We made a phone reservation with a a negotiated mileage price for a one-day rental and were told charges are not made until the truck’s return. Home Depot employees in charge of Penske rentals did not know how to complete the rental agreement without assistance from a Penske representative. The price quoted in the reservation was considerably less than what we were told when we went to get the truck. We spoke with a Penske rep who told us the policy is to pay upfront. The Home Depot employee was unable to see anything in the contract because it could not be printed.
Penske is a joke. We order months in advance and they never have the right vehicle. Would use Ryder but we are stuck with these fools due to a corporate contract. FYI- dont take it out on the Home Depot people, Penske is the one who always screws up.
