Always Pleasant and Helpful ... Lots of Sales and their Stock is Highly Varied and Plentiful
The drive through pharmacy has very bad customer service. They gave my sons medication to someone else. For 2 weeks straight I would go to pick up my prescriptions and they would tell me it’s not ready. I went to pick up my prescription today 2 minute after their lunch time (1:30) and they refused to give it to me even though they gave the person in front of me their medication at the same time, for the second time in a row. They don’t even apologize and they speak in a loud and harsh tone.
Eliza was a pleasant surprise when I picked up my prescription. Very polite, calm, no attitude . She went out of her way to help me and was nice about it. I hope she stays . In a world thats become so impatient and unhappy it actually meant quite alot to be treated like a customer, and have a good experience.

This review is regarding the pharmacy. They really need to do an overhaul of the staff in this department because they really suck. I have had issues before and always say Im going to write a review about it but I never do. Today was just the icing on the cake so here I am. I had surgery this morning and my doc wrote me a script for pain meds. Its a simple prescription, Tylenol w/codeine so you would think Id have this back in an hour right? NOPE. Four and a half hours later and still no prescription. When I call the line it just says being processed. So I hit the prompt to talk to a staff member and after FIFTEEN minutes of being on hold someone finally comes on. When I ask why this status has been saying being processed for four hours she says to me its because the pharmacist hasnt looked at it yet - REALLY? So I asked her if she could light a fire under him - literally - because I had surgery this morning and I need them for pain. I got a very sharp yes from her and I thanked her and hung up. I am ready to move my business to CVS.

Dropped off a prescription and was told it had to be ordered, called every week for 3 weeks and told it would be in soon, then i called and was told this is a over the counter prescription and my insurance didnt cover it ! What a horrible business, dont get any prescriptions filled in Walgreens edgewood md
Told Rx was not at that location; that is was at Abingdon location. Then Abingdon location tells us Rx isn’t there, its at Edgewood location. Told Abingdon Pharmacy Tech to call Edgewood and gave them transfer the Rx to them and fill it now that we’re here. Incompetence followed by lack of common sense.

This review is for the pharmacy not the store itself. Everytime i go there im told it will be 15 mins at most i usually wait 20 to 25 before going back and am always waiting atleast 30 more minutes after that. If cvs said 10 it was ready in 10 or before! I took a prescription there on tues waited over 40 mins before she tells me they have to partial it (and waited another 20 before it was done) and the rest would be in the next day here it is thursday (2 days later) at 3pm i call they still dont have my prescription in said she would try for tomorrow. I think from here on out i will take my self back to cvs or somewhere else because the service is better and quicker!
Poor customer service at pharmacy. Vert deceitful practices. Called corporate office and made complaints. Wont go back if i can help it. #boycottwalgreens

IF YOU HAVE A PRESCRIPTION READY IT TAKES HOURS OR DAYS TO PICK-UP BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BUSY DOING SHOTS AND TESTS! FILL PRESCRIPTIONS AND STOP THE OTHER DUTIES IF YOU DONT HAVE THE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS PHARMACY IS DEPLORIBLE WITH VERY RUDE STAFF! NO ONE WANTS TO DO THEIR JOB! WHY OFFER DRIVE-THRU PICK-UP IF STAFF IS NOT WILLING TO LET YOU KNOW IF A PRODUCT IS AVAILABLE AND TOO BUSY TO PULL IT FROM THE SHELF JUST OUTSIDE THE PHARMACY COUNTER? I BET THEY TAKE THE TIME TO GO ON BREAK! THEY WANT YOU TO PURCHASE IT ON-LINE AND IF THEY DONT HAVE IT...KEEP YOUR MONEY TILL THEY ARE READY TO REFUND IT TO YOU WEEKS LATER. DONT BOTHER WITH THIS STORE OR PHARMACY....CHOOSE ANY PHARMACY OTHER THAN WALGREENS.
