I went here to get a few items from produce. This used to be my home location for years! But today was a disappointment. I went to pick up a cucumber they were soft and then I picked up another one and my finger went through a gooey mess! I was grossed out because I flipped a few over and many of them were spoiled. I needed an orange and red pepper. They were all soft and moldy at the top stem. So I just dumped it back and left. Went to my new local shop rite and it was a different experience, got all the items I needed. Its a shame to see how the maintenance of produce has declined at the Edison location:(

Good options to get your groceries, ensure you have the app downloaded to grab the latest coupons. Decent in house bakery to get bread or cakes... enjoy shopping

Nice size supermarket with all items that is easy to locate. With a huge parking lot, no worries on waiting unless your looking for close spacing to the main entrance. A bit crowded during peak time and weekends. Off hours are better if you have a lot of items to get and lines may be longer.

While I regularly visit this ShopRite, I was sorely disappointed with the lack of interest demonstrated by the staff during a quiet afternoon visit. Vendors who were checking their shelves to set up their shelves were more welcoming and helpful than the employees that I attempted to engage with. Specifically, the silent associate who was supposed to be assisting with self check out. Based on the lack of interaction by this employee, I can understand why technology will eventually phase out these people as they are clearly NOT interested in helping people with kindness but prefer to always seem annoyed that they are being asked for help. Sadly disappointed.

This place is smaller then the other shoprite in the area. Has pretty much all that may need. The staff now are young and disregarding. If I dont have to interact with them I will be OK. The cashiers are pretty good. Only a few actually make you feel glad to shop there. The online pick is HORRIBLE. It is a hit or miss. Seems the staff in that department cannot get the orders ready on time. Its better to just shop for yourself and save the fee you have to pay for the service.

I drove here to try their fried chicken. It was very good. Not overcooked and didnt taste like old oil. 2 ShopRites closer to my home have not been good lately. Worth the drive.

Decent place . Make sure you got the right item label at the cold cut department. Just got charged 5 dollars plus more on a cold cut because they put wrong label, higher price per pound item, on my order. Then went back to the counter, changed the label, went to Customer Service and waited for a refund.

I like this one because has more varieties then others. But anyway all ShopRite has a good costumer service and good stuff.

Nice store as always. Generally, well stocked and also has reasonable stocks for items for the weekly deals.Here also, check out takes longer time ! Also, they stock deal items and other similar items together. This creates confusion for customers and delays at the register.

I used to go to a local stop and shop but the store is filthy and they dont take care of their cold cuts (read: they have had Oscar Meyer pre-packaged deli meats that have gone grey multiple times).This shop rite is clean, bright, and everything has been fresh every time Ive gone there. The prices are great too.Im just thankful to have them so close when my alternative is so lackluster.

Just your average nice and friendly local store. Its small, so the choices are limited and the prices can a be a bit high with some things, but then there are things that are surprisingly cheap. The people are super friendly and the customer service is great. I only gave it 4 stars b/c of the choices being limited.

Today I came to shop rite. When I encountered a problem with the automatic cash register, I tried to ask the staff for help. A long-haired male staff looked at us and lowered his head to continue chatting with the female cashier.I think you need to rectify the staff！！I highly doubt that we would come back in the future to give it another go

Since moving here in 2017 this has been my go too supermarket. They are rarely out of anything I need and they recently installed a self check out which is very helpful.One thing Id love to see changed here is the music they play in the store. When I first started coming here it was all 80s music which was fine but they recently changed it and now its just seems like someones bad mix tape is playing now. PLEASE someone update the music here. Thank You.

Ever since the renovation on items and aisles being much more organized place has been even better to shop there. The membership is free and it even helps you get discounts on items for purchase. But that’s every ShopRite.

Visited 8.29.2021 at 11.30 pm. I get it its late they close at 12, but come on you need to put an efficient cashier. Or at least someone who wants to be there. And for managment. Come on getting your hands dirty once in a while will not hurt you. You see a looooong line and just walk back and fourth like its not there. Cashier cannot ring up cans of tuna! Slams paper and presses store register like she is annoyed by the customers🙄. Thats whatbi get for going to edison shoprite rather than my usual shoprite of woodbridge

Very nice Shoprite. Its a big store with an enormous selecting and a pharmacy. While an older store it is well maintained.

When I first started coming here I hated this store because I could never find the things that I wanted. Couldnt find them because they didnt carry them. I was used to shopping at Stirling ShopRite where they had everything. Eventually its where I go because its closest to where I live unless I go to Wegmans. Anyway, Ive adjusted..lol

From out of state.Shopped there twice helping out for a sick relative... couldnt have been more pleased. A little tight inside, but well organized with a WONDERFUL produce department and fabulous seafood and meat selections! Nothing like the supermarkets at home!

I used to love this store. I dont know who does the butchering these days, but the pork chops with a bone might as well be boneless. They cut off every centimeter of fat on it It looks exactly like those dried out boneless pork chops except it has a bone. Get a new butcher please!

Nice, big and clean, not crowded, plenty of parking space, it got Americans, Western and Asian food with Seafood. Meat and Produce department plus a bakery and Korean food court.

Great place to do your regular shopping. They dont have a salad bar but thats not such a bad thing now (since covid-19).

Its a World Class Shop Rite as it reads on the front entrance . Not a super large supermarket . Plus bathrooms are available to public

Additional self checkouts make it much quicker to get out. Of course, you have to be willing to listen to a robotic voice telling to place the item in the bagging area and you have saved 20 cents...They have rearranged so,a aisles, and its actually easier to navigate now. Oh, and they have Biscof CRUNCHY cookie spread!!! YAY!

Was in the store browsing but this manager with a cart was impatient and on my tail. I moved aside to let him through and he made a rude gesture as if I stopped him doing anything remotely interesting. You get paid by the hour you miserable man. So much for social distancing at this store from management. No hand sanitizers or wipes at the door or anywhere in the store. Close it down.

This is the grocery store that I visit most frequently. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The store is pretty clean. Lately, several items on the shelves dont seem to have a price tag. This is hugely inconvenient when shopping on a limited time schedule. Overall, shopping at this store is a good experience and I generally find everything that Im looking for.

Best ShopRite in my area! Clean, great staff, great organization of shelves and departments! Would shop again!

This ShopRite is great. Has essential after you walk through the entrance. Mask, gloves and hand sanitizer. All for a very reasonable price. They have everything in stock and some items overstock like paper towels. The employees there are friendly and very helpful.

Open early in morning layout is similar to other world class stores. Parking was plentiful unlike other shoprites closer to my home. I will be stopping back instead of newer one closer to my home.

I will never buy any meat from this store. I bought a turkey today. The expiration date is August 20. The smell of the meat is so bad. Its rotten.

Nicely decorated store, excellent prices and a good shopping experience make this ShopRite a winner (compared to most other grocery stores) I have been to.

Each visit is hit or miss. Either youre in and out with no problems, or you just want to hang yourself in the middle of produce. There is no in-between with this ShopRite.

Well stocked, good selection of meats, fairly fast checkout times and now they have self checkout.

Well I had emailed ShopRite of Edison a few times about this but I guess they just don’t care. They make those ready-made sandwiches called roast beef for sloppy Joe’s and they never put enough Russian dressing on it. Come on ShopRite are you gonna make me return of one of your sandwiches one day? Why do you have to go and ruin a good thing?

The store is always really clean & the customer service is good... That keeps me coming back to this location...

I always enjoy shopping at this location. I shopped for years at this Edison ShopRite store.

Arthur the lazy and entitled cashier was the worst employee of a Shop Rite I have ever experienced in 35 years. He seemed completely uninterested in bagging any of my groceries and when I asked if he was going to help me, he shot me the icy eyeball and said first you have to pay. Really? Even after I did pay, he slowly attempted to fill one bag while I bagged all the rest of my groceries. Being treated poorly like this is unacceptable. I will no longer be shopping at the ShopRite of Edison.

Good super market like walmart but prices were on a bit higher end compared to walmart.
