The dirt I received did not look anything like what was advertised on the website. I ordered the top soil compost mix. What I received look more like landfill dirt. There were so many rocks in the dirt that I had to hand screed the dirt. Maybe I got a bad batch or the order was mixed up but I would not recommend the top soil compost mix. I used the dirt anyways because I will be using leaf growth in the spring that I will be getting from a different supplier. So I made it work. Picture below shows some of the rocks the pictures dont do any justice. The picture with the blue tire shows the rocks after I sifted it with a half inch screen.

Super company, we ordered 9 tons of rock; they kept the two separate types apart, placed them where we asked and had a great coupon to lesson the cost of shipping. Super glad we ordered! Will be ordering another load, soon!

I ordered two tons of river rock. It came on time. The driver did a great job of placing the rock in a convenient place. Courteous and professional. The only small concern was the rock was dirtier than expected. Had to hose it down for a while to get it clean.

Buyers Beware! We found a lot of trash, rocks, plastics, and a couple of nails in mulch that we ordered in March-2021. See photo. It was time consuming to be sorting through the mulch to make sure we did not endanger our kids and familys safety.Reached out to company to rectify; they completely ignored us. Picked this company because of solid customer reviews, disappointed with outcome.

We have gotten Mulch and Stone to deliver shredded leaf mulch for our late fall mulching for the last 3 years. Very quick delivery, wonderful product, reasonable prices and friendly employees. We put down tarps and the driver dumps exactly on target. We highly recommend them.

Got the recommendation from my sister. We ordered 10 cubic feet of playground mulch for delivery. Great website for easy ordering (delivery in three days and couldve even chosen an earlier date), nice selection of mulches. Delivery man was also really nice and helpful. Friendly and efficient service. However, the truck was divided into 2 segments and when our mason sand was poured, some gravel from the other segment, mixed up with our sand. The driver tried his best to get the gravel thats already mixed to the sand but to no avail. I dont have the tool to fixed the problem so I used a colander but it was too hard. I ended up plowing 3/4 of the sand that has gravel mixed with it away.The mason sand is for the bottom of our above ground pool. It has to be really be fine and free from gravel or it can puncture the vinyl lining of the pool.3 stars for sand quality, 4 stars for the courteous and helpful driver.

Mulch and Stone did a great job! Once we established that we wanted to pay the extra price for stacking of the wood, they can back and did an excellent and careful job. I would advise customers to pay for the stacking as otherwise the firewood is dumped at the most convenient spot. But the dispatchers and the workers did a great job once they knew what we wanted. Definitely recommend but be clear what service you require, and they will be great.

Very easy to work with and purchase stone!The only thing missing was a “shoot” at the end of the truck to direct the rock to go to the side, instead of definitely behind the truck; leaving a 4’ wide row of stone to be put into a one x one gutter.The driver was awesome and did move while dumping, making it much easier to fill the gutter.

I requested an estimate from Mulch and Stone to pave a walkway in my backyard. They got back to me quickly and talked with me about my project before scheduling an estimate. Jeff showed up at the date and time of the appointment and walked around my backyard while I described what I wanted, asking questions and making suggestions where appropriate. He measured so that the estimate would be accurate and gave me a catalog for the stone supplier they most often work with. He also noticed I was putting gravel in myself in my front yard and gave me some advice I appreciated. Jeff got back to me with an estimate a few days later. Other companies I have tried to get estimates from have not shown up for appointments or come out and then never sent me an estimate, so I appreciated their professionalism and communication. The work estimate was a little higher than I expected and I decided to do some indoor work instead, but I would definitely use Mulch and Stone to do projects in the future.

Ive used Mulch and Stone several times for different products (wood chips, mulch). Online ordering is super easy, prices are good, minimum order amount is reasonable. Never had an issue with delivery or drivers - customer service is top notch. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was very nice and easy to order online. Delivery was free that’s a big plus. Now the reason it’s 3/5. I ordered 3T of 3-5 river rock and approx 1T was way bigger. I didn’t need way bigger for my project so I’m now stuck with 1T of big rocks.

If you have a large yard, 1/2 acre or more, this is the way to go. The minimum order is 5 cubic yards, for about $350. Thats roughly equivalent to 90 bags of mulch at Home Depot or Lowes, which you can get for half that price if you catch the sale and they dont run out, and you dont mind making 5 round trips, waiting in line, fighting the crowds and unloading the bags yourself, etc etc. In other words, yes you can buy and haul it yourself but the savings arent worth it. The service is friendly and efficient and on-time, delivered by a dump truck on top of a tarp I laid down as a target. The quality (I ordered red dyed shredded hardwood) is equal to or better than the bagged product.

Online process was easy to make a purchase, really fast turnaround time! The gentlemen who came with the dumptruck was extremely courteous, professional, and tactful in terms of place the gravel in the tarp I laid out. Highly recommend!

I purchased the double shredded mulch in bulk. I typically get black mulch but I prefer having it double shredded. The online ordering process was easy and I appreciated that there wasn’t a separate delivery charge. I’d rather just have that built into the cost of the mulch as opposed to a separate line item. In terms of delivery, the driver was very courteous and unloaded it in a nice, neat pile on my driveway as requested.

I used Mulch and Stone to get 8 yards of mulch delivered. It was done quickly and left right where I asked. The mulch was clean with only a few pieces of plastc here and there (as expected from any mulch.) Overall I was very happy. I recently used Saunders landscaping for mulch and was completely dissatisfied. The load they delivered was full of trash and no way was it 10 yards . I contacted the owner there and his response was that there was nothing he could do and that the mulch in this area was prone to trash in it. When I explained I managed heavy civil construction and knew what 10 yards of material was and what I received was far less than that he said there was nothing he could do.The next week I called Mulch and Stone so I could finish the mulching of our beds, I had to find a better quality if product and supplier. Last week I arrived home to find, to my pleasure, exactly what I ordered and it was delivered and dumped exactly where I left instructions to do so on my online order. Delivery, driver knew how to handle his truck to get the first load where it was needed - have had problems with other folks just dumping by the road in the past. Topsoil was of very good quality. Unfortunately they completely failed to return with the second load and didn’t call to let me know they weren’t going to (a problem with their supplier). This caused me to lose the work of an entire team of volunteers who we’re going to spread the playground mulch that weekend. So far They have not made good on the delivery contract.

What a fraud, unprofessional company. We ordered firewood, they gave us Moldy, damp horrible quality wood and dumped on the trees on our drive way, caused lots of damage. Interestingly they came and removed the garbage quality wood they give us, and never refunded our money. As I am writing this review Im having my lawyer draft a law suit for the damages they did to my property.
