My truck went into service and out with more maintenance issues then going in! My truck sat in the back of the building for two weeks before confronting the service team of a car rental. I am in the military and my wife also works. We own two cars one of which is sitting in the back of this dealership! The service manager denied the rental (so much for customer service) especially for someone that is a loyal GMC owner. Anyway, I picked up my truck today without anymore service to be completed through this dealership. I will NOT throw anymore money into this place just to be back with more issues then I started! The mechanics are overworked and I truly feel for them as it is hard to work with the time hacks they have to meet and to give full attention to work on the customers car as the customer deserves the very best in service for owning a vehicle bought from GM! Unfortunately this is not the dealership I was hoping to receive that great customer service! I would look elsewhere and it will save you money and a lot of time!

We went in to ask questions about leasing a new Acadia, and werent expecting to leave with a new car. Isaac Olmeda was our customer representative and helped us through the entire process. I would not recommend Shamaley GMC. Service took too long to diagnose and determine problem, had to seek alternate place where parts were available and found parts to be one fourth the cost at other GMC dealer. I also had to purchase parts on my own and take to dealer myself (never had to do this when dealing with any other dealer). When I complained about having to go for my own parts and the length of time in getting vehicle serviced, I was told I was obviously free to go elsewhere, provided I first paid for diagnosis which was quite high to begin with. First and last time I will go there for service.

John was very professional. i let him no i didnt have another vehicle and if he could try hard to have my car at least by Friday. he told me he would try cause they were backed up about 4 day. he kept me up to date on my car. i feel he went out of his way to have my car ready. we need persons like in the work force that take time to consider us customers. i would rated him a definitely a 10.

No issues making the appointment utilizing the dealerships online system. Very easy to use with applicable vehicle service recommendations. Greeted very promptly upon arrival to the service center. Service representative was great and service was timely. Suggested additional services were presented and explained and took very little additional time to complete. Great lobby area with refreshments, TV, phone charging station, etc.

My first experience with your dealership was through the service department. David has always been available to answer questions to the best of his knowledge. If he was not able to answer a question, he would ask his peers to make sure that I knew exactly what was going on and how the dealership could help. That leads to the purchase of a new vehicle. My Enclave was in service and David suggested that I use it as a trade in. I had another vehicle that I wanted to trade so I would trade in both vehicles. David had a sales team member who reached out, but he was not very helpful nor respond. This led to a conversation with David, which led to Mario from the sales team to reach out. Mario went above and beyond to make sure that all my questions were answered. He made sure to get back quickly with quotes and offers. On the day of purchase, Mario and the finance department made sure we understood the process (this is not our first car purchase) but, it was greatly appreciated that they wanted us to know what was going on. Even down to how much we received for the trade ins to incentives and programs. My husband and I are very satisfied with the experience that we had at the GMC dealership and will continue to use this dealership as the drive is worth the excellent customer service that is received.

Failed to inspect components specified by customer when appointment was scheduled, supposedly serviced other components and failed to identify errors, had vehicle for over a month, same mechanical issues were still present after picking up vehicle, took vehicle back the next day, they kept the vehicle another week and finally inspected the components I specified 5 weeks prior, identified mechanical issues, replaced parts, when I picked the vehicle up the same grinding is still present in the driver side front wheel after $6,000+ of repairs were made. I feel like they just replaced parts just to do it and charge me. I will be 8nspecting the newly installed components to visually see if they are new or not.

The service department here was amazing! I had some warranty work done at my local dealer near Austin and they failed to complete the job right. I discovered this on my road trip back to Austin from Phoenix when my DEF ended up on the ground instead of in the tank, in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. I gave them a call and explain what was happening and that I was traveling back home and had to sign back in from leave that same night (military). They were able to get me in the moment I got there with only fumes in the DEF tank. They were then able to get the other dealership to pay for the repair and full cleaning of the DEF system to prevent further damage in the future (something the other dealership was refusing at first). They had me back on the road as soon as possible with only a few hours lost. If they werent so far away I would gladly go back for all service work.

I was asked 4 times by the finance department for my insurance information. The person doing my paperwork kept losing the copies they made. I contacted Daniel Ruiz on Saturday and he said he would take care of it. I hope I will be getting my licence plates soon and not have them lost as well. Im told Daniel I am concerned about my information that was lost. I hope my paperwork is handled better. The car I bought was a good deal unfortunately it was not washed. The windows inside and out were very dirty. I did mention this to Sergio the person that showed us the car. I can be reached by phone if they didnt lose that as well.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had at any dealership. Was awful. Overcharged on the replacement part. Didn’t keep the old one to show what the issue was. Picked up my vehicle and STILL had exact same problem. While I was sitting in the waiting area, I overheard the customer service apologize to at least 3 people over the phone saying “sorry but that’s out of our control”. Just before I left they said if anything goes wrong to bring it back in the morning. That statement tells me the confidence level of their staff. I encourage everyone reading this to look elsewhere for a mechanic. A trusted mechanic is worth their weight in gold. I will go to their competition next time I have an issue.

When we first showed up to the dealership we found zero inventory. We were helped by Mario and found ourselves needing guidance. Mario gathered our wants and was able to inform us that he had a Yukon on order and should arrive soon. When it arrived he called us and we went to look at it. It was not exactly what we were looking for but we knew of the shortage. Mario did not push to sell us the vehicle because he knew we weren’t extremely happy with it. He gave us the option to build one to our exact specifications which is what we did. We knew it would take a couple of months to get here but Mario provided weekly updates on the status. We never had to reach out to him, because he would always provide an update before we would even ask. Paperwork was smooth once the vehicle arrived. Mario walked us through the entire process from setting up the Onstar all the way through the last signature needed. By far Mario was the best salesman we have ever dealt with. When it’s time for our next vehicle we will definitely come back to Mario again. Great experience.

The salesperson was very professional, knowledgeable and attentive. He thoroughly covered everything in detail. His communication throughout the deal making processes (about 1 week) was on point. My only issue was with the finance dept and their representative. He was not honest or up front and tried to pull a fast one on me. If it werent for the salesperson correcting finance errors I would have walked from the deal. Hence the 4 stars. Good customer service, just be on guard when dealing with the finance dept.

It’s been 8 days since my purchase and I STILL DON’T HAVE MY CAR! Every single day, I hear tomorrow and then tomorrow comes and parts STILL aren’t in. They apparently have the only tracking system in the world without clear updates. They’ve given me the runaround at every single opportunity. And now dodge calls and NEVER call back. I took my truck to a review for some noises in the tires and transmission, I made an appointment for 7am and I was punctual for the appointment, my truck lasted two days at the workshop and they never checked the truck they didn’t even try to talk to me or call me If I wouldn’t showed up at the agency, I would still be waiting for you guys to give me a call about my truck, Im paying for full coverage insurance and all my payments are on time. We had the absolute best experience with Oscar when applying for and then purchasing our new 2021 Sierra. It has been over a month since our initial experience, however, Oscar has continued to assist us throughout the process. Our four year old son was with us during our walk in and he was taken care of just as well as we were. Oscar was sure to provide top tier service and we could not appreciate him more. I had stopped in with my wife to see if they had received any of the AT4 Diesels as I had not heard back from the sales rep. We were met by Isaac who was very helpful, but had to transfer me to Mario as I had spoke to him via email. Apparently Mario was already engaged and we were switched to a third salesman Daniel. We already had financing with check in hand and said which truck we wanted, but the initial process was slow and frustrating. Daniel worked very well with us and answered our questions. We came the next day to receive the truck after PDI and was extremely disappointed with the quality of care shown. The driver door was hit against something and took a chunk of paint and the tailgate looked scuffed with bubbles in the clear coat. The detailing of the truck was lack luster. There was grease and sticker residue all over the vehicle exterior along with chalk marks on the rims and tires. We were never greeted by the manager and waited for over an hour to see the finance person to complete the purchase. Daniel and Isaac were very professional, but we were not impressed with the rest of the team. We have purchased a few GM vehicles over the years from other dealerships and the care shown by the Shamaley dealership was the worst we have experienced and we question their ability to perform service on our new truck.

Brought my car in with an appointment on Monday morning 8am. Heard nothing all day until I had to call into inquire about what was happening. Called two times with no call back as promised by James before I was told they hadn’t even looked at my car. By that time the rental company they use was closed. So had no car overnight and couldn’t pick up a loaner until 11am the next day. It took another 2 days with no proactive phone calls on their end to let me know they couldn’t find anything. Very poor communication from James. Very disappointing because I had received excellent service in past drop offs.

Good evening, Mr. Logston,I had posted a review on Google about a vehicle I purchased from Shamaley Buick about two months ago. I had stated how dissatisfied I was with the sale because of so many issues that came up within a short period of time. Within two weeks of the sale, I had a check engine code due to a misfire in chamber six. I took it to your dealership and it was seen five days later. The technician replaced the spark plug in chamber six and code disappeared. I also found, at the time of pickup, a note in my Jeep that stated “not for sale” which makes me question as to the quality of the vehicle I had already signed for and purchased. Four days later, the code reappeared stating that chamber one had a misfire. I went with a different mechanic who replaced ALL spark plugs and ignition coils; something your technicians should’ve done by doing a thorough check not only when it was being handed over to your dealership from the initial trade in but again when I took it for service for the first error code. Almost two weeks after that, my Jeep began over heating when I would accelerate. I checked the fluids as best I could as I’m not a mechanic, and noticed the coolant fluid was low. Again, something your technician’s should have checked. I had to take it to a mechanic and had the temperature sensor replaced. As of today, I have now encountered an issue with the front drive shaft. After taking it to yet another mechanic, it was determined that the drive shaft currently on the Jeep Wrangler is stock and could not be compatible on a Jeep with an after market lift. I have been quoted by different mechanics between $800-$1,000 to replace the front drive shaft. And now, the wiring to the battery could be faulty secondary to the battery dying almost twice a week. I have to open the hood and move the wires around so the Jeep can start. There is also a leak from the driver side freedom panel that drips water anytime it rains. I have tried to remedy this issue myself with all weather insulation tubing. Seeing as how I’m not a mechanic or work in auto body, it has been a failure. I haven’t even begun to tell you that the detail I was promised was never given. There was literal trash under the carpet in the Jeep as well as dog and human hair. I fear that after this issue is fixed, I will encounter another expensive problem with this Jeep and have to fork out even more money. I have spent close to $600 in repairs, put $600 down and and looking to spend another $1,000 to fix errors thatDo NOT buy from this dealership. My salesman was very professional and attentive and service advisor was cool too but the vehicle I was sold was not worth the price I paid. To begin with, about four days after my purchase, I get a check engine light that there is a misfire in chamber one. I take it to a mechanic and he shows me the state of the spark plugs that were in the Jeep at the time. They definitely needed to be replaced ASAP. I take it to the dealer and I suppose they did it in sufficient amount of time (four days). They ended up replacing one ignition coil. Fast forward to a week later (this weekend) and my check engine light turns on again. Now, its a misfire in chamber 3. Instead of making an appointment with the dealership so they can keep my Jeep for another four-five days, I decided to just take it to a mechanic who could do the job in an hour and a half. I paid $100 to have this fixed and hopefully itll be fine. Please have your salesman get the service dept inspect the ENTIRE engine bay when you buy. I messed up horribly. I wonder what other problems Ill eventually get.

I came in for an oil change and to have my brakes checked. Santiago was great but my issue is with the mechanics. During the check they said all 4 rotors and pads needed to be replaced. They also did a fuel injector and throttle body cleaning. I thought that it was weird that my brakes would need to be replaced so I held of on that to get a second opinion. After leaving the dealership, my truck would shut off at traffic lights and the autostart would not work. I brought it back in the next morning and found that they had forgot to connect a hose. I also went after that to another mechanic shop and they told me my brakes are fine and have over 90% life in them. This is disappointing to hear. I am glad I did not spend over $1k to replace perfectly good brakes.

I came to change engine oil and I usually pay $49 plus taxes, when I received the invoice i was shocked to see the price went up to $69 without notifying me that the price went up. Had an awesome car buying experience this past weekend. I originally just wanted to go in for a test drive but Diego showed me the numbers before running my credit and told me they could get me the payment I wanted. We agreed and they kept their word about my payment after running my credit. The bank was having issues with receiving the contracts but they let me take my vehicle home anyways. I went back on Monday to finish up the contract and was told it would be a few hours until my car was ready they were nice enough to give me a loaner so I could go to work that day. Diego showed me how to set up my phone with that Cadillac app and helped me get set up with OnStar. I had the best car buying experience here Ive ever had will definitely be coming back here for future purchases.

The reason I am giving an 9 instead of 10 is due to the long wait to take delivery of the truck (almost two weeks after purchased). Also, in two days it will be three weeks since I traded my old truck and the dealer hasnt yet paid the loan on it. In 10 days I will have to make the new truck payment and my old truck payment. Lets hope that doesnt happen.Other than that, the dealer experience was pleasant but plan on being there a couple of hours when buying. Most dealers are like that.From the beginning I told them I had my own financing and was not interested on any add-ons like extended warranties, etc. I did like the fact that they honored my request and did not push any of that. Unlike other dealers like Mission Chevrolet where I had a less than pleasant experience when I visited them to buy a Silverado 1500 4X4 Duramax. I test drove and told them to make an offer on my trade and that I had my own financing. They refused to make an offer on my truck unless I agreed on them running my credit to see if they could find a better loan even after the salesman told me they wouldnt be able to beat my credit union rate and term. I will never again set foot at Mission Chevrolet. They lost the sale.The other dealer I contacted was Sisbarro GMC in Las Cruces, NM. They had a truck I liked but they were marking up the truck by $5000 and would not budge. Needless to say I did not buy from them.Then I visited Shamaley GMC and found what I was looking and they treated me great. Also they were not greedy and they do not mark up their vehicles. Much appreciated!I would say the experience was mostly stress free other than having to wait two weeks for the truck to arrive at the dealer after I purchased it but that was mostly out of their control.I have recommended the dealer to others and my friend also bought a truck. I didnt get anything for the referral though.My sales person was Juan Corona. He was great and provided answers to my question in a timely manner and was courteous.I would buy again from them.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!Bought a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Overland and the radio is bad, called them said they aint liable cuz it aint there brand. Week later called again said should of called within 3 days of date of purchase so they could cover it. All they do is transfer you around blaming other people so they wont fix anything. Also when your with finance read the whole paper work because they will say one thing and put down another. Really regret getting the vehicle at this dealership. New SUV and repairs out of pocket doesnt sound like a good thing. If your looking to buy a new or used vehicle look else where not worth your time coming to Shamaley Buick

The customer service here is terrible. I tried to call to set up an appt for an oil change for 2 days and the phones were just ringing in the service department I couldn’t get through to anyone. And then the representative called me asking if I was gonna come pick up my car after he had said he was gonna call me once it was ready. When I asked if it was ready because I had been waiting for a call he said yes. It had been ready for a long time. Ever since I bought the vehicle here I have not been a satisfied customer at all.

Sal, Santiago, Tony and the lady, who I forget her name sorry, who processed my warranty, did deliver as promised.Mr. Castanon (service manager) and his team, offer courteous service and work on improving on a daily basis. After I elevated an issue, they help me resolve it directly with GM, kudos to their team for their help.

I decided to go again,(Out of convenience due to location), against my will since last time I had a bad experience; they made me wait 3 more hours than the estimated time for a regular oil change and did not even provide a courtesy wash. This time I went for a regular oil change, advertised at 49.95, Advisor recommended to also add the cabin air filter and other services totaling 151.45. I agreed and then asked the service advisor if they could change the drivers side headlamp bulb, that had gone bad, I had bought the bulb and had it with me, I have done it before, but since it was in service, I asked him if they could only swap the bulbs (which I provided), I was charged $42.79 for them to swap the light bulb(which again, I provided), which takes about 2 minutes, and I only asked them to do since the truck was in service. Last time I go here, that was such a ripoff...

I purchased a vehicle from this location, I had to return because there were some paint issues that needed to be taken care of. Mario broke my after market antenna while driving it back to the dealership and its been a nightmare since then. There has been a lack of communication on his and ive had to come back here 2 separate times just to get the antenna fixed. I cant wait to get this done so I can cut ties with this place.Separate incident, I scheduled an oil change since I was coming here for the antenna to get fixed. I made this appointment 48 hours in advance and when I arrive I am told they dont have any oil which is specific to my diesel engine and they havent had it for a few weeks. Are you kidding me? Why allow people to schedule oil changes when you dont have any? Why ask me what type of vehicle I have if you are not going to do anything with this information? Why ask for my contact information if I wont get an email or a phone call to indicate we will have to reschedule? The management in this location is clueless, GMC just lost a customer on this one.

I don’t understand why we bought a brand new truck from this dealership in March and it’s June and still don’t have a registration for our vehicle. Went into the dealership (because called for four hours and nobody answered our call) in beginning of may inquiring on why it’s taking so long. Finance manager said he needed more “forms” completed. Said forms included a power of attorney form which we did not understand because my husband and I are both on the loan and both were present for signing???? Again tried to cal today and apparently nobody is there and they closed the dealership. Can someone please give me some answers?
