Love the variety of baking items this store has. Im a treat maker and they almost always have what I need to dress my treats up. Love that theres lots of employees around when help is needed of them. I also appreciate that they have disinfectants right now. Thank you!❤️

I just used Walmart to Walmart transfer to send money to my dad for Eskew Law Firm, in Indiana. Melissa at the customer service desk was polite and nice. She has a soft voice, but was very courteous. This little Walmart more often times than not takes care of just about all of my needs. The only thing they are missing is a clothing department. Then I wouldnt have to go to Target.

This place only has 1 cashier. Self serve lines go all the way down the aisle. It sucks this is the only place that sells Amys frozen veggie meals or Id shop somewhere else

This is my Neighborhood Market I went there to pick up some money that was sent to me from Arizona. There was a little bit of a line but it didnt take long and everything went smoothly. I was very happy with the outcome being as I was trying to get the same money picked up yesterday from Walmart Parkway Plaza and the guy refused to give it to me because Junior wasnt put at the end of my name. That was so lame.

Dirt restrooms, poop marks in 1 toilet. Had to wait for toilet. Toilet line. 1 register open, 4 person line wait. Self check-out, both stations 3 and 4 person wait. Self checkout person doing everything for people. No instruntional sign for register machine. Live the product. I got my sports tape, great price. Love the new strawberry/peanut butter and jelly enclosed. End cap great price. Unsatified on check-out experience. Manager always gives me same excuse. They all called in sick. Turnover rate, 2021 60% i read lately. What a shame. Atleast we got new Afghan brothers and sisters when do i get to meet them? Grant.

Tried to call for two days straight to find out if they cash checks, no answer. Looked on Walmart website and it said every location will cash checks. So I go in and the customer service is completely closed at 6pm on a Friday?!?! Plus whenever I do grocery pickup here, I wait a long time and things always get messed up.

We came to this Walmart yesterday. First off, there were no carts. I was told by a Walmart employee that there were too many shoppers and if I needed a cart I would have to find one in the parking lot. I searched the parking lot and was unable to locate one cart. They didnt have the plastic baskets to carry, either. I found an abandoned cart in the produce aisle that could be pulled along. The wheels were locked up so it was super tough to drag.The shelves were empty. Im not sure if the purchasing manager was on vacation or if the whole virus thing made people panic. They were out of toilet paper, paper towels, rice, cereal. etc.As I walked through the store, staff were congregated in aisles chatting it up. There was only one person working at a register and the line was backed up into the aisle. I STRONGLY recommend finding another place to shop. This Walmart isnt cared for at all. Staff arent friendly and the shelves arent stocked.

This is the 2nd time I went in and needed customer service, there was noone there and they were like come back later?!!! Someone was able to do the return on the register bit today the person was late from there break this is an inconvenience to a paying customer and all I needed to do was an even exchange no money back. They really need to have a back up person at all times for these kind of things instead of everyone looking dumbfounded and cant help

You classic Walmart neighborhood market. There is a small deli section. The inside of the store is clean and organized. Plenty of free parking in front of the store. There is a good fresh produce selection. Dairy section has a variety of items. Organics and non organics available. You can get rotisserie chicken, hotdogs, nuggets, and donuts and other items.

Pleased to find a walmart that has it all again; however quantity and selection is a concern. Fruits and vegetables not fresh or near expiration much to my surprise. Garlic and ginger as an example were few or none and bananas time to go. Cat food licking strews by Meow gone. I will return with hope that matters like Always without wings S/P maximum is present.

Unless this store is having a hard time getting employees because of the pandemic this store is a train wreck. Always out of many items. Not enough cashiers, stockers ect. Long lines, even for self serve. Not a nice experience. Needs a lot more help to run the store. Hopefully as more people go back to work this store has the money to hire more workers.

I had to take one star away for the fact that I dont believe you should have a full on invasion of stockers while the store is still within its hours of operation. Most Walmarts are closed for at least 6 hours or more a day, if that is not long enough for you to restock your shelves then hire more stockers but dont have me running the grocery shopping gauntlet at 9 oclock when your closing at 10:30. Do you really need that extra hour and a half.

I was able to find a 2lt bottle of Dr peper zero but no cans

My experience here was amazing! Apparently all the workers were playing a game called Avoid the customer because I didnt get help for 10 minutes standing at the customer service line while employees kept passing me! Then when I went to pick up my groceries from the side of the store, those employees were playing too! Because no one came for 15 minutes to my car to get my order! Amazing!

What can I say, this store is like many these days. Im not sure what happened and why its ok but nobody knows what true customer service is. I see it many places though. People ask a question including myself and you hear answers like oh Im on my lunch or Im not sure where its at but thats not my department. All different ages of people and even management. I worked for companies luckily that did not accept that and pushed to give the best customer service and I wouldnt know how to prove it but I could turn many of these places around. Im sure people just get used to it but I find it really sad and pathetic the level of customer service youve receive not just here but at many places. Im not saying people are mean or rude but the answers and type of customer service you get is nothing that I would ever give.

January 4th 2021 I visit Sequoia hotel and casino resort. I had visited them for such a short visit but on this particular night one of the casinos workers approached me and asked me could you give me a card so I can attain benefits as I play and I decided what to say yes and they went out of their way to welcome me and to show me all the great benefits while playing in there casino. there were everyday from delicious food to get from extra playing time and bonuses from even cash money then the game that I like to play so much it was so nice so friendly and insisted on even walking me through everything from from Santa Ana whats my car when I first entered the casino even to the last wiping out of my car when I exited all day was so nice so well and warm for sending themselves they sold me and Im telling all my friends and Im telling you give them a try you dont have to say yes or no

Pretty convenient for a quick stop to get those forgotten items. Some good deals. But you have to pay attention to the items you are getting as there may be much better deals within short driving distance.

The shopping was fine just dont use the bathrooms,it was first thing in the morning so you would think they would have been cleaned overnight guess not.

Everyone that answer the phone is real rude lazy and unhelpful never transfer you to the right person English very broken and poor poor poor customer service.

Nothing exciting about grocery shopping but, when all u need is groceries and you like walmart brands and deals or simply love walmart, this is the place to grocery shop without having to go threw so many other isles to get to the food section. All food food. Plus 2 different sections of self checkout if preferred.

The parking is not great. They are always low on items and seem to be out of what I need everytime I go.

Shelves always well stocked. Large self-checkout area is very convenient.

Walmart was fun....no line for self check out. In and out in 20 minutes just picking up some essentials.

I love walmart but this walmart market, is so sad because if you go the market you expect that you have cashiers, not even one just self service, but then if you have wine or liquor you have to look for some one. With covid-19 restrictions you just want to get out as fast as you can.

Hard to get help taking groceries to my car. I use their motorized cart. Nor because I cannot walk but I have a broken shoukder and unable to push a cart. After I pay, the groceries have to go in a cart cuz they dont fit back in the motorized cart. I can return the motorized cart but no one would come help me. Finally a guy came but he had awful attitude. Tried to explain why I needed help but all he did was grumble. Happens most times.

I never shop in this store personally. There are better choices if you are selective towards shopping sales at the other stores. This summer I have shopped for one of my clients I care for. When I went into the store, I asked about a shopping cart. No more carts I am told. Then the door greeter told me to use a hand basket. There before me are two tall stacks of brand new hand baskets. Then, when I check out, since we cant bring in our bags and I couldnt take the groceries to my car to bag, I was forced into purchasing three bags. THEY WERE SINGLE USE BAGS! I was so very upset that they could get away with breaking the State law and swindled me in the whole process.

Its Walmart they dont pay their employees loving wages and get subsidized by our tax dollar on top of it. Dont support predatory companies.

The prices were all right but Ill tell you what when theyre firing people and replacing them with technology where you have to stand there for an hour scanning your own items and equipment doesnt work correctly theres something very seriously wrong with that storefront

Only one or two registers out of 15 are open and only one accepts cash this is by far the worst Walmart for Speedy checkout Additionally the customer service counter usually has a half a dozen or more people and only one Customer Service employee I stood in that customer service line for at least 30 minutes more than once this door needs a serious management overhaul

A great spot to get all your grocery shopping done quickly and efficiently. I love the self checkout because I feel like like it is faster than waiting in the regular ones. You can only get groceries here, so if you need clothing you will have to goto a different Wal-Mart.

The Walmart on Second st, El Cajon, Ca is the worse. Only one wheelchair that works, constantly looking for a basket, out of stock on groceries, not enough help at customer service. There is always a long line. I only go there for immediate needs as its only 1/2 mile from my house. Walmart at Los Coaches is the best.

Its a quick shop to run in for a few things. Produce was fresh & they had everything on my list.

This Walmart market that sits on 2nd Street in El Cajon is pretty much a dump super packed with customers and only one check stand open besides self-checkout. But overall the store is a dump dirty outside and doesnt seem very clean inside. Will not shop there.

Wal-Mart is not the best grocery store to go to if your looking to just quickly go in and come right back out for like an item or two because of how packed it is but its definitely good for when your just going in and strolling down looking around for things you might need. On the other hand Wal-Mart is not always stocked with a lot of things other Wal-Marts might have and does not always have carts, or even staff to help some costumers.

If you go at night time an hour or 2 before they close it is always the less crowded. Which is perfect if your tryna safe and practice social distancing.. how ever as I was exiting a man eating an ice cream asked if he can walk in with no mask because he was eating an ice cream. The employee told him to go ahead and enter. I told the employee that that was very very unprofessional of him and hes putting everybodys lifes at risk.. did not appreciate this at all

Here is the situation, I shop here very often for the past year every time I go to checkout there is a crazy line and one register open and the line is all the way at the end of the store on top of all the employees are chatting around acting bright, I don’t know how what kinda management this is for a large business!!

I hate all the self checkout stations. I do not work for Walmart and do not like doing their job myself. Terrible...

Even though Covid-19, this Walmart store is busy and crowded, and the workers are attentive to control the social distancing, and also they dont hesitate to ask people to cover their nose and not only their mouth with the mask.

Placed an order for pick up and checked into the app. I arrived to the store at 0945 a.m. and called the number..no answer. Called the store...no answer. I continued to call for about 5 mins and still no answer. I had to go inside of the store and contact an associate to get assistance. That defeats the entire purpose of ordering online for pickup. Absolutely, ridiculous.

I was at the Walmart on 2nd Street in El Cajon at 9pm to return a couple items with my receipt not totally over $10 and the front end manager told me that the customer service closed at 8:00 p.m. and they couldnt refund my groceries. it doesnt State on the receipt or anywhere in the store for customers to see that refunds are not available after 8:00 p.m. I took my groceries to the Walmart on Grossmont boulevard where the front end manager named Julie was happy to refund my order, waa very kind about doing so and thier customer service close at 8:00pm as well. also. With the price of gas and the distance between stores it was not convenient at all for me to have to go across town to another Walmart with the same store hours to return a couple of groceries. Absolutely ridiculous I will never return to to Walmart on 2nd Street.I even told the front and manager that I knew she was able to refund and she continued to say no.

Needs to be cleaner. A lot of trash outside the store and the parking lot. Need to address homeless loitering around the store better. Security lacks ability to do their job. Produce is fair. Shelves arent stocked sometimes its hit and miss with product. Walmart corporate needs to step up this locations attraction for cleanliness just because we arent La Jolla.

Decent selection for the basics. Usually a quick in and out, which is helpful. Prices not always the lowest. But convenient.

Employee had open sign. Went to pay. Other employee came to check stand. Shes closed. I had two items. Then she put the closed sign. Okay she forgot to put it. I guess honoring the open sign. Had to go to another cashier. How sad. But Im sure it wont be the last time this happens. I guess they were doing me the favor. Customer service now ah days is not important in most places.

It is in my community, nice and close to my house. This time they actually had shopping carts available. Some stocking issues but it was late in the day so I imagine they had been flooded during the day.. It was very clean and the employees were friendly.

I come here to get baby formula every once in a while. Now its nice because the prices are really low. I also understand why they have to keep baby formula locked up. But what I dont understand is that if it only cost about $5 why do they have to take it to the front counter for me to check out if its only $5?Usually they could profile a person to see if theyre going to steal baby formula. Now if its their policy fine, but I still dont understand why if Im getting one package of baby formula that cost $5 that they have to take it to the front counter. They check receipts at the door anyway with security so I really dont understand why they have to take it to the front. Security could just stop me at the door to ask to see my receipt.Sometimes I have other shopping to do and or I just want to browse around. And sometimes I prefer the self-checkout rather than the register where I have to wait in line.At the Super Walmart when I need baby formula like this they just give it to me right then and there and I check out whenever I need to check out. I understand control issues but I think theyre handling the control issues wrong.Ill continue to come here though because of the low prices and the ease of checkout with the Walmart app and the Walmart assistant on the Walmart app.Also have to say it at the parking lot gets a little dirty at times and the shopping carts are scattered everywhere in the parking lot.

They lack customer service and dont have employees who speak or understand English. Last time I went they even refused to sell me a package of chicken just because it wouldnt scan. The price was marked on the package with the barcode.... Guess they dont want people to buy from them. 🤷

Staff is friendly and I generally find everything I need. Their hot foods are very reasonably priced. I often grab a lemon pepper or garlic butter rotisserie chicken when I dont feel like cooking.

This is really a sad, sad Walmart in the pickup and delivery part. Not to go into a long story of substitutions and hidden substitutions, really bad attitudes and employee fratenizing in front of waiting customers, one word sums it up...meh! La Mesa family market, close by and customer care worlds apart. Last one out, turn out the lights!

I would love to give the store a higher rating but this was my 3rd attempt to show up at the store and there are no carts available for customers. The store is only moderately busy each time. Huge cart shortage, So i used a hand basket and purchased less than half of what I would have had there been a push cart available. When leaving the store I asked an associate if I could take the basket to my car to unload it and bring it right back she said sure then the security guard came hollering after me to come back i had to leave my groceries go get my car and load my car there. Also at the front of the store I asked a different security guard why there are never any carts, I had to speak louder and wave my hands to get her attention because she was busy listening to something on her headphones. Her reply was i dont know i just guard the front make sure people have masks on talk to the people inside. I spoke to an associate by the door who said oh i dont know theres none out there? Check the parking lot... I had done that there were none. Poor customer service... I can get past that but no carts at a grocery store????? I would love to give a higher rating but i cannot buy things with no carts!
