Helpful staff and good prices.

Overall the library manager and the assistant manager are great workers, very respectable, knowledgeable and hard-working. But the student body needs to be more sympathetic when it comes to technical system glitches/errors and not lose their patience with the bookstore workers for these inconveniences. Treat these great workers with respect and politeness and they will be able to provide you with great customer service.

I went into the bookstore to return an item. The lady was extremely rude and gave me an attitude. She was also very condescending. When she was finished processing my return, she was dismissive and said nothing else. VERY unprofessional.

Good place to shop if financial aid is covering your book costs. Do yourself a favor and order your books online for pickup at the beginning of the semester instead of standing in the check out line for a half an hour. Much faster.Otherwise, get your books online if youre paying out of pocket. As expected, bookstore has inflated prices.

The only time I would recommend anybody to buy anything from here is never, unless absolutely necessary (like a lab manual). Everything is ridiculously overpriced, so youre better off buying used textbooks. Access codes are chaper if you buy them directly from the publisher. I know that there is a buy/sell used textbooks mcc facebook page, take a look there. As for the normal stuff (food, school supplies, electronics, etc.), just go to literally any other store, it is still overpriced here. The staff are friendly and helpful though, cant complain about them.

Way too expensive. Robbing students on FA blind. On the other hand they had everything i needed. The staff was helpful. And even though the lines were long the cashiers had hustle. Everything flowed quickly.

Super helpful staff !!!! The store itself is super organized and I can find everything with ease. They also have a great variety.

Love the people that work there, they are extremely helpful... but a closed mouth doesnt get fed, so Im sure they can answer and help with all your needs!!

Try to look for a better priced option than this store. However the staff is always very friendly and quick. But there are still cheaper options out there.

Most of the people I interacted with were nice and very helpful. I was able to return a book that I accidently ordered for a semester ahead. However one of the managers, I wish I remembered her name, ordered the wrong Chemistry book for me when I specially told her the course number and section when she kept asking me what I was (this was for last semester) and she ended up charging me a Biology book. So I had to pay $20 extra than the price I originally paid for. The bookstore is already expensive enough when I had to get the book there, dont make it more tedious on students ordering the wrong books and giving the wrong information on how much they need to pay.

I don’t write reviews but this time I have to. Why do you guys have to be so rude? I was just here to grab a book. Was it so necessary to speak like speaking to an idiot? The guy standing in the textbook area, if you were having a bad day, then I’m sorry for you.

It was a great experience, a clean a very well presented facility with helpful and friendly staff.

Over priced items that you can find cheaper on Amazon and Chegg. Problems with policies that seem really unfair to students. If you purchase a book f.e. online for the price you want, they will over charge you for a new book, or just give you a price that isnt what you pay for, doesnt make sense to me. Customer service is mediocre and the staff consider you like sub-human. I mean what can you expect at MCC?

I dont like the new layout. Although recently taken over by Barnes and Noble, the staff was not warm and welcoming and their prices on books are expensive. On line book shopping, e-books etc. are highly recommended.

They have never given me the correct books for my classes. Otherwise the school merch is neat.

They have a great selection, and are consistently adding new products making for a RELATIVELY stimulating semester ON CAMPUS when you get bored and have a little time to spare

I mean its a bookstore what can I say. The prices are way to high and you can most of the time find the books on Amazon or chegg for a cheaper buy or rental. What sucks is MCC has a ton of MCC exclusive books so you get screwed and have to buy those. $$$$

All the books are available, but are expensive than what we can get from Barnes and Noble online

It has all my books for all my courses. Beware of the high prices tho because they charge like 200 per book.
