bike shops. I’m definitely coming back.

Nice store with tons of stuff. Similar to Cabelas, but the store is easier to maneuver around in. We were looking for some shoes, they had them in stock, and we bought them. I also looked at some spinning reels, but had to give up because they didnt have the reels to try, which is not a huge deal. I would go back again if it wasnt on the total opposite side of the twin cities from me.

Visiting the Twin Cities newest Sporting Goods Superstore becomes a Finding Nemo, social distance tourist destination in these curious times.Venturing down the extremely long stairway, feels like a mountain expedition when you try not to use the hand railing that hundreds of other people have touched.It seems like it would have been a much better idea for someone to open a Economy Sporting Store, than to open one where they have to find somebody to pay for Nemo, the statues and the extremely large-expansive (and expensive) new building.It does make for a fun evening of wandering social distance for two hours after the mall has closed. There also is an excellent food area for dining, candy and desserts for after the mall closing.

I went last night for some very last minute items I need for a trip and Sara in the women’s department went above and beyond, she was so helpful finding me exactly what I needed and so friendly! She ran around the store while I was in the dressing room trying everything on. That’s to her now I’m ready for my trip!

The archery department is absolutely fantastic! The tech working on my bow was phenomenal! He was super friendly and easy to talk to, he explained what he was doing and why, he got my new string put on, peep installed, nose button put on, new D loop installed, and to top it off this dude literally skipped his lunch to tune my bow perfect on a Friday, before a staff meeting! We ran into some trouble getting my sight axis leveled but another employee came over to help and we got it done! Some of the best service Ive ever received! I was ready to tip 3X the cost! Thank you so much Ethan, Scheels is going to be my full time shop for work on my bow and any equipment I need! Scheels needs to keep hiring people like the guys they have back in archery! Seriously well worth the 494 traffic!

This place is always great, but today Al (camping manager) went above and beyond to find me the Thermocell bug repellent cartridges that I needed. He knew where some in back stock and brought me several options to choose from. He even helped me with pricing of each because they were not on the sales floor. Excellent customer service.

I spent $250 at Scheels and the cashier asked if I wanted to save $70 on my purchase by applying for a Scheels c.c. Sounded good. We filled out the app right there but it was processing and wasn’t completing. It was then charged to my other c.c. with a promise that once approved I’d be able to get the $70 credit somehow. Turns out all it was going to be is a coupon for the next purchase and to make matters worse I wasn’t approved even though my credit score is 774 - Excellent. Seems like this was a bait & switch! Beware!

I bought a reel here last week. It was a small spinning reel I planned on using to walk the Elk and the Mississippi rivers throwing lures for smallmouth. I noticed right a way that the braided line was getting stuck right were the ball wire guide met the roller but would not fall into the roller. So the line was fraying and I broke off two fish at the reel. So I took it back to exchange for store credit as I was going to get another reel. They took it back even though I didn’t have the box any more. What I liked was the representative at the customer service counter, without me saying anything, asked her manager if they could also re-spool the reel I was going to buy to replace what I was going to loose on the old reel for no charge. The Manager agreed and walk with me to the fishing department to explain to the gentleman at that counter what was going on. It was very nice that they saw that was going to loose about 15 dollars in braid and they looked out for me.

Gross 🤮 All they care about is sales and micromanaging you. Pro tip: do not get on one of the ASLS bad side...because then you are watched & all they do is gossip about you & find everything and anything they can to get you. File a concern card...cool, what does your ASL do? Gossips about you to your OWN COWORKERS & never once talks to you about the situation. HORRIBLE LEADERSHIP!! When you leave? Everyone blocks & deletes you on social media. They truly do not have your best interest.

I went looking for a paddle board, could not find the model I was looking for. Fortunately found it online on scheels website.

This place is great. The store itself is very cool with the aquariums and the Ferris wheel. The gun section is always full of cool stuff and they generally have a fair amount of ammunition. I also love the patriotic statues out front. Scheels in general has my business because because they are a proud American company.

I have been shopping at Scheels at the EP Mall since the opened. It is a fabulous store to find all of your cold weather gear for your family……that matches! Scheels has a great selection of fall /winter attire and outdoor apparel in a wide range of sizes. I really appreciate the “self serve” atmosphere. Very friendly and casual.

The gentleman in the archery department provided great assistance in helping me process a special order. The young lady in customer service epitomized service during the check out process and making sure my order was accurately processed. Overall, shopping at Scheels is a very pleasant experience.

If anybody goes to Scheels DO NOT BUY their Pokémon cards. It’s a complete scam. I have purchased somewhere around 200 packs(roughly $1000) and have got pulls in the single digits. I have come to the conclusion that the workers are weighing the packs and setting out the bad ones. I have purchased Vivid Voltage/Chilling Reign/Sun&Moon EBT and the premise is the same for all of them. My pull rate is literally 1 out of every 20 or so packs. This is unheard of and outrageous. DO NOT BUY Pokémon cards from Scheels because you will be scammed and lose your money. It hasn’t only happened to me, the same has been happening to my friend therefore I am convinced that something strange is going on.

This place is awesome - first time patron and spent two hours just going through the many different sections of the store - puts every other outdoor store to shame.The sign says employee owned store - there is a very large staff of people on duty and every one of them spoke to me and all were absolutely polite....Love this store.....

So much for first come first served. Unless you can get yourself on the shoe department VIP list I would just stay home.
