I went to Home Depot to buy plumbing stuffs.The employee by the name Jesus V. is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Not only he knows what are the correct parts, washers and stems I need, but also told me to check out local store for the part they dont have. (For the shower stem is almost 20 or 30 years. The threads is not fit.) And then he printed out some local store nearby for me. REALLY CARE CUSTOMERS NEED.He too told me that the brand name of the old stem. So I might be able to google to find it.As for the parts and washer I got here, he removed the old one and replaced the new and correct one to show me that was really what I need.Thanks God for I had the services from Jesus V.May God take care what Jesus V.s need.

Was on a TI project where we added 9 soundproofed rooms for a music school that took us a little over a month to complete. So I was basically here every other day buying and picking up materials. Compared to the Alhambra one, this one is more neat and less crowded. Staff is friendly, and it’s easy to find someone for help when you need it. They don’t have AC and run on swamp coolers all day, but you don’t feel very hot and gross even when you walk in on a 90 degree day.

Marco is now my favorite Home Depot. He actually took the time to help me in locating the nails that I needed for the workers nail gun. Plus, another awesome person is the young Asian lady who directed me to Customer Service to exchange my item. And the Customer Service staff are awesome too. Thank you for making my visit an enjoyable experience.

Clean and staff is nice. I was at self check out and they scanned everything for me not sure if it was special treatment or everyone gets a scanner at the self check out but it is what it is I suppose. But for reals the lanes were kept clean and everything was in place accordance with price tags. 👍

AVOID THIS HOME DEPOT AT ALL COST!!! I have had the most terrible shopping experience here in my life. I had just bought some material at self checkout and two employees helped me checkout. They always look at people like they’re going to steal something at this place. I got distracted because I couldn’t find a card of mine and ended up leaving the receipt accidentally. Then when I walked out some guy came up to me asking me for a receipt. He wasn’t dressed professionally or even clean. He was also smoking a cigarette at the time. He didn’t say please or anything I honestly thought he was just some crazy dude that was there. So I ignored him and kept walking. Then he gets in front me and my girlfriend. He kept asking me for a receipt and I told him he can go inside and get it if he wants. Again I didn’t know if he worked there or not and he started getting more confrontational and I started to worry if I would have to defend myself which i almost did. He cornered me and my girlfriend against the bbq grills outside. Luckily the cashier came running outside and told them we paid for everything. I got really upset because i almost started to defend myself over some receipt and I almost ended up in jail because of this. I always try to avoid going to this Home Depot. I only go here when I really have to because I live down the street. I told the assistant manager there what had happened and he just happened to be outside with another manager and saw the whole thing. The assistant manager said sorry and that he’ll have a talk with him ( the guy works there). I went back last week and this guy is still there and of course smoking on the job and still doesn’t have an apron on or anything. This place is ridiculous. There are other Home Depot’s that are so much better. I go out of my way to go to the Alhambra one it’s a lot cleaner and the employees there treat the customers so much better.

I never seen such a mess tempco brought my daughter stove and they broke the knob off bring it through the door and let’s not talk about the rack to bake missing and let’s not talk about the burner on right side not working and the delivery men I heard more excuses why they could not move the stove or take the old away and their professional mannerss iam sorry I would never ever recommend Home Depot or buy appliances from them and I drive 100 miles to see this happen to my daughter what ashamed it is that this behavior is allowed and to sell junk is a crime

This HOME Depot is very organized and clean. Staff were helpful. They have everything that I need. Parking lot is huge. I had a good experience.

I had a great experience at the cash register. I went there yesterday and the cashier Maria helped me apply for credit. She was really helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going again to shop at Home Depot of El Monte. Employees like that make the shopping experience better.

Bad customer service.. no one on the aisle to help..when I try to look for a light fixture that I need for a job there was no sample on the wall. Should i buy it, test it and return if it not the kind I need?? The customer service just stood there complaining I opened the box where he cant even help me to find the product I need. The cashier should be smiling and willing to help on checking out but not showing a sad and mad face because she had to work on weekend .. 😢

I love tools and this is where I buy my material...wood, tile, drywall, nails and screws, velcro, doorknobs, and sinks. I also buy my supplies here like TP, trash bags, lightbulbs, disinfectant, laundry, deodorizer, and paper towels. BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO SHOP AND DREAM.

I got what i needed. But like always its chaotic Zoo. A lot better then it used to be it was a line waiting to get in and someone trying to take your temperature the old-fashioned way lol joking

I felt harrassed the minute I walked in. A short heavy set Male Hispanic followed me and buddy around everywhere. When it was time to pay one of the items we scanned was not labeled right and the cashier accused me of putting my own Label. When the problem wa fixed we payed for everything. When we were bagging everything one of the cashiers. Tossed some of our stuff on the ground. Because we denied the accusations of the labels. When we left the store The short man that followed us around the store followed us to our car he was working l.p or security.

It was a bit crowded and the line at the checkout was long but it moved rather quickly. The workers all wore their masks and were very helpful. At the checkout the workers were their directing customers to the open checkout. The worker the directed me to the open checkout wiped down the machine for me without being asked.

When I was here last, we were in the grips of the first wave of the Wu-flu, and Home Depot had limited hours. Today Home Depot has what seems like regular hours and a fully stocked store. I mean, the have it all! The employees are everywhere. I just bought a bunch of stuff, and their people where on it! Henry, you rock! Your guidance and wisdom helped out with our remodeling project. Next Ill tackle the garden. Thank you Home Depot for being there for the people in the middle of this weird time in our nations history. Thank you so much!

Its a home depot. Workers are helpful but the store itself is difficult to navigate.

Not too crowded. The sales people were extra helpful.There was an Asian salesman (in the appliance department) who took the time to explain the benefits of the item I was intrested in. Put it down on paper - I know that is what is expected of a salesman, but he took the time to explain details not asked for.

I only came in to buy some screws. There is a line to get in, as only a certain amount of people are allowed in at a time, but it was a short wait. Inside it was busy but orderly. The store associates are all helpful and friendly. And checking out was quick. Considering this Covid-19 era we are in, I can only say that my experience was excellent at this Home Depot.

Walked in to Home Depot El Monte yesterday afternoon, was looking for concrete anchors. Approached a young gentleman who works there, you know someone with an orange apron on. He was a nice guy. Tooked the time to walk me over 3 or 4 isles to an older gentleman who happened to be assisting a female customer. Young gentleman asked me to wait on this guy, who mentioned his name, which I cant remember, waited for minute or so. Glanced over to my left and two rows over I saw the signs they have on the end of the isles that read, Masonry brackets/ anchors. So continued over and found another employee in that same isle and told him what my project was...took me down and showed me the different sizes and that was it. Got back finished up the project I was working on. So, the moral of my story is... Ask for you need, for your time for loliggaging will be none, therefore, get done with whatever it may be youre working on. And call it a day. ; - *

My elderly father bought a ryobi cordless saw yesterday. He brought it back cause it was missing a blade. They gave him a random blade and said the saw looked used. When he brought it home it didnt work. We brought it back and the supervisor states that he cannot exchange it cause the serial numbers. We never changed anything. They sold us a used item in a new box for full price and they are the victim. The manager Brittany explained their stance as a company. She then exchanged the saw! Awesome.

Very disappointing, walked in there and could not find help. I had to walk around to find an associate and when I did he pointed me in a wrong direction. Then I had to find someone else and when I found someone, he acted like I interrupted him and another associate while they were just sitting there chit chatting about personal stuff and not work. I walked out very upset. I will not ever go back to this Home Depot!I shop Home Depot quite often and thank goodness there are many others with better customer service and people skills!Management should work on this!!!!

I didnt rate it one I thought you had to press one star at a time starting at one anyway I know how to rate places now. Any way home Depot is always helpful when you have any question they do their best to answer it correctly. If they honestly dont know they will send you someone thats knowledgeable in the subject you need advice about. The staff works hard to provide you with information to help your project be successful. Theyve helped me avoid disasters many times by correcting me if Im purchasing the wrong item to get a project done right.

Great amount of employees willing to assist, some more great than others, items for the most part available, checking out/paying lines too long, too many people in the same area exposing everyone to pandemic/virus, some customers respect social distance, and that is dangerous, need more point of sale or control lines.

Why would I rate it for 5 stars? Because you usually dont need to wait for too long on the checkout line. This is because there is not too much people here. Haha! And I love shopping at homedepot~

I looked for a Home Depot employee but I find a vendor instead, name unknown, he proceeded to informed the issue and the cleaning lady showed up within minutes. Standard issue Home Depot. Garden department was in good form with lots of Spring plants... though I didnt buy any. I purchased a motion sensor light fixture. Typical Made in China issue. The big plus is that I was asked if I needed assistance 3+ times. That NEVER happens in the Bay Area.
