Everyone there is so polite ready to help you theyre very professional the store is very clean well stocked and when it comes to faxing or copying theyre right there to help you out they do a great job I cannot say anything bad about them

Great customer service which is unusual in todays world. Too bad there werent more stores like this. When possible, better to shop here than HD or Lowes.

I love this old fashioned hardware shop. Locally owned and operated. They copy keys that work! Never had to bring one back. They have all the usual stuff youd expect in a small hardware store and its always my first stop when I need something. They also accept drop-offs for UPS.

Good neighborhood hardware store. They got just enough stuff the bail you out of most any situation. Plus they offer shipping with UPS in a couple other carriers I believe.They also make copies and fax things.

American Hardware as you call it I call it buzzes place now we have Buzz Junior in there Poor Boys passed away about two years ago one of the nicest gentleman you ever met but if you need a part I dont care if its a screw I hammer or a casting that if they dont have it at American Hardware will get it for you the following Thursday itll be there fast hardware store around Id go there before I go to Home Depot or Lowes any day of the week if you want to buy screws or Nails by the pound you can buy and buy the pound if you want to buy them individually you could buy them individually its an old school hardware store and the Heart of Edgewater theres not so many little hardware stores like this around he knows what he has from a 10 mm screw hello I sure they goes on it to the knot that goes on the end of the screw he could tell you from behind the counter what he has in them little boxes in the back he sells painting supplies he sells everything he sells locks he could even cut a key for it he has a fax machine you could send faxes they have everything at American Hardware that little store contains a lot and like I said why make the trip to Home Depot theyre halfway to Samsula on you can go to American hardware and get what you want and if they dont have it though have it the following week just acting a little short guy with the dark hair buzz you and your hell help you out found Frank the foot sent ya!!!!

The owner opens and closes the place so no fear of problems and cannot tell him. All his employees are polite, helpful and very friendly. They will make you feel at home and make your shopping experience easy and painless.

Friendly and prompt service

I have passed this place a million times, but never really knew if it was an active store or an old abandoned building. Today I needed a UPS drop off and found out that they were the only one in Edgewater. The store is small but well stocked. I would say they have at least one of everything...and I do mean everything. Ill definitely be back for the next home repair job.

Backwards individual that doesn’t say hello, could care less you’re in his store trying to spend money, and too busy talkin to the “good ole boys” to wait on you. I’ve tried to do business here twice but apparently my neck is not red enough. I won’t return!

Great service best mom and pop Hardware in Edgewater

Fantastically helpful staff. I had a little project with a bifold closet door. The owner worked with me for about 10 minutes, as we went through the different ideas for a solution. All that for a purchase that amounted to about a dollar.
