Staff don’t know where to find simple things

I was Financially mauled. I had bought a Carquest Alternator from Advance Auto Parts online on their recommendations because it had lifetime warranty. It failed so in order to get warranty replacement I had to either bring the failed one back or buy a new one and than bring the failed one back to get a full refund for the new purchase.When I brought the failed one back on Nov.13, 2020 sround 10.15am a lady who was I think a Supervisor would only give $135.00 credit it was $51.00 less than the my purchase and was unable to explain the Math.Later I found out the money was credit to my old credit card that was closed over 3 years that was on the old purchase.I may never see that credit again.This is totally unacceptable.

Bought a MAF sensor ($140) and was told by the mechanic it is either defective or only physically (not technially) fits my car. Installed with the OEM sensor ($300) and inmmediately fixed the problem. Tried to return the $140 sensor and was DENIED because it is under electronic category (read their return policy before buying!). So be cautious buying electronics, you are stuck with them if they dont work/fit you car.!Find another place with better return policy and even lower price or just go for the OEM parts if possible.

It was never have to worry about me setting foot in that store again. A few hours ago. Service clerk or whatever you want to call her was in the process of helping me and got a phone call. She start taking orders from customer over the phone and totally ignore the fact that I was there first. As long as I live in New Jersey I will never set foot in that store again

Everytime I call I’m put on Hold and left on hold for a long time until I give up. When I go in there everyone’s hanging out so I don’t see why I can’t get through on the phone. Terrible customer service. Will always go to pepboys and autozone over advanced will definitely pass the word on to my friends and family.

Went in today for a battery and alternator test after some car troubles the last few days. Called AAA and went to another Advance Auto Parts location before coming here and got no answers. The employee here, whose name I didnt catch, figured out the problem that was causing my battery issues from just a quick glance under the hood. Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My go to Advance Auto Parts in this area from now on!

Just had my battery replaced there. Both the gentleman at the counter and the one installing the battery were knowledgeable, courteous, and fast. Definitely recommend!

Great service. Small places but there customer service is great. I ask for a part which they took there time with no problem in searching if they had it and where it can be located at.

Terrible experience, bought a part on line, went to the store to pick it up and the person working told me I do not sell that part to my customers. I tried to return it and the system was not working to return on-line purchases. Plus it did not help when there was only one person working in the store. Waited over 45 minutes with zero success. I will not go there again!

Had a problem with my car and parked across the street. The staff seemed totally unconcerned and dismissive. They let me use a jumper pack, but had me walk back and forth across Rt.1 (in the rain). The jumper did not work and they just shrugged oh well.... Walked a few blocks over to Auto Zone explained my situation and they gave me a ride and tried all they could to help me (bad starter). I will not ever go here again...

Most of the people here are relatively nice and polite but I remember during one visit I needed help with measuring a cold air filter on my vehicle. When I asked one of the store clerks if he can give me a hand with measuring it he said to me heres a tape measure but I noticed he went outside to help a female.
