I have used Dean Dlouhy for my silly garage door for years. It doesnt matter what I call him for, or how I try to explain what is happening, Dean is always patient, kind, honest, fair, and willing to explain what is really wrong with my door. He shows me what is wrong and easily fixes it. What I like most about him is that he doesnt push or recommend something you dont need. I was thinking about putting in a new motor unit, but he said to wait - he could fix the current one and make it work for a long time before I needed to replace it. He said when we were ready to finally change it out, give him a call and he would take care of it. But in the meantime, save our money and get as much use out of it as we can. HONESTY means everything to us!

I entered my garage and when I went to close the door, there was an awful sound and a small wheel attached to a metal rod flew by my head. What a start to my day. Right away I went to my Next Door app for reviews on garage door experts and found a highly rated company Dlouhy Doors. I called and explained what had happened and that I could not close the door. I was told that as soon as one of the men was finished in the field I would receive a call. Sure enough within a couple hours I was called and Dean was on the way. He is an expert at all facets of motor installation and connectivity. And the garage looked spic and span when he was done. Highly recommended!

I can not say enough positive things about this company. The owner came out to my home on the weekend to look at my door which had been damaged by a car. He spent a good 45 minutes explaining what my options were. He looked at the details on the door, motor, rollers and track. He said they were all still good and that all I needed was the door. How refreshing, no upselling.The job that they did for me replacing the door was outstanding! Very clean and tidy. The old door was hauled away and all the trash was cleaned up. Called and spoke with Dean and he told us to check to see if something was blocking the safety eyes. It was blocked - that was it. Saved a trip charge! I needed my garage door repaired when one of the cables came off twice in a 24 hour period. I tried to call the guy that fixed my door a couple of years ago, but only got answering service machine and never got a return call, so I pulled out my new Alpine Orange Book Directory and found a nice size ad on Dlouhy Doors Inc. It was late Friday afternoon and their web site said they were closed weekends, and this was not an emergency so I sent them an email explaining my dilemma, hoping to set up an appointment the next week day. To my surprise, I got a call from Jason Saturday AM telling me that Dean the Owner, President was doing some work in E.County and could come by and check out my door that day. Needless to say, I was surprised and elated. I believe I was Deans fourth appointment and he got to my place in Campo about 4 PM. He replaced my springs and cables and realigned the door taking his time to get it right. He didnt get finished till after 6 PM and he still had another stop to make. I will definitely use Dlouhy Doors in the future. I have his cards stapled around my garage so Im pretty sure I wont forget how to contact them . LOL!
