I went to this store to get all my brakes replaced after my dealer quoted an exorbitant price. I got the job done at half the price for the exact same parts. The car is now driving like new and I have not had any issues since then.This is now my go to store for all automobile related incidents and for routine maintenance. The owner is really helpful and accommodating (picked up my car from our location and drove it back for maintenance as we were not available at the house). Small things like these is how you build trust, would recommend to everyone, especially if you have European cars as (Audi/BMW/Mercedes) like to price gouge at every opportunity the get.

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. I noticed right off the bat that the mechanics and the owner that we spoke to were kind and very thorough. Our usual car mechanic isn’t bad, per se, but the people at Edgewater Motor went beyond fixing the problem we came in for and made our car like new in addition to offering us a few well-appreciated complementary services that made a big difference. I can’t get past the feeling that our usual mechanic (at a different auto body place) offered a lot of band-aid solutions to our auto problems and didn’t notice that, in addition to our worn brakes, our car had numerous problems that made it unsafe. Our tires, shocks and brakes all needed replacing, our wheels needed realigning, and after our car was done, we saw how necessary those replacements were, because our car ran like new and was so much easier to drive. We spent more than we intended, but the price was still good and fair, and overall it was 100% worth it. I highly recommend this place. I’m so happy with the nice people, great service and attention to detail. There’s no question over where I will go next time we have a car problem. I would say that if you live or have a problem within a twenty-minute drive of this place, go here! I had nothing but good experiences.

The AC of my car was broken and knowing that it’s a critical task for any auto-shop, I googled for the one with the best service based on reviews. The result ended up being Edgewater Motors and the reviews were accurate. Matt and Jose kept me updated with their work on my car so I never felt any concern throughout the days. Not only the AC ended up working perfectly again, they also alarmed me with few other potential issues that I never knew my car was about to deal with and that gave me time to plan ahead in fixing them. Matt also looked out for me with the tinted cover that he had to remove from my windshield due to the work on the AC. It was very appreciative of him putting a brand new one at no charge and honestly, the tinted windshield looks far better than how it was before. I visited Edgewater Motors on River Rd. after being involved in an accident on 4/8/2021. I googled/ yelped to look for highly rated, affordable mechanics right away and this was the first place I walked into. I was prepared to visit a couple of mechanics that I had looked up, to get an estimate, compare, etc. but after speaking with Matt, the owner, I ended up just leaving the car with him. He was polite, calm, and honest. I had no knowledge about car accidents and after process, but he thoroughly and patiently explained what would be the best for “me”. He said, supporting local customers is very important to him. I was impressed at how fast and efficiently he worked too. My insurance did not have rental coverage, but he immediately called the affiliated major rental company and got me an unbelievable deal for one week rental car. He promised that the car will be fixed and ready in a week. Mid week, he sent me in progress photos of the work. Let’s be real, what other mechanics do that? The morning of 4/16, car was ready, as promised. Matt has proven that he is a man of his word. I hardly write reviews, but he deserves it, and I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a good mechanic.

And my experience met those high expectations.I recently brought my car in for body repairs. It was scratched and dented from being moved around in my indoor parking garage.Matt and his team were very professional, responsive and did excellent work. The repairs were done on time, as estimated, and the car is repaired like new! They even provided some additional customer care and service beyond the repair work.I trust in their work, their warranty and will be there again for future needs.

I had an issue with my rear tires making weird sounds and after searching and reading the reviews here, I decided to take my car here for them to take a look. When I arrived, Matt and two other employees were very attentive. After explaining the issues and that I have not driven the car for a month, they quickly took a look at the rear wheels and told me that the car should be fine. They stated if the issues continued, to come back. Matt could have charged me, but he was extremely nice and honest about the situation. Would definitely recommend this this place!!

First found this place nearby our home when we needed a quick oil changes a few years ago. Since then we did several works on our car: regular maintenance, oil change, engine light, battery, and replaced four tires and did a tune-up yesterday. Every time the work is done with super efficiency at a fairly charged price. The staff are great and the service is fabulous for the money. Highly recommend this place!

Had some wild warning lights on my Prius Prime and had always done my services at a dealer. I was recently fed up with my dealer service center (wont get into it here) and tried this place out based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. The staff was really polite, and the services was quick and well priced. Two weeks later, no issues with the car, and they even let me know my brakes were terribly faded - something the dealer never mentioned in their inspections. Ill be coming back for my brake job and all future services :)

The place is the real deal among general car maintenance and repairs shops.Earlier this week, I had I decided to stop in for the first time to do a quick oil change and fix my wiper blades that were damaged by the snowstorm. I found the owner and workers to be True Professionals, fast, very knowledgeable, and move with a great sense of awareness and careful assessment of the vehicle and the customers needs. I observed the owner be straight up, attentive, and fair when engaging with other customers.As a woman who has had a few cars and enjoys handling the maintenance myself, I felt comfortable and happy that I found a local trustworthy repair center. I coincidentally got one a few weeks later and came without an appointment and they got it taken are of extremely quickly and very reasonably priced. They’re quick, competitively priced and are 100% transparent which is huge for me. Ask for Matt (the manager), I’ve been to a lot of shops and dealt with the BS people try to pull, he’s a great guy.

I have used Edgewater motors for various services. Car detailing, tire patch work, emergency suspension checks, window tints and more. The owner is a hands on, and very involved,. He answers the phones himself, he answers your questions and he works out honest pricing. Bets of all- he cares about his business being reputable and that is something very rare in the industry. Last weekend I took my car for an oil change and he gave Christmas gifts to my lady and I and I thought this was a very nice touch that hes doing as a way of offering his gratitude to all of his customers. I plan on using this body shop for a long time.

I ran by there after having some problems with my lift gate leading to my car battery dying 3 times in a week. They assisted me immediately, ran some diagnostics checking my battery and other components to make sure the lift gate was the issue and then fixed the problem. Even put on new windshield wipers. I will definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Professional service, good value service, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I called several auto services. They only replaced tires, which was making a big deal out of the tiny nail. More importantly, it wasnt eco friendly at all. But Edgewater Motors did a good job of repairing the tire. I am very happy about it.

Great luxury car repair service in North Bergen NJ. They did great job and helped me save $$$. They are professional. My Maserati has had an abnormal noise problem for many years, which can’t be solved in the 4s shop, but they solved it for me.

We rushed to this place at last minute on Saturday afternoon before closure. The owner is very nice and waiting there to inspect our tire issue. Was looking for a local mechanic in the area and stumbled upon Edgewater Motors a few years ago. This is our go to place for any car issues. They are reliable, quick and very friendly. Highly recommend this place !

I live in The Alexander and this is the closest shop around. I came here the first time out of convenience but I’ve come back for a well priced brake change, window tint and I also came here randomly when I had a shock system scare. The lot was under construction and they were very backed up and the owner squeezed me in and checked my car. Driving 60 miles a day on the highway I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. They somehow squeezed me in, did a test drive and made sure everything was okay and took care of me. Now that is the 5 star kind of service I wanted to post about because it meant a lot to me that they gave me peace of mind.

Very helpful. Normally, I take my care to the dealership to get service but due to COVID my dealership closed. The team at Edgewater Motors were the absolute best at getting my car back up and running. They kept me informed with what was going on with my car.

I had used EM multiple times for oil changes because it was more convenient than going to a dealership. Recently I purchased an older car that needed some TLC, steering was vibrating and leather interior was looking a bit faded. They ended up replacing the suspension, which was expected given it was an older car with original parts. After the work the car drives like new. The interior work also exceeded my expectations. After painting the leather on my seats, they looked almost new. It turned out better than I expected. Hadi, Omar, and the rest of the folks were nice throughout the process.

I had an amazing experience at Edgewater Motors! As soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by the owner. I informed him of my cars current damage (my car was severely dented in the back from a hit and run). Then he thoroughly looked at the vehicle and gave me an estimate of the cost for the damages. Four days later, he called me to pick up my car, it was fixed. My car looks brand new. Noone could tell that my car has been in an accident. That was the easiest experience I ever had with any car company. The people at Edgewater Motors are kind, informative, and extremely helpful. I recommend everyone to support this business, you will not regret it. Upon leaving the shop with a fixed car, I also recieved a Holiday gift from them. I read all these great reviews and was wondering is this the same place I visited today.I had a battery issue and called roadside to jump start. I called edgewater motors and asked they have the battery for 2012 VW.I went there and the guy said the battery is 300 plus install fee total 400 plus taxes.I told him I purchased battery before and that is extremely high. The guy said “take it or leave it.I left and got a battery installed for 180 total at Mavis. Hugh difference from 400+.Is this just me or this is their usual practice.They knew I was in a jam.I know we in a pandemic and would gladly pay 300 to support local businesses. But that was way too much.

I stopped by on my way home to Boston because I had a maintenance light on and I couldnt seem to figure out what was wrong. Turns out not only did I need an oil change but my brakes were also completely shot. They took my car in right away and had it ready for me within 3 hours to finish my drive home. Incredibly nice staff and good pricing for the area.
