So glad I found this place! After the gun shop I used to shop at closed down, I was looking for a new home. I looked all over east county and this is by far the best. Ive been in the shop a few times now and at every single visit, I was greeted by friendly staff. The guys and gals behind the counter are very knowledgeable and happy to help. I always get a superb customer experience when I go here and I recommend it to all my friends.

After recently moving to San Diego County I feared I would no longer have access to a quality and friendly gun shop as I did back home. After discovering FU CA, this was quickly proven false to me. My go-to shop for firearm and ammo transfers. Easy to work with, knowledgeable, and some of the best prices in town. An interesting in-store inventory as well.

Called the shop ahead of time to explicitly confirm they could time and torque down flash hiders on 5 x bolt rifle barrels. Gentlemen on the phone confirmed and said bring em on in.Got to the shop a few hours later, showed them the project, and they promptly said they couldnt do it for bolt rifle barrels, only AR15 based rifles.ETA: Post company reply below. It was your location, I took the super sketch elevator up to the 2nd floor given the cart of gear I was rolling in with. I was on location around 1445hrs on Friday. There was another customer with a dog in the store when arrived. One of your employees caught me on the way out and recommended I try Kothey (sp?) and Sons gunsmithing.

These guys at this store are Awesome. Very knowledgeable I was not sure which firearm to purchase they worked with me and reassured that I was happy with what I was getting. They even had a video of the gun for me to watch. I was so confused on firearms. So glad I found this store. These gentlemen helped me out tremendously! Awesome guys to deal with. Made a gun transfer as easy as CA would let it be. Good prices. Slim stock due to current political climate but most gun shops are in the same situation. Would do business here again.

As a first time gun purchaser, I was a little nervous about purchasing a firearm for home defense. The owners immediately made me feel at ease and didn’t make me feel foolish with my lack of knowledge in aspects of firearm safety and California legal procedures regarding firearms. Not only am I pleased with my purchase, the staff was able to help me enroll in a basic firearms safety course and guided me in purchasing a safety lock for my weapon, making me feel much safer due to having young children at home. If you are feeling vulnerable in these uncertain times as I have, I strongly recommend the sales staff at Firearms Unlimited.
