Great place I get lots of work done there, there a little pricey but the quality of work is spectacular. If you want cheap call your buddy to do it if you want quality go to Tom Fooleries Tattoo.

I’m so happy with my new art! Richard was kind, professional, and welcoming which is something that is hard to find in an artist from personal experience. The shop itself is super cool and they had one of my favorite shows on tv while getting it done. Great work at a great price! Would recommend to anyone looking to get ink in El Paso.

I had a work done here. Price ok which explain why tattoo went bad. The person who did the tat was new. Now looking for a place that will cover down the bad done tattoo. It was a simple tattoo, Will not recommend anyone here. Couldnt come back as I was visiting family and decided to get a tattoo during the weekend.

I went a while back with a friend that only goes here. We drive from Carlsbad NM just for this reason. Alex did the most amazing cover up on my arm. I get nothing but compliments in it. So we just went back a couple of days ago and Alex did hers and if course it is perfect. Richard did mine and it was horrible. I have numbing soap and he barely used it. Very heavy handed and slow. I felt like he was ripping through my skin. My tat is too dark, cant tell what it is. Nothing like he implied it would be or what I wanted. It looks like a blob of ink spilled on my leg. Its still very painful. I can still see the old tat through the ink. Did not cover it good. Its dark and hideous. I paid $250 and I am so mad. Will go back to ALEX ONLY. Will never let Richard near me again. I also just noticed that all the bad reviews on here are about him. Its a great place so dont let one bad apple ruin for it everyone. He has a black sleeve on one arm if you dont know his name. Just let someone else do your work.

Spent 2 days with Amy working on a very special piece in honor of a loved one. She worked with me patiently to figure out exactly how I wanted it to look. It turned out so much better than I expected. I had only positive experiences here and would happily go back.

I love the guys at Tom Fooleries!! They are professional, yet laid back and great at what they do. When you first walk in youll notice how bright and colorful the studio is, which, for me, sets it apart from many other tattoo studios Ive visited and really expresses a love of art, not only inked skin.I first came in for some cover up work and had not known exactly what I wanted. Tony consulted with me on what he thought would make for unique and appealing work, rather than just accepting what I had initially thought I wanted. He explained to me in a very professional manner what he disliked about my idea and trusting him was the best choice I could have made! No Doubt! Im currently stationed in New Mexico and was looking for a tattoo artist that specialized in Japanese style tattoos. I came across Tom Fooleries website and saw the perfect scores they got and they live up to their reputation! Tony worked on my half-sleeve and it came out great. I get a lot of compliments for it and everyone wants to know where I got tattooed at. Not only that even people who arent into tattoos love my half-sleeve and want to know where I got it done at. The team at Tom Fooleries are AWESOME!!!!! They came into town for this body art expo at the convention center in Austin, TX. They were polite, easy to chat with and very professional. They made me feel more comfortable getting my second tattoo with the steps they walked me through and of course the great price they quoted me.Tony did my tattoo and he was very attentive, calm and showed me all the tools he was using right out of the package. I am from El Paso and visit every now and then, but next time I go, I am definitely going to see their place. :0)

I went in today and got a labret piercing. It was such an amazing experience. He explained everything thoroughly and showed me each step as he went so I knew everything was clean and unused. He was very friendly and was very gracious. Plus it was only $20. I will definitely be back here again!

I moved here to El Paso about a year ago and since then, been searching for a tattoo artist who does Asian Calligraphy. Thankfully, I cam across Tom Fooleries Tattoo Extravaganza. I went with an idea of what I wanted and where I wanted to get it inked, but Peter helped me find a better placement that made the tattoo look a lot better. Tony, the owner of the shop, was the artist who did my Japanese Calligraphy tattoo and it came out EXACTLY the way I wanted it, very clean work and well worth my money.The shop was very clean, in which you can tell he runs a professional business. The staff welcomes you as if you are a long time friend, overall it was a great and ultimately satisfying experience. I plan to go back for my next tattoo which is a big project of mine.

Gotten a lot of tattoos, but the best artist Ive ever had the privilege to be worked on by was Alex at Tom Fooleries. Get work done by him before he gets famous and charges 500 bucks an hour. Right now hes incredibly reasonable.

My husband and I went to TF about 2 weeks ago to get some estimates on how much our tattoos would cost. Peter, at the front desk, showed us the shop and introduced us to the staff. Never happened at any other tattoo shop we went. Peter also sat down at his computer and took the time to play around with images and make the tattoo I wanted perfect. We didnt expect any of that to happen but we really appreciated it and felt this was the right place, especially being my first! Just went back yesterday and got my first tattoo on my forearm. The shop was clean, the music was awesome,Tony showed me all of the unopened tools that he was going to use, everyone was so nice. The atmosphere really made me feel comfortable when I was super nervous 10 minutes before walking in. Its nice being able to joke around with the artist and still get a great tattoo at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this shop and would go back for more!

I have gotten 2 tattoos from here. This place is the best. 1st was from Alex and 2nd from Amy. One was no better than the other. I highly recommend this shop. On both tattoos I had ideas of what I wanted, and within an hour they had the perfect stencil.

Ive gotten two of my three tattoos at tom fooleries and im very pleased with their professionalism and love for tattooing. As soon as i walked in i was greeted and helped, when i scheduled my tattoo i was still undecided on exactly what i wanted for my half sleeve but Peters suggestions put my mind to ease and the end result was a great tattoo. I will definitely go back to finish my sleeve.

Most tattoo places Ive been in (but never got work done there) were dirty looking and they didnt do a good job cleaning the areas, but this place was as clean as a top rated hospital! My friend and I both got our first tattoos yesterday with Hong and they turned out great! The artists are fun to be around and even the one we made an appointment with followed up with us when he saw we were getting them. Hong made both of us feel comfortable and asked if we were okay after he started. Opened needles in front of us and poured ink into a tiny cup for single use. Also amazing price for quality work!

Pretty traumatizing experience for a friend of mine and seemed like the tattoo artist/ piercer was clueless, as well as unapologetic when he made an error on a piercing. No recommendation and an experience not worth remembering.We entered a little after 5 PM. We sat and waited for a single staff member to complete a tattoo. The customer experience seems really casual, but I figured it was just an in/ out type of place and the notebooks on the counter have artistic drawings with some decent shading. So, I initially disregarded the pathetic customer service etiquette. It was awkward and the location is in a strip mall. The other businesses nearby are not big-name to generate enough foot traffic. While others mention plenty of parking and a great location, it is possible that it is just because it is beyond the entrance of the Fort Bliss Cassidy gate.The piercing was removed from the package without gloves and then he put on gloves after it was on the tray. The staff member confirmed when he would begin the piercing and allowed my friend to put a dot with the marker where she wanted the piercing. He then took 3 minutes to pierce the skin, lost the stem of the jewelry inside the front of her ear flap. As he circled the jewelry around, blood gushed from her ear and he then proceeded to say Oh, f@#! And repeated this expletive several times. When he finally acknowledged he screwed up, no sorry was given, no care instructions other than be sure to clean it and put Neosporin. Seems like this place is named appropriately—foolery by a team of fools.

They know what they are doing and are very friendly. If you want your work done right this is a great place. Cash is preferred and they have an ATM on site if you need.

Tom Fooleries was very rude, acted as if I was not their, and did not help me in any way as if they were not even concerned with having me as a customer. I dont even think there previous reviews were real, because I was not treated in any way like the other customers that reviewed them. Hopefully this was just my experience, however I was not impressed with the service or the shop.

Well I went yesterday 4/9/16 shop says they closed at 7:45! I showed up at 7 I wanted to ask a question on options for a tattoo cover up and the door was closed I look in the window and I see a guy in there he looks at me and turns away! Not professional at all and FYI to the owners if your business says close at 7:45 and your front door says the same thing why are the doors closed at 7 smh not good business

Tom Fooliers is by far the best tattoo place in El Paso. I have been going to Tony for all of my tattoo needs for over two years. He and Peter gives good advice on placement and size but still maintains what you want done. His pricing is more then fair and his work is excellent. The shop is always clean and well maintained. You can really tell in Tonys work that he actually enjoys his job. My wife and myself had a horrible tattoos done in Pa and Tony was able to recover it and make it prefect. Now Tony is the only person myself and my wife will go to. Their ink quality is also far superb to any of the other studios I have seen. I have not had any issues with fading and any time we had questions he was able to answer them. I definitely recommend TF to anyone looking for tattoos and I have sent maybe people there.. You cant go wrong with TF :)
