Family owned and operated makes this my go-to place instead of 7/11 or another liquor store. The staff is my reason for going there. They are great people, extremely friendly and their food is pretty good too! Ray, the owner, and 2 of his sons, Martin and Michael, are normally at the register.

I went in to grab a sandwich on my way home today at this well-known neighborhood shop. Its been a while since Ive been in, I noticed they have an amazing selection of wine, liquor beer and anything you could ever possibly need to make any cocktail youd ever want. However when I walked over to the deli to order my sandwich in the middle of a raging pandemic, the server, a young woman took my order and I walked around to give some space and check out the store. I noticed she went to the restroom then and when I came back around the corner she was making my sandwich without a mask. Just then another kitchen worker came out, that young man was also not wearing a mask. I asked her if she had just made my sandwich without wearing a mask, she replied yes, so I told her I did not want the sandwich. I am worried that the carelessness I saw here today could make my neighbors sick and thats the reason Im writing this review. Eat here at your own risk.

I picked up some hard to find specialty Stone Brewing beers that were on my list to try.

Very good local bottle shop. If you are into whiskey he has some of the best bottles for great prices! Will be coming back regularly to keep my bar stocked

It is in a convenient location and pizza is often hit more than miss. I have called a couple of times to complain about pizza once the cheese actually smelled and tasted spoiled. They wouldnt even give me a full credit for another pizza but instead offered a percentage off another pizza. I ended up tossing it. Anyway to todays point website says free delivery and they deny it is their website. It is totally their website ofcourse but they refuse to honor free delivery. I spoke with the owners son and he argued with me and told me to send him a screenshot and I did but when I called back he still said no he would not honor it....so why have me email it to them in the first place. At times like this I miss the original owners from Italy with their authentic cuisine and exceptional customer service.

Favorite place for pizza

The Bottle Shop for years was our favorite pizza place, but no more. The past 3 times the pizza was burnt and did not taste good. The girl making pizzas admitted they havent cleaned the oven for months. When asked for a refund we only got a partial refund. Dont expect a good pizza at this place. We are not going to take a chance again.

I have been eating pizza from the Bottle Shop for close to 20 years. It used to be one of my local favs! USED TO BE! The pizza tonight has slipped to mediocre at best. The crust is now a chewy, thick, sweet dough. Unlike the dough in the past that was a hand tossed thinner fully cooked crust, tonights was under cooked and like eating a fresh pretzel with less flavor.The pepperoni pizza and the sausage pizza had undergone extensive cost saving measures by both size reduction and topping conservation. If they would have kept the topping to size ratio the same the flavor would have at least peeked through the sweetness of the crust. Unfortunately the sparse toppings resulted in the undercooked cheese and bland sauce providing the only flavors to hit the taste buds.My family and I moved from Fletcher Hills over 12 years ago. We would make special trips to the Bottle Shop Pizza as a treat for special occasions. I am sorry to say that with the changes in just about everything we had come to expect in a bottle shop pizza tonight will be our LAST time.

The older, slinny guy with the glasses is rude and money hungry. Nothing but dirty looks and attitude. Don’t expect to get any money you may have won from lottery tickets you’ve bought from that store. He’ll sell them but doesn’t want to give anything back. Had to go to a 7 11 where they didn’t have a problem with it.

Great variety of beer and wine in a small space. The staff was so helpful! They were very knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions.

I grew up eating at this place, and after probably 20 year, I moved back into the area. Ive had pizza twice and it was just OK both times. I also had sanwiches twice and they werent very good, especially compared to places like Grinder and Antonellis deli in El Cajon.

They used to have some noice craft sodas to quencher a kids thirsty needs. But they got rid of those and now its just alright. :(
