Finally got to review and share my experience with Ray Catena Jaguar of Edison. I was looking for F-type as a gift to my wife for March 8th Womens Day. I did my research and shop around comparing price from NY and NJ dealerships. I was impressed by professionalism and experience that Dan from the dealership demonstrate. He did research and found the car which was far better than I found in NY. Beat NY dealerships prices significantly and on top of it the car that he found for me was convertible.Now the part that I love to share is my “shopping experience”. It was such a pleasant and seamless process. Dan was professional, honest and these qualities are very rare in car industry. From all my car buying experiences that I had in my lifetime this one was the best I ever had. My wife was very happy with the gift.He also assisted me to get a custom plates and he handled all the process. Well, I would like to share my experience with RCJ of Edison. I leased a F-Pace 4 months ago and let me tell you, I love my SUV. Its everything I expected. I will give the selling process a five-star rating but the post-sale customer experience its the worse I have experienced after buying/leasing a vehicle. I leased a used SUV with 5K + miles on it. Got a good deal I think, but after I signed my contract, I was made aware the car only had one key. The salesman told me that a second set will be giving to me in two weeks at the latest. Well, it is now 4 months and my salesman (AD), has disappeared and I still don’t have the second key. I placed several calls/emails and backorder is the main reason for the delay. One of the managers (CR), is trying to help me but unless I call him, I don’t get any feedback. This is unacceptable but it is what it is. On the other hand, I have not recvd a call or an email from the maintenance department which means that I don’t know when I need to bring my car for service. Again, it looks like they care while the sale is happening but once the car is in your garage, you have to figure out everything else on your own. There are a few other things but I think you get the picture. One thing for sure, at the end of my term, I will go to another dealer even if I have to drive more. Thank you
What can I say other then my experience was AMAZING!! Dan Wang is such a nice guy, his personality is awesome . When I arrived the lady at the front was very hospitable offering refreshments until Dan was available. Dan had all the cars ready for me to drive, no pressure sales which is unusual for car dealerships. Just leased A certified pre owned Jaguar F type with James and he was the man! Ive had new luxury cars every year for the past 4 years and never have I worked with a sales rep as professional and down to earth as Jimbo. Despite the fact that while having a sense of urgency for getting a new car and getting in and out of there, he took the time to go over every option for me, help me decide what was financially most responsible while at the same time satisfying while searching for my weekend car and we did just that. I recommend going to James and asking for him as soon as you walk through the door!

One of the worst places to get car serviced at.*Had windshield replaced for Jaguar XF. The car was returned without panels attached on both side of windshield from inside the car. When I pointed out their mistake they quickly took car back to fix issue, but if something readily visible can be missed by their service team who knows what else they are overlooking when doing their alleged safety checks.* Apart from one good customer service experience all other encounters has been poor and below standard.
Meagan was very easy to deal with. I usually take a week to negotiate my cars and it took a total of 1 day from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Ive purchased and leased over a dozen cars from Ray Catena in the past and although this was my first time dealing with Anthony he made me feel appreciated for the business I have done with them in the past. I also have to share that is Anthonys post sale follow up was excellent. We had a few pending items after I drove the car off the lot but Anthony made sure to follow through on his commitment and even helped me with a few other items that came up!
The worst service I have ever received at a service center in my entire life (compared to my previous positive experience with Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Mitsubishi).If you did not purchase your car from Ray Cantena, DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. Special rules apply for outsiders (e.g., no loaner vehicles for warranty work; even if the car is new). These rules seem to extend to how they treat you as well (IMO: rude).If you have a Land Rover (Ranger Rover/Velar/etc.), DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. Not only did they not fix the issue I was having with my car, they offered no explanation other than Land Rover is working on a software fix. No follow up on a fix or what I should do. Nothing. A simple Google search would have resulted in a fix (which I told them about since this is a well known issue).Pro: They did pay for my Uber back home after they told me at the center that I wasnt eligible for a loaner since I didnt purchase my Velar from them. I did, however, pay for an Uber back to the center.
An exceptional experience. Made the leap from Lexus to Jaguar and wasnt 100% sure. Turns out we had a phenomenal sales consultant, Tom C, who I highly recommend. No pressure, just a lot of facts and answers. The entire process of decision making, deal, paperwork and delivery was easy and quick. Its been 3 weeks and really enjoying the trade up.
I was in a car accident at the beginning of October and my car was totaled. Figuring out what to do about a new car was the last thing I wanted to think about, but my experience at Ray Catena turned out to be the silver lining in the whole experience! Steven was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to making sure I got the absolute best fit for my current situation. The entire staff makes you feel like royalty. Ever since i asked for a dealer to reach out to the deliver of my car, it was just brilliant. As soon as i asked for a quote, James reached out to me and set up a time convenient for me and worked with me almost for 4 hours to find the car for me and explaining the features and why i should get something and not get something. The Ray Catena Jaguar of Edison staff, especially Service Advisor Amy, are outstanding professionals who went above expectation. Amy and the staff have proven themselves to be assets to Ray Catena Jaguar and are professionals with a deep-seated sense of determination and dependability. My experiences with the team led me to conclude that they are fervent believers of the principle that no problem or undertaking is insurmountable but the solution is just over the horizon. Along with the team, Amy exudes qualities of team players who possesses an energetic personality that allows them to be ingenious and innovative thinkers. Their desire to ensure that customers are treated with respect have allowed them to render service that is second to none.
I reached out to 4 jaguar dealers, Anthony relies within minutes. He addressed every question I had and email exchanges with me well into the evening making sure I had every question answered. When it came down to pricing he went to his manager for me and helped get my F type for me at my target budget. Anthony went out of his way to drive after hours to my home to sign the paperwork as my wife recently had surgery and wasn’t mobile. Within 48 hrs he showed up with my new jag, showed me all the basics and wouldn’t leave until he was sure I was absolutely thrilled. If you are on the market for a Jaguar, Ray Catena dealership is top notch and make sure you ask for Anthony if you want the best, honest service around!
This is my second Jaguar purchased and serviced from Ray Catena in Edison. The Jaguar brand is outstanding and Ray Catena service is attentive to your needs and makes every attempt to ensure your satisfaction upon completion of work. My recent experience was with Jaguar Corporate when I identified an issue with interior trim. Jaguar replaced it due to circumstances and followed up with me to ensure the replacement work done by Ray Catena was done to my satisfaction. GREAT CAR! GREAT SERVICE!
Just leased a 2018 Jaguar F-Pace from Jim Mull at Ray Catena Jaguar Dealership in Edison, NJ. Jim is the sweetest person and follows up with what youve asked and answers all your questions asap. I live in New York and went to him in New Jersey, because a lot of dealers from various makers, tell you they have what you want and dont; trying to push you what they have. Jim was able to get us the vehicle we wanted, complete all the paperwork online and we were able to pick it up the following morning, also returning our leased Mercedes ending in a few days. Saving us the trip and hassle. Drove in with our old lease and left with the new F-Pace.

I purchased a new Jaguar from Ray Catena Edison a few weeks ago. The salesman was so nice, answered all my questions and was not pushy at all. The customer service they offered is outstanding! There was no haggling over the price, they gave me their best price first and I told the salesman Id take it he came back and told me he found another $1500.00 savings they were offering! I would highly recommend this dealership and would go back to them for future purchases!
This is the best service facility I’ve ever been to. They offer all the conveniences one could ask for while waiting for their vehicle to be serviced. I left one star because they neglected to advise me of a recall on my vehicle while I was there for service and I had to find out from a 3rd party about said recall.

All paperwork was done electronically, no surprises when I walked in to finalize the deal. With a very unique situation of a long distance, international marriage, we knew shopping for a car wouldnt be easy. My husband, who is from (and lives in) England, and also works around the world, isnt in the country a lot, and often times when he is its without any sort of notice. When we decided it was time for a new vehicle, we knew that shopping for it would be tough. After inquiring online, and getting in touch with James Mull, we got all the information we needed and then some. All the way from in England, we were able to narrow down our SUV options, so that I was able to come back to Jersey and test drive them to see which I like best so that when Mark was back wed be ready to buy. I made an appointment with James, knowing that it could be anywhere from weeks to months until we were ready to buy. After explaining the situation to other dealers, they turned their nose up to me, and were less than interested in answering my questions or concerns. My mom and I (she came to the test drives with me) felt completely welcome and taken care of at Ray Catena of Edison, even though it was never in the plans to leave with a car. They took us on a test drive of multiple vehicles, and answered all the questions I had from both me and my husband. James sat there and ran the numbers, even though I made it clear that I wasnt doing anything until my husband came back. Well, we were SO blown away with the customer service, felt SO comfortable with the knowledge that James would take care of anything we needed, that through spotty cell service, thousands of miles away, my husband and I decided to get the car that day, on the spot. He still has yet to see or drive the vehicle, but is very happy with the purchase nonetheless, and cant wait until hes back in Jersey to drive it himself. We are beyond pleased with our 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, and with the customer service James Mull provided. We would recommend Ray Catena Jaguar in Edison to anyone and everyone, without a doubt. Miserable. Do not deal with this location. To summarize my experience, over the course of my 3 year lease, Ive dealt with a salesman who originally wanted to charge $30 per month more for an identical car from another Ray Catena dealer all while my brakes rusted out under 9k miles within the first year. I received the car with 100 miles and this car is garage kept 3/4 out of the year. This rust was due to the metal not being chemically treated. Ray Catena confirmed this was an issue but said I would have to pay to fix since this was wear and tear. Jaguar offered to cover 10% of the cost. For three years my brakes have squeaked.

The waiting area is extremely comfortable and a pleasure to relax if you have a problem with your vehicle. They gave me a loaner vehicle which was promptly there upon my arrival. All of the service representatives are friendly, knowledgeable and very dedicated to making the customer happy. Service manager was very helpful, gave me a loaner because an upgrade was needed to the media. Work was done sooner than expected. When they pulled out the car for me, I noticed that the rear right tire was almost flat. They took it back in and could not find any problem they just filled more air. Someone working on it should have checked the air pressure before returning it to the customer.
I called customer service for the past 4 days as I wanted to bring my jaguar for a repair. Customer service told me that the only person I could talk to is Mary Bell so customer service gave me her voice mail, I left a voicemail with my name and phone number to call me back (she never called back) then try calling again several times and there was always an excuse, either she was in a meeting or with a customer...then today (july 26/2019) I decide to call one more time, and once again, Mary Bell wasnt available, I asked the customer service lady if there was someone else that I could talk as Mary Bell was never available and she said no and she was very unpleasant the way she was talking to me... make me feel so uncomfortable.... I never wish to leave a bad review but the customer service was very bad.... and of course, they should have someone else...Im trying to bring business there but no one to help :(PS: in response to your reply below, I tried calling the number you left in your response to discuss further about my experience and the girl who answered the phone, had no idea about these reviews and didnt know who to transfer the call to.
I shopped around for a new Jaguar F Pace and Ray Catena of Edison won me over with their selection and care. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and did not stop until I was satisfied. Their dealership is by far the nicest one I have ever walked into and their service center can be confused with a 5 star luxury resort. It has been a long time since I purchased a new car and I am blown away how Ray Catena has transformed the purchasing experience. I will be a loyal and lifelong customer now.

I have recently graduated in the past year and was fortunate enough to land a great job, so I decided to lease myself a car being that I am a huge fan of driving. As I was shopping around for the vehicle I wanted I quickly was getting discouraged from many of the dealerships, Open Road, Bell, and Jack Daniels, all treated me as a child who was window shopping instead of the young professional I hold myself to be. My father being a loyal Ray Catena Mercedes customer suggested I take a look at Ray Catena Porsche. The minute I walked in I was greeted, asked if I wished for a beverage and asked if I needed assistance. They did not pressure me to any particular car but gave me all the facts on each and answered all my questions. Once I decided which car I wanted I sat down with the rep (Chris Violante) who was extremely knowledgeable about the cars and he worked out the best deal for me. This was my first car, being a Porsche,and my first full time job, it was a challenge to Chris and the guys at Ray Catena to get me approved, but they got it done and I could not be any more grateful. The biggest thing that drew me to Ray Catena was not one rep treated me any different than if an older individual came in, they are courteous and I could not suggest a better dealership to use.
Everything about this car buying experience was professional and seamless. Steve and Dan were patient with us as we explored a number of different options and at no time did we feel pressured or rushed. Even after the purchase we are still in touch with Steve as he has followed up to make sure that everything is working out with the car. Leased new JaguarFrom the moment I walked into Ray Catena Jaguar I was treated like a guest. I was politely asked if I needed help, and after responding, not yet, thanks, I was left alone to look at the cars. When I ultimately called in for a price, the process was quick and easy...no games, and no bargaining back and forth. I was given a fair price right from the start. I picked up my new car today, and it was an easy, quick experience. There was no last minute hard sales pitch for additional products or warranties. I signed the papers, received a quick tutorial from Mike, synced my phone, and I left.

Its rare that I take the time to write a review and compliment someone on a job well done, however Michael deserves recognition for providing attentive and stellar service. I told him what vehicle I wanted, and at what price...and he made it happen! He was honest and tenacious in trying to accommodate my needs from my first request to my last. Ive bought many cars in my lifetime and was never able to let my guard down during the process, with fear of being taken advantage of. He was not the typical salesman trying to make a sale. Instead, he focused on doing what was best for me. James Mull is the guy we approached. After our first great experience with him, I decided to call him when I needed another car and see what he had to offer and he was of excellent help. Prompt response to my text and very accommodating.We bought 3 cars altogether through James and each time had very good experience and never felt pressured.
Service department was very accommodating and friendly. I had planned to wait for my car which I was told would take 2 hrs. Rather than have me sit and wait( waiting area is comfortable) they shuttles me over to a local movie theater and picked me up after the movie! Who does that? Very satisfied with service as well

I stopped by at this dealer ship just to get some information about Jaguar and Land Rover. My lease was ending and I wanted to explore to other options. My husband and I met HAZI who is an amazing gentleman. First he listened to what I need and what I like to have then moved on to showed me different options. We talked about almost all of the cars they had and compared them as well. Finally; I found the car I want with everything in it (needed and liked to have). The service at Ray Catena Jaguar is a joke. Tried to set up a service appointment but was rudely told right off the bat that their policy is that they dont provide loaner vehicles to any customer who didnt purchase a vehicle for them (for any type of service). Apparently it doesnt matter if you purchased a new Jaguar, youll have to wait there hours until any type of service is completed because they seem to just want your money. Starting to question my new transition from BMW as I never experienced this type of problem with ANY BMW dealership whether I bought the vehicle from them or not!

I have been waiting for a software update for my f pace to correct the fact that my radio cuts off and the computer system shuts down. I was told to park,shut off the engine,get out and lock the door to restart the computer. This worked but how about the UK fixing the system. Their are a lot of complaints on the jaguar forum. The Attorneys General in all states should initiate a recall and sue Jaguar to correct this problem.
A search of my next luxury truck brought us to the Ray Catena Dealerships in Edison. I had done some research, but was undecided. At RC Jaguar, we were introduced to Jim. We checked out the Discovery Sport and the Jaguar F-Pace, and Jim took us for a test drive in both. He explained not only their salient features, but also the intricate technical & mechanical details. I returned to the dealership twice with questions, and for an additional test drive. Each time, Jim treated us with the utmost respect and patience; at no time did I perceive ANY pressure. One singular determining factor of why I got what I did - Jim Mull - his outstanding customer-focus, honesty, integrity, and consummate professionalism are truly exemplary.JT and Danny were also very helpful.

Poor experience. I recently leased a new Jaguar and there was a warranty issue. I had to wait a few weeks for the appointment and was told that I would have a loaner car, and so planned my day accordingly. Upon arrival I was told that there was no loaner car since I had leased the car from Paramus Jaguar and not Ray Catena. That was an issue since they had my car for a few days.To top it if my car was returned with issue still in tact!A Ray Catena rep called a few days after to ask about my experience and if the issue was resolved; I told her no and continued on with the above and that I was not happy. I requested that she have a manager call me to discuss this further. No call after 2 weeks.Poor service Ray Catena.
My husband and I were on the hunt for a new car. We knew we wanted an SUV with trunk space as well as a budget. Alan made the very frustrating and tedious process so easy and enjoyable. He got back to us every time we called or emailed and never sugar coated anything. He went above and beyond in trying to find us the perfect vehicle. Finally after weeks of looking Alan found us the perfect car! We are now the proud owners of a beautiful 2018 Jaguar F-Pace.

Very poor service, I test drive a jaguar one model up, they told me the only difference was the technology package... It was not true... more things were different compared to the car I got... very upset about it. Thenthey told me to pick up plates 3 weeks after just because I called and ask... I was on my way I decided to call to double check they were ready and they were not, its being almost a month since I bought the car and nobody calls me to pick up plates. Very poor service
Bad Service Overall - Dropped of my Jaguar to get the tires done, they didnt check the car to see if everything else was Okay. After they released the car to me, the Brake symbol on dashboard came on. Drove like that for 45 days since that was the next appointment they gave me and didnt have anything earlier available. They could have simply avoided both of our time & money if the technician did a thorough job in the first place.They called to tell me that my car was done, I came to pick it up and I was in a rush. I only came to learn that they again dont do a point check system that many service companies do. This is to check all the other basic components to make sure they are functioning well. If they claim they do, they hadnt again. My wipers were shot and then he, Mr. McCabe, said go outside and check if your wipers are changed. If not, Ill get you a new pair. Shouldnt he be doing that for me?I was in a hurry, so I said, Ill stop by another time.I emailed the service consultant, Mr. Conor McCabe requesting him to email me specs on a specific part. He didnt email me. Then I emailed him again and he still not respond. Then I called the service dealership to speak with him. He ignores my calls. I left him a message to call back. He forgot. I reached out fourth time, and told the receptionist the problem I was facing with him and it was then dealt with. He finally emailed me back with a part number. Not all service agents are unresponsive. Its only this one.
I have two vehicles purchased from Ray Catena: a Jaguar XK and a Land Rover LR4. There is a dealership closer to my home that I have tried and been consistently dismayed that anyone would provide such poor service for premium cars. I decided to make the longer trek (only about 45 minutes) to Edison, and I have not regretted it once. I continue to go there when I need something. I have no problem with getting a loaner, and they always get it right the first time.
I had a problem with my car and brought it back for repair. The service rep was very courteous and went out of his way to resolve my issue. I love this place and have two cars with them.

Frank Nodarse wins best of breed. We randomly met Frank 7 years ago in NYC while searching for a new car- we were looking to replace a BMW lease. Since then, Frank has become not only our go-to guy for Jaguars (or for explaining the differences compared to other new luxury vehicles to help us with decion making) but also for answers and solutions to any of our questions or concerns that have come up. There is no other reason to search for someone else, nor would we want to. Frank is a renaissance man- he is personable, flexible and generous with his time (wait...you are picking the car up at our garage @ 11 p.m. AND dropping off a courtesy vehicle?!) and he is never imposing. One would never expect to find a friend in your car salesperson, yet that is what makes Frank unique. We love Frank, he’s irreplaceable. So, for as long as we need a car, we do not need anyone else (and, if Frank keeps up his great work & there’s an F type under the Christmas tree, I won’t ever replace my boyfriend either. 😜)
I purchased my Jaguar in Madison.My husband took my car in for a service light. He was told since we didn’t buy the car for this facility wouldn’t be able to get a loaner car and need to leave car for weekend. I called the manager he was busy never called me back.Horrible customer service

From the moment I stepped into the dealership I had a good experience. I was greeted by a pleasant woman at the front entrance and she said she would get someone to help me out. I went in with interest in a Jaguar XE. There was an XE in the showroom and Alan Banjany came over while I was looking at it. I had already been to several other dealerships in the region over a couple months to get a good feel for the car and I must say the overall assistance and willingness to help really shined at Ray Catena Jaguar in Edison.After a few questions Alan said he would bring around a 20T Diesel for me to test drive since that was the model I was showing interest in. It was fairly late in the evening and they were about an hour from closing but I never felt rushed or pressured. We completed the test drive and sat down and discussed the available cars and my needs. Since I wasnt able to see the car that I ended up being most interested in since it was in a different lot he asked if I could come back the next day and he would have it here.It was ready when I arrived. The whole sales team including Dan(DM) were very helpful in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable with the whole process.I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a Jaguar to add this location to your list of places to car shop.

Past owner of luxury brand, Porsche, MB, BMW and Volvo from other dealerships. However Cassidy is more knowledgeable about cars than salespeople at other dealerships. Previous purchase 2017 Jaguar F-pace S from Ray catena jaguar in Edison location. After shopping around for 2 months went to Ray catena. Deal was closed in 5 days. This time went to dealership. Cassidy; worked with us with package we liked. Purchased 2019 I-pace EV400 HS. Entire process was done under 3 days. Got a great deal. Do not waste time shopping around. Just go to Ray catena. You will always get the best deal. Most friendly delearship and will treat you like a family.
