I called Monday morning because I had two garage door openers that needed replacement and one of the doors kept getting stuck and closing it was starting to get to be a job in itself and the other door was dead. David told me his would come down in the afternoon. The employee came down replaced the hardware and got the one door working for me the next day bright and early he came back and replaced both garage door openers with brand new ones and all the required remotes and keypads and brand new hardware required. I have to say both of them are very professional, the job start to the end was a total pleasure, oh and his prices are incredible because I had called other places for quotes and they werent as good. I will not only use them again in the future but totally recommend this business for your garage door issues, To David and his employee I give a 10+ for work/price and speed

There are not a lot of companies that can stand by their name but Reliable Garage Doors & Gates Inc. is exactly that, reliable! I had an awesome experience with David and his team. I put an inquiry in online and within a few days David gave me a call. He came the same day he called and took a look at my garage opener. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done, gave multiple options and prices. I knew I needed a garage opener and the price was right (by now I had about 4 different quotes). I asked when they can install the opener and he said right now! I was beyond thrilled. They completed the job in less than 2 hours and everything has been working perfectly since (its been about 2 weeks). They are super reliable, quick, efficient and fair with their prices. I had them install a new garage door and a motor to my home (I didn’t have one) and the work was done so well. In addition, they cleaned up after the project and left the garage looking great. HIGHLY recommended! Another thing, their distributor shipped the wrong insert and they came back the next day and installed the inserts. Great customer service! Finally, before they installed anything they took a photo of my house and showed me virtually what colors and doors would look correct on my home. It was spot on. Well done and again HIGHLY recommended!

I initially hired someone else to fix my garage door. That guy installed a new garage door opener and changed all chains and pulleys after 3 visits. However the quality of his work wasnt good and the door closed quite heavy. That guy told me it was the problem of my door and he had adjusted the opener as much as he could have. Then a few months later a loud clapping noise appeared when I opened that garage door. At this point I had enough with that guys service and I asked Reliable Garage Doors & Gates to visit.David showed up with his helper the next day as promised. He quickly identified the problem and made a few adjustments. The door started working much better right away. He also pointed out the previous guy had missed installing safety cables and suggested I contact him to get this corrected. The next day David called me to follow up and I confirmed the door worked well. All in all David was superb. He was polite, efficient and very skilled. The service fee he charged was very reasonable. I’m late with writing my review. My garage door was installed a couple of months ago. I saw someone in my neighborhood had a new garage door installed and I rang the bell to ask who did the work (I was surprised she answered during Covid). She gave me the vendor information and told me how pleased she was with their work. I have had quite a few bad vendor experiences over the years, so usually go with a referral even if the price is higher. David was very responsive in getting back to me with an estimate and explaining everything he needed to do and why. The estimate was a little higher than I originally wanted to pay, but it was worth it. David’s and his team did a great job! I had a concern s out about caulking for facing and reached out to David. Reliable is a perfect word. David came for the estimate on time and provided a very competitive price. We agreed on an install date and he even installed before that. The garage door is better quality than you get at a big box store and the warranty is all inclusive. I went with the LiftMaster 8500w opener which is very quiet and has great safety features. The installation was FAST and Im very satisfied with David and his installers work. This is the Company you want to do the job. I strongly recommend them.

If you want anything other than a Clopay garage door, this is the company for you. I gave David two stars because he was kind enough to drive to the office to meet us to discuss our job. I didnt realize they usually come to you for the quote. Other than that, Ive been getting the runaround for over two weeks. Supposedly Clopay takes a long time to get back to him with a quote, but I had no problem with another installer. Not sure their name should be Reliable.

Our garage door opener was old and had some issues. Found Reliable online and called based on their reviews. Spoke with David on the phone and explained what was going on, and set up an appointment for a free estimate. He showed up on time, took a look at the system and explained how each part of it worked (or in some cases why it wasnt working). Gave me several options and was upfront about what each option would cost, and what the benefits were. I wont say the price was cheap, but based on research I did before and after, I do think it was fair. I decided to go with the option he had on his truck because I wanted to get it done, but David didnt pressure me to choose one over the other (or even to make any purchase at all if I wasnt ready to). He was nice enough to squeeze me in before his next appointment and do the install right then. Walked me through the system after he was done and even set up the opener in my cars rear view mirror before he left.
