I love the seasonal offerings throughout the whole store from decor to baking essentials.The phone app and website have coupons to save you money 💰I love the friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful staff 😊. Ive always loved this store for fabrics. I bought a craft case that i needed for my paints. The store clerk was fantastic and told me i could scan a coupon online and that gave me a great deal. Great service. Kind staff.

First couple times I went, there was a staff member that helped me cut fabric. They were very informative and friendly when I had questions. Last time, there was a new person working on fabric that was distracted and dismissive at first, though they were very considerate and helpful when I had forgotten a personal item, which I appreciate. Great pricing and a wide range of options, super convenient for supplies when you dont feel like ordering from Amazon.

I like this store, is very clean and organized. The personal is polite and courteous. I always found the best prices.

Really, they are the only game in town and they know it so theyve simply stopped trying. The store is nicely stocked but getting help is tough especially with a sewing question. Its like theyre not allowed to give advice for liability reasons or something. Anyway, as an avid creative artist, crafter and seamstress I visit often. I just wish I could find a worthy competitor so I could make more informed shopping decision.

I love hi am he fabrics, but some people take their job so seriously and dont want to give too many coupons, while others are so happy to help give you discounts. Its always a gamble, but they have great stuff for all sorts of crafts and creativity. I love how they accept competitors coupons too.

Great assortment of things for crafting. Paper, fabrics, chains, postcards, mirrors and etc. Not expensive at all. Found many stuff for creative childrens activities.

Joann Fabric and Crafts has collections of so many crafts and sewing items that it boggles the mind. Which is a good thing as one can go there looking for something specific or find a delightful array of items that provide ideas galore. Great place to shop and lovely coupons weekly.

Can I give them 6 stars and a medal of Honor. Sewed a free mask to kick start sewing of masks for homeless. I love these people both for their generosity and great customer service.

Yesterday I went to Joanns to find sequins fabric for my wedding gown. After searching through different aisles of fabric I found some that may work. I took the fabric up to the counter and Lana was able to assist me. She dived right in and helped me look for sequins for my gown. She was extremely helpful. She cut a small portion of fabric for me to test out and show my seamstress so I could put it up to the gown for the visual. I was very pleased with it and immediately returned the next day. Thank you for all your help! This fabric choice will make my dress complete.

JOANN Fabrics and crafts is one of my fav stores. I could stay there for hours if I had the time, unfortunately I rarely do. But when I need something specific for my sewing, quilting or crocheting needs, I always find what I need. I needed a zipper and I found what I needed. The staff helping at the cutting table are all so friendly and helpful. I have been going to JOANNS for many many years and I will continue to go there as much as I can. Also, they always have grrrreat coupons!!! I always have a 40% coupon handy 😁

Very low selection on hand. Went in to buy dye but there were only 2 on hands, total. The luckys around the corner had them.

Fabulous ~ want in for burlap and got twice as much as planned for at over 59% discount!! Personnel were wonderful. Just wish we didnt gave to pay to use the cart.

Great place for crafts, creative projects, costly alternatives (depending) and design. Love the sale break downs. Would be nice and convenient if Joann carried a selection of Afro-Cultural fabric prints and styles.

They need more workers to assist you! Also need to have knowledge of their merchandise! And sales! You need to have patterns for upholstery!

I come here mostly for the fabric and notions. They have a decent selection. Most (but not all) of the fabric options are polyester and poly blends. The service is friendly. In between unclear sale prices and coupons galore, its hard to know what your final price is going to be, which is a little frustrating. At full price, the fabric and notions are way over-priced, but on sale and with coupons the value is better.

Their Wilton / cake decorating section is fabulous.

Nice, convenient craft store. Theres usually not a shortage of parking as it shares a lot with a number of other stores. They seem to have sales fairly often and you can usually find additional coupons online. It is hard to find an employee to help you most of the time but overall its still a good place to shop

I spent a fair amount of time at the framing desk, trying to make up my mind. The associate couldnt have been more polite and patient. The price was pretty reasonable, too!

Had an awesome experience. Went in to grab some fabric for a pillow. Was helped by Judy and she was more than helpful and kind! She even showed me a new stitch that will help out tremendously. 11/10 will return!

Ive been to many JoAnn Fabric stores and the one in El Cerrito is by far and away the best! It is large, well stocked and very clean as a neat. Ive also had great interactions with the employees and have found them to always be very kind and helpful.

I went to this store looking for a 9x12 plastic string tie envelope. I wanted to ask an associate where they might be located, but after wandering the store for more than 10 minutes, couldnt find anyone. I wandered into the paper section and was delighted to find that Fiskas brand paper cutting tools were 40% off. Id been wanting a paper cutter. The paper cutter I was interested in was hanging (along with many other cutters of the same style) on a peg with a price of $39.99. I decided to spring for it. I wandered some more, still looking for the envelopes. There were several aisles with empty displays and empty packing boxes on the floor. I happened to find the clearance section which was such a mess that I stopped looking because everything was in such disarray. I finally found an employee in the fabric dept. who was filing patterns. She had her back to me, so I said hello. She didnt respond, so I said Hello again, this time louder. She turned to me, and instead of greeting me, she said Im in a hurry to file these so I can get back to the cutting table. I told her that Id been wandering the store for more than 10 minutes and needed help trying to locate the envelopes I was looking for. She softened a bit, but basically told me they didnt have what I was looking for. I then went to the checkout. When the paper cutter rang up, it rang up for $29.99, not $39.99. I was happy that it was less than the displayed price, but irritated that the display price had been misrepresented. The incorrect higher price almost kept me from purchasing this item. This store seems to be very poorly managed - understaffed, lack of organization, incorrect pricing and rude staff members. Theres much room for improvement here.

Humongous store with all the crafting materials you could need. Great location.

Came in looking fabric to cover two small pillows and right the front there was a display of discounted fabrics. I chose couple which I thought would go well together, had them measured and was out in 10 mins.

I was pleasantly surprised to find everything I needed plus a little extra. Great store and the location is AWESOME!!

While waiting to get fabric cut I was behind another lady getting help and in view of the staff that was helping her. When she was done the staff didn’t even look or acknowledge me and simply turned her back on me and called a number. I didn’t even know they were taking numbers so had to loose my place. Had she told me this I wouldn’t have wasted 15 minutes for my turn. I felt they were rude in not looking up and at least letting me know.

They are the true home sweet home helpers👍They have all the traditional tedious so many little things for home craftsmanship. Not only women also men appreciate their business for our homes🙏
