Today I was looking for Christmas music for my piano students. I had made a list the list of books I wanted but when I saw all the choices in the display of Christmas pieces and duets, I tossed my list and started selecting a nice stack of beautiful books. My students will be thrilled! Steve Paul was very helpful, as always, and I went home with a bag full of great new pieces.

Susan and Scott were great, patient and attentive. We went in to look at a parlor guitar and found a piano! Susan was kind enough to measure the piano for us to make sure we could find space for it. Overall very helpful and knowledgeable staff as well as competitive prices and extensive sheet music selection.

They were great and very helpful when we got our sons trombone. My son is enjoying learning to play his instrument and the price is just right. Thank you!

Edit-The owners did reach out. For some reason my messages werent delivered and they are doing everything possible to remedy the situation so it doesnt happen in the future, so they are making an effort to correct things. Offered a free setup on my new guitar. Will give them another chance in the future. Do believe it was a technical issue.Sent a request if they could order a guitar from Gibson for me. They did respond and I was told they could. When I responded with the model I was interested in I never got a response back. I sent another message to see if the got the information I sent, again no response. Sweetwater.com got the $5,000 sale. Very disappointed they never responded, apparently Edmond Music isnt interested in making sales.

Wow! How exciting it was to find a music store that actually had sheet music and books that you could pick up and touch. The gentleman at the store was very knowledgeable and very helpful. When I checked out I even got a tote bag in which to carry my purchases.I didnt look at any of the instruments, because I was on a rather short schedule, but I passed some beautiful pianos. I highly recommend Edmond music.

Ive had better experiences in pawn shops. If you are a left-handed player like myselfand have a 2k+ budget, do NOT go here. Instead of giving options like ordering they tried to tell me to learn right-handed...however, they have some beautiful Right-handed only guitars.

I spent 45 years in the Musical Instrument Industry in virtually every capacity you can imagine from retail to USA Director of Sales for the largest instrument maker in the world. Any success I achieved could be traced back to my time with Mike Gilliam. He deserves all the accolades. I was working with Mike and his first store on South Bryant in Edmond and remember how tough it was. He was always resourceful and he always took care of me. Great place to go if you need anything for band instruments. I play several words and they have always had what I needed. The staff are great and knowledgeable. The sheet music selection is great, and the prices are fairly reasonable. Sure, you could buy it on Amazon for a few dollars cheaper, but its worth the few extra pennies to go here.

There arent very many options in places to get musicians supplies nearby, but its not a bad place to do so.

I walked in knowing what I wanted and had no idea of the number of high end equipment they stock including guitars which is what I purchased. There was a very real sense of sincerity in their desire to serve me as a customer and define the importance of locally owned stores. The prices are as good or better than any and you have the satisfaction of knowing they are there if you need help. I won’t shop anywhere else for any music related items.

Their work is the character jewel and in the time of dire straits a professional is needed to take care of the immediate technical needs.Edmond Music has been my hub for any musical knowledge base answer, idea or process in my imagination. Will this set-up work? Can it be done live on stage? What pedal is used to get this sound? It feels good to have musicians working with musicians to make music. There is no substitute for the opinion, suggestion or input of a musician who has played live. These guys are real, if you have a technical problem with an instrument they will troubleshoot and give a honest, straight forward conclusion to enhance any studio, live or practice set. Fast and excellent service. They restrung and did some fine tuning on my grandpas old guitar, and recently did some fantastic set-up work on a new banjo. Went in for a restring and setup for my acoustic guitar. I was treated kindly and professionally. The staff did good work and never tried to push additional sales on me while I waited.

Rented to own a violin. Paid over $500 over the rental period until it was paid off. Still in the exact same condition. My daughter stopped playing the violin and they only wanted to give us $100 to buy it back. Don’t EVER get anything from here. They will rip you off. BUY YOUR INSTRUMENT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Hands-down best music store in OKC!! Theyve been around for 20+ years and their staff know ALL aspects of music, and know what makes a quality instrument. They dont deal in gimmicky toys, so go to the chain stores for that, but if you want high-end instruments, check out EM for sure! I make look elsewhere or online, but then I order from EM because they stand behind their sale and give support long after. Seriously, these guys know their stuff. They can order anything they dont have in floor stock, and are always competitive on price.I dont know why some people had a bad experience, maybe theyre not used to being in a store where people actually LOVE music?? EM doesnt try to sell you anything. If you have a question, just ask, but they dont bug you and they understand making decisions on instrument purchases shouldnt be rushed. I guess everyone can have a bad day, but I personally love the staff at EM! Very knowledgeable and honest, they tell you how it is. I wouldnt BUY anywhere else.Thanks EM!!! You guys rock!

I drove my 14 year old daughter to Edmond Music for a string for her violin, not sure what the stores hours were, we saw they had closed several minutes earlier and without even thinking about trying to get their attention or to get them to open, one of the staff unlocked the door and came over to the car essentially insisting that they be allowed to get us what we were after. After working retail for years, I was shocked at the level of customer service going above and beyond and far exceeding my expectations.

I bought a guitar here with an American Flag on it. It plays almost as good as it looks... And it looks AMAZING! I will never buy another guitar anywhere else.

The drum selection is not huge. For drummers, this is a good place to pick up sticks or something small if you need it asap. The store seems to have a good selection in other instruments but the drum selection was kind of disappointing

The owner snatched a guitar out of my hand and said I didnt look like someone who could afford it. I was treating the beautiful guitar extraordinarily careful keeping it off the copper rivets of my jeans. have shopped at edmond music all of my life and I no longer will, now I will drive all the way to Oklahoma City and go to Guitar Center for some actual service.

By far the worse for own to purchase.The customer service when “bookkeepers” aren’t present is one loop of hot air that tries to confuse you and use contract jargon as a device for avoidance and compliance.Was told by a person when I called that my contract would be over February and here we are August and two times in the past week I was charged $94 then $50 again today.Walked out unresolved with charges still pending.I should of just got one off of amazon for $80 instead of this used $800 which no one is impressed about as my first viola.I should just shoot the person who suggested this place.

The men greet and offer to help satisfy musical needs in a kind and welcoming manner. Bruce, is the man to go to for all your instrument quirks. Hell clean, adjust, repair, and replace pieces to return proper function to your instrument. I brought an instrument I hadnt played in decades for repair and received it in excellent condition. Edmond Public Schools music directors refer students to this store, not only for music and attachments, but also for Bruces workmanship. You wont be disappointed.

I have had nothing but fantastic service from Edmond Music.Example: I called this March about a grand piano that we had in an upcoming estate sale. Now, Edmond Music didnt carry (nor even service) this line of piano, but the folks at EM were happy to refer me to a competitor who DID. (Now THATS what I call customer service!)I have found EMs tuning and other service rates to be very, very competitive, and the staff friendly and helpful to a fault.Strongly recommended local company.

We didnt feel like driving all the way down to guitar center and thought wed stop by and check out Edmond Music - being new to the area, wed never been inside. The staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. My husband found an accessory for his drum set that would have cost twice as much elsewhere. They have a great selection of instruments and sheet music. Overall, Im very impressed and we will make this business our first stop when searching for musical gear; supporting local businesses is always a good thing anyway!

Customer service is very poor and lacks professional employees. This is not saying that they are not knowledgeable on products they sell but how they approach customers in a professional manner. This is consistent with every visit.Simply put, go to Larsons music or guitar center get good customer service, go to Edmond music get bad customer service.

Worked with Jay to purchase a new Taylor 410ce. What they lacked in sales pressure was made up with hospitality and experienced knowledge. Cant forget the great price. You can skip guitar center altogether. Glad I could shop local too.

Over the years I have bought several things from Edmond Music. Ive bought an Amp, a Taylor Guitar, Harmonicas, Guitar FX peddles. Strings for both guitars and Dulcimers, Music books and so on. Ive always been treated well in this store. The people are knowledgeable, and helpful and treat you like a person. I will continue to shop here for my instrument and music needs.

They have lots of music for all instruments and everything from band instrument supplies to pianos. Large store I almost always visit when Im in town. Love this place
