Great place to get a new radio in your car, we went there back in 2020 to replace our car’s old radio system and to this day we still love it, They even have CarPlay & Android Auto systems.

Im pretty sure they blew the subwoofer i took to them to install

Called on a Monday about a specific system. They confirmed that their other brand “viper” was what system to use and that they had the system in stock. Made an appointment the following Saturday and when I arrived I was told that “viper” didn’t make a systemFor my vehicle and the system I needed was actually the one I originally requested. For the correct system I needed it was twice the price they quoted me and they would have to order it and I’d have to come back again in a week. Had they known what they were doing and ordered the correct system they would have had it when I arrived. They have no clue what they’re doing. If they can’t get the part right how do you trust them to install it correctly!!!

Would feel comfortable if there were more women working there. I had someone help me check out some demo stereos then he just walked back to the desk to play with his phone. His demeanor was less than courteous and appeared like he didn’t want to help or do his job. I had to wave down another representative and he was more helpful.I would recommend ladies to go with a guy friend. Maybe they’ll be taken more seriously and reduce the skeevy feeling an all-male environment brings.

I came by today to check on getting speakers for my car or to see if I needed it done but when I arrived they came out adjusted my speaker and my sound on my new stereo that I bought from them a year ago and it sounds crisp and clean. Saved me tons of money just with a few adjustments. Thank you guys you are always giving the best customer service!

This place is amazing. Best prices in town especially if you’re on a budget. I came in looking for a stereo for my lil whoopty. Jazzy ended up helping me out and he was VERY knowledgeable and got me exactly what I needed. He hooked me up and price matched an item I found online. His energy was on point. Best Stereo Shop Ever! They helped me the very day I brought my car in. They installed the stereo perfectly and even included an extra charging port for free! The customer service here is unreal! I even called 3 years later and asked for a receipt for the stereo (for insurance purposes) and the individual pulled my receipt up, texted it to me, all within 2 minutes! Unreal! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come here again when I need an upgrade! AAAAA++++++++

I just got my second system put in with the guys at stereo depot. Jazzy helped me out and I get everything set up and scheduled quickly, efficiently and professionally. Once installed they walked me through the new equipment and how to use it and when I had questions after using it for a day, they took time to have me bring it by and address everything I needed. I’ll be using these guys for all my vehicles and refer them out.

Very unsatisfied with my installation and the time wasted by making me wait another HR and when they told me my car would be ready by 6, the bass speaker in the back is not connected now I have to go back and deal with them 🤦 very horrible service, run away, the people at the front desk dont care about you once you pay

I wouldnt take anything to these guys not only did they overcharge for the job but they cracked my dash in half and when I went to bring it to his attention he pointed to some small print on the rec saying that they arent responsible for cracking dashes on cars over 10yrs old this is after they sold me a head unit so out of date you cant even use the mirror function because the app isnt compatible with the newest Android update.i checked with other stereo installers and asked if cracking your dash was normal with the type of install they did and everyone of them said there was no reason they should have cracked my dash.i even went to there other store and got a written quote for the same job and was quoted 100 less and after bringing it to his attention was told that he(the owner)wouldnt do anything so I told him I would have to take him to court and his reply was that I was just trying to make him mad and that I was all talk and wouldnt do anything!boy is he in for a big surprise.

Great place! I had an issue with my alarm system. Car wouldn’t start. They asked me to bring it in and they would take care of it. They fixed the issue right on the spot no questions asked.

Everybody here was very pleasant and helpful. I was able to get my car in on the same day for a Head unit installation, backup camera, and steering wheel control integration. Unfortunately, when I brought my car in at 4pm, they said that the installation would take about 1-1.5 hours. They close at 6:30, and its now 7pm, and my car still isnt done. I probably wouldnt have waited, if it was going to take this long. Hopefully the quality can surpass my expectations.

Got a stereo, amp and subwoofer installed by the guys at stereo depot and I am definitely not impressed. The lack of professionalism and clean work is mind boggling. It looks like they just threw it in with no care. I would not recommend having anything installed by these guys.

Went in and Jazzy was straight forward. He knew exactly what I needed to do to upgrade my 2005 complicated Tundra stereo. I bought steering adapter, stereo, module, stereo mount kit, trigger interface, for 250 out the door.

Had a rocky start at First but I guess I didnt communicate my needs effectively. Talked with management Ave they really took care of me. My truck sounds amazing with Rockford throughout. Great job guys keep up the good work. I highly recommend.

Service seems good, till you pay. Then comes the excuses and they give you the runaround. Their words were professional installation, but my car was torn up. Tore holes for speakers, broke panels, then cover up the 8 in hole with a 12 in grill that looks ridiculous. Ordered a dash panel almost worth 200 and doesnt even fit properly. Id say you can do the math, but Im too embarrassed to say how mucht total i paid.

Ive had many cars tinted but I heard these guys were good from a friend. So I came here to tint my windows. They originally were charging me $290 which to me is pretty high. I said if they are really good itll be worth it. I arrived then they charged me $340. Very high priced tint. I had to work at 6pm so I didnt really have time to find someone else to tint my windows. It was 12pm. They said my car would be ready by 5pm. I called at 4:45 and was told it would be ready in an hour or two. I payed top dollar because they said it be ready way before 6pm. As I look at the windows now I see so many air bubbles. They put tint on my old tint that they didnt fully remove. The new tint isnt even perfectly aligned. By far worst tint I ever received. Do yourself a favor save your money and go somewhere else. If you are not middle eastern they will try to over charge you just a heads up. All my middle eastern friends are shocked that I was charged so much. One worker even stated I should have been charged $500 for my tint. Just ridiculous.

Ollie and David were both very helpful In helping me pick out the best sound system, the tinting they had done looks AMAZING and torro did an awesome job installing my sound system ! I am beyond happy with the outcome all around ! 10/10 recommend !

This is a great place to do business, the staff is great and they go that extra mile if need be. I had a stereo put into my old Cadillac, then they told me they could also fix the Windows so that they would go up and down. Product and installation was great. How ever there knowledge of the financing was not very good. I was told I would be paying one price but once I talked with the finance company it was more. The tint and radio was awesome and clean

This is by far one of the best car audio shops I have ever gone to, they have such a wide variety of high-quality items and such knowledgeable staff that they make every other shop look like a rundown swap meet. My friend and I dropped off his 11’ Challenger and my 17’ Tacoma for new sound systems and we are 100% satisfied. All work was done in the time frames they gave us, even with their busy schedule. The Challenger’s new Pioneer NEX radio is awesome and the 2 subs sound amazing.Also, super impressed with the quality and install of the JL Audio Stealthbox they recommended that is now in my Tacoma. Price was overall good. 5 stars, highly recommend.

John and everyone here are friendly and very helpful. My back up camera had stopped working. I purchased a new license plate camera and they installed it. Work was done quickly and price was very reasonable.

Eddy and John were great. They greeted me with the highest level of service and hooked me up with a nice radio+installation cheaper than most places in San Diego. Everyone that worked there definitely set a friendly atmosphere and they take the time understand what it is your looking for.

There were just a few minor issues and the manager was able to rectify and make things right.

Stopped by to get a small part fixed on my auxiliary port. Carlos showed me how I could repair it my self. Decided that a touch screen would be a nice addition. Carlos got my truck in and out ASAP as my schedule was slammed. Hooked me up with a backup camera upgrade because he wanted a cleaner install. Loving the new gear and could not ask for a better experience.

I absolutely loved this place and the people there. The people are friendly and willing to help always. Ali and Brutus were on top of my case the whole time I was deciding on what to get and they made sure to give me exactly what I wanted, it was a little on the pricey side but it was very high quality. Anytime I found anything wrong with my system I brought my SUV back in and they fixed it within a matter of an hour at most (due to how many other customers they were taking care of at the moment). But overall I definitely recommend these guys. They are not hummad.👌👍

After reading all the reviews for this car audio shop I immediately headed over to have a radio installed into my Ford F-150, shop owners were very friendly and nice and knowledgeable about stereos, speakers and installs. Price was reasonable and took them about an hour or so to install my new radio and speakers, highly recommend going to this shop again to have them install a new radio in my other cars. Best car audio shop south county San diego.

Had two vehicles tinted one dark tinted one a lighter shade, both of them had to be redone one had to be redone twice. I dont have time for this.yes they fixed the problem but it should have been done right the first time. What a waste of my time.

Today, I had the stereo replaced on my 2003 Honda Accord. John hooked me up with a huge discount. He helped me choose a stereo that fit budget, yet had all the features I wanted. What I loved most is that theyre very accommodating of my scedule and work quickly.The first time I was here, I got the same excellent service from Adnan, who helped me choose a radio and phone mount for my old car. Because of their excellent service and friendliness, I highly recommend Stereo Depot.

I purchased a new Pioneer car stereo with Bluetooth capabilities. The unit was installed and works well. There were a couple of complications however. The installer removed my car lighter and replaced it with a place to plug in my USB & HDMI cords. Makes sense except I need my lighter to plug in my trickle charger because my car drains the battery if it sits idle for an extended period of time. I drove back to the location to tell them and the manager told me he would order another lighter receptacle and we could install it in a different location. This was agreeable to me. After two weeks I never heard back from so I called; the gentleman told me he could not help me but that the manager was out of town and would be returning the following day and he would get back to me. That never happened. I have since purchased my own part and installed it myself. There were some other minor wrinkles that I also had to clean up on my own. Very disappointed in the lack of follow-up.

These guys offer a pretty decent selection of car audio gear from several different brands, offer free installation for a new deck (though they do charge for amps and other ancillary components), and offer very decent prices and price matching. Quick installation, too. Ive had Stereo Depot do all of the work on both mine and my wifes trucks, and they even do my HID lights as well. They dont typically have the latest gear available, but thats made up for my their low cost and speedy service, even in-house financing

I had a accident with my truck and when it was returned for some odd reason the stereo would not play any sound. I bought a awesome audio system at audio depot a few Christmases ago and I took it to stereo Depot to have him diagnose the problem. Immediately found a wire which Ive been disconnected and proceeded to fix it. When I asked him how much I owed him he responded that it was free. Where else would you find this kind of service? No where... They treat people right here and i can recommend this establishment to anyone needing audio/stereo work.

I went in for a odd job. Had my husband put a LARGE sticker on my back window. Which was left not straight & full of bubbles. They took it off and put my replacement on. Plus took off old stickers that I figured were stuck for life. Juan has amazing customer service. Going back to get a new stereo.

Ali at rhe El Cajon location to care of us. Installing took 3 hours but everything looked clean and is working great. They did have a mixed up on the radio they installed but took care of the swap the next day first thing.

Ali and his Staff have always done a great job for whatever my budget is. They have done 4 of our cars from everything to just adding a few speakers. Adding a custom system to my FJ that makes my buddies envy. I understand they are doing Jeep and Razor upgrades so I will have to try them for those soon. 5 stars always. When they do make a mistake they have always made it right.

I arrived at 11:30am and truck wasnt ready until 6:55pm. I took it in for a new alarm system and was told it would only be about 3 hours. I paid a good price but the timing was terrible. It really took them about 9 hours to get the job done. Im only giving them 1 star for the price I paid but other than that I wont go back again.

I came in late on a Friday and John hooked me up! I had an old Sirius/XM unit with no antenna nor power cord. Well, John and his team got it all installed quickly right then and there for a very reasonable price. I’m will be a continued customer in the future!

Very rude sto ...after getting windows tent door falling apart dashboard falling apart..the one one elcajon Blvd is better than el cajon city stereo depot.

If i could put 0 stars i would! my boyfriend bought a new stero and got it installed when we were driving wires came out of his dash so he put them back and saw there was a cut wire that shouldnt have been cut so he saudered it back and while doing that he saw they didnt use the new cables the stero came with they used the sketchy original wire. he went a few months later to get power locks and driving home i needed to get out and come to find out he has to turn his truck off to unlock the door. and both times they left there trash all over his truck. we refered someone which was a mistake she went and got a new stero, new back up camera, and power locks and she is having so many issues. her passenger side power lock doesnt work and theres a lot more than just that issues i wish i didnt refer her to this place. they need to hire people that know what there doing!

WARNING: Inexperienced and rude staff. Quoted me for 3 hours... Ended up taking 8+ hours for a basic speaker swap because they worked on their own cars instead. They talked about using drugs while I was standing right next to them.
