Great knowledge, service and professionalism by the staff. I only found 1 of the 3 items I went for and the salesperson knew where to locate the other 2 items. They were able to satisfy my order and this allowed me time to look around for some other needed stuff.

I am a brand new rider who just graduated the MSF class, about to get my first bike. Needing a new jacket and a pair of gloves, obviously Im overwhelmed by the options available.Not long after I wandered around the store, JD greeted me and offered help. He is very knowledgeable and was able to quickly locate a specific jacket that fit me very well. He also made sure I got the discount from the MSF and explained everything clearly. It almost felt like I should be paying him for his level of expertise and courtesy.Overall Im super happy with this visit because no amount of reading research I could do myself (especially as a beginner) would enable me to find my perfect fit. In this day and age when most people are so used to online shopping, its really a shock to me to actually walk into a physical store and get instant personalized recommendations.Anyway, would definitely visit again!

The whole staff is knowledgeable, friendly and (most of all) focus on the safety benefits, pros and cons of their products (rather than pushing the most expensive items). This was my first motorcycle shop for gear and accessories - and I plan to always return here first for any future products for my bike.

Great experience first time in the store and was being helped by a young lady named Bryce. She was very informative as I am a first time rider and needed a starter kit (helmet, gloves, and Bluetooth head set) and didn’t know first thing about what I was looking for when it came down to different types of helmets. Would definitely recommend cycle gear in Edison and return in the future.

Ordered tires online and had them installed by the guys here. JD helped me and he was great. Helped me check out some gear and got my tires put on in in a reasonable time.

Cycle gear stores are easy and convenient to shop at, and meet all my needs for clothing, footwear and helmets. The staff in all the stores that ive used are helpful and friendly, but always keep it pressure free. They also alert us to new gear.

Love the store, and their salespeople are friendly and helpful! I always feel like Im a kid in a candy shop.

Went late in the day on Sunday and was surprised how the staff greeted me upon entry. Also asked immediately if I was looking for something specific, even though they were busy with another customer. Not sure who helped me, but bought a phone mount and glove liners. Very pleased, will be back again. Its nice to buy things online, but its also nice to see what you are buying.

Helmet WhispererWe went to get my wifes helmet adjusted and herd Kevin was the man to see. What can I say, he was the most knowledgeable person in the store and took the time to get to know our problem with the helmet and made a few adjustments/ suggestions. Not only did he fix my wifes helmet but was helping every other employee passing by as they all seemed to come to him with questions. He is a huge asset for this business and is too bad he only works on Sundays. So many customers would have an awesome client experience if he was around more and Im sure sales would increase as well!! I manage a luxury retail business and would do whatever it took to keep an employee like him happy and train him to grow with my organization. He should be running his own store!Go to this location and if you can go on SUNDAY when Kevin is working, you will get the best service from a very knowledgeable man!Great job Kevin we will be back as long as you’re working there.I drove 32 miles to the Edison location because the one near me in Hasbrouck Heights has a bunch of people that dont know what’s going on. Their service is poor, and they just dont want to take the time to really listen to what you are looking for or what issues your having with their product. They made a lazy attempt to fix my wifes helmet and was not surprised when the problem continued. I have walked out of that location multiple times thinking how much business they must lose yearly due to poor training and what seems to be a lack of desire to help customers which must stem from the Store Managers lack of leadership.

She guided me in purchasing my 1st full face helmet. I would have purchased the wrong size had it not been for her. She also installed my communication system in my helmet in minutes, which would have taken me hours. I will absolutely shop here in the future and happily tell my friends about the great experience I had there today!

Went to buy a tire they had it in stock took the tire off the bike and brought it in with me not only did I get a great price on the tire cheaper then anywhere online but also a better tire. Staff was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. Also only 25 bucks to put the tire on the rim and balance great store dont waste your time going else where if there is something you need they have it would give 10 stars great experience will be going back.

Great selection of gear and great staff. Spent around 30 minutes talking and asking questions when i was buying motocross armor, and I spent about the same amount of time when I bought a new helmet. I’ve been to a lot of places in the area and these guys definitely have a larger selection than most shops I’ve been to plus the staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant, Well worth your time

I drove here from Brooklyn New York. The store has quite a large selection of gear which is well assorted. I dont know if the employee gets paid on commission but he was a great salesman. Knew his stuff, was energetic and loved motorcycles.

Went in just to get an idea of helmet pricing. Was welcomed immediately upon entering, and spent about 20 minutes asking questions and trying on helpers. Will Definitely be coming back to buy my helmet here.

Amazing customer service.I went three times to Cycle Gear and I am a first timer with little knowledge about gear. I brought a friend with me to ensure that I do not get ripped off. There was no need for that. I was taken care of very well by knowledgeable associates, namely Nelson and Jenni.They didnt try to sell me things I dont need, nor did they push items on me. Both took their time to enlighten me about gear, try on different styles and price ranges of gear, and finally let me decide on what I really need/want.The first and second trip I made from NY to Edison was close to closing. Even after the closing time, they patiently kept the store open until I was finished.Once again, amazing customer service and great prices (did my research). I wont hesitate to go back again.
