Went this morning and I bought 4 rib3eyes 2lbs of riblets came home all the meat is frozen… over charged me and then the food alone you see in the picture is $35 so disappointed. I wanted to support local but how do I continue when This receipt is trash and the food is trash the cucumbers were old

I been eating and shopping here for two years. There is an authenticity aspect to this restaurant/market. My uncle has been a customer since the opening. Delicious food and awesome portions. The owners are humbled. The previous cook passed about a year ago from cancer. He was the original cook. The two female waitresses are awesome. Always superb hospitality. The avocados are always delicious. Mix the salsa and eat with chips and you have a meal.

Fresh meat cuts at good prices. Lots of other grocery items for convenient shopping. They have a restaurant with good food and the service is ashtrays great!

Their variety of produce is good and the meats is pretty good as well. The employees are friendly and fun to be around.

I asked the butcher how much a pound of meat was, he told me $3, so I asked for 4 pounds. After receiving the 4 pounds of meat, I went to the register where the man at the counter wasn’t communicating with me and asked for my card to pay. I left, and when I got to my car I looked at the receipt and realized that I was charged $50 instead of $12. I went back inside and explained to the cashier that the butcher in the back of the store told me it would be just $3 for a pound and he just told me it was $10 a pound. Even then that math isn’t adding up? I got 4 pounds and paid $50? Including a fee for using my credit card. Anyway, I told the cashier that I didn’t want the meat anymore and I wanted to return it (after feeling overcharged and taken advantage of). He said to leave the 4lbs of meat that I just purchased at the deli and to come back AFTER 7pm for a refund. This makes no sense. How does someone leave the meat at the store and have to come back for a refund? Super unprofessional business. I rather dispute this with my bank than to see this place ever again. Go here only if you want to be told wrong prices, deal with rude employees, and get charged for stuff you don’t know about.

They told my friend meat would be $3 and extremely overcharged him and are not offering him a refund. It also seems like more people have had a problem with this company giving false prices.

My dad used to take me to get a good carnitas burrito here back in the day. Came back after all these years and its still amazing

Place us great has all the things u need for a great Mexican meal. Vegetables are great, avocados huge n delicious, n deli with fresh meat. You can have it seasoned or take it home n put ur spin to it. Great place n if u need a snack take a burrito to tie u down till ur meal is done.

Gotta go to this place everytime were in town. Great food, great meats and a great owner. Menudo is their signature dish, if you ask me.

This is a must visit morning breakfast restaurant on Zaragoza. Poncho and the rest here are very kind and they make great food. It gives off a very comfy atmosphere. You have tables and a few spots to sit at the bar. Great place for a family breakfast

We had the menudo. Very good. Service was as well very attentive and prompt.

I was the last customer in the store yesterday and bought their barbacoa. It was half grease and half meat. The meat smelled funny. The bf still tasted it and it tasted worse. The meat was undoubtedly rotten. We went back today to return the food. They confirmed it was bad. They were snarky and didnt want to return our money. They had the audacity to weigh the meat for the return. Instead of returning the meat at the $8.99 per pound that I paid, to they only returned it at $7.99 per pound. Pinchis rateros cant even return the full amount paid for rotten meat. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

Limit menu for breakfast, but there Menudo was exceptional.Bought carnitas hot off the grill, so tender and tasty!!!☆☆☆☆☆

Very dishonest people. Was quoted a price for meat, and the Butcher with the white hair called over the server attending me. I over heared him tell my server to charge him $3. more for the lb that way hell buy what we have cooked.

Meat is good but butcher had mask covering part of his mouth...one hand has glove other hand no glove..so we stayed back a little more

Today I bougth the worst barbacoa I have had in my life from this place. 2 1/2 pounds of liquid fat saturated meat with a horrible smell and even worse taste. After the first taco, to the dogs it went.

COVID19 Price gauging! I normally shop there for all my grilling needs. My husband wanted to grill Carne Asada this weekend, so went to buy meet on 1 May 2030. To paint a picture... I purchased6 pieces of Mexican bread, a candy, a little over 10 pound of carne asada and 4.5 pounds of chicken. To my surprise the bill came out to $105.00. I payed and walked to the car. Placed my stuff int he car then it hit me. I ran back and showed the cashier that she had charged me $95 for the meat. She stated “oh yes didn’t you check when you got the meat... the prices of the meat went up”. I shook my head with disbelief as a true example of precise gauging due to our COVID-19 epidemic. They have lost my business!

We eat breakfast here. The huevos rancheros are good. The flour tortilla was homemade. Tostadas & chile yum. Coffee was delish.

Associates are always friendly, prices are a bit high for their meats, but they do have a lot of harder to find products and off the wall ingredients. I check back often, as they do have specials on their meat.

I called for the price of lamb and the lady who answered said that she didnt know and she was unable to tell me as she had a line.. I asked for her to transfer me to the meat department and she shared they didnt have a phone and she had to go as she had a line. Such bad customer service. What a poorly designed business.

This is the ONLY brisket I buy. Its juicy, perfectly flavoured and a great price. Highly recommend.

Got menudo today and it doesnt taste nearly as good as it used to. Its more brown and murky looking, and honestly tastes a little gross. I can get better menudo at most mexican restaurants than what i received today. This used to be the best menudo in el paso to me. Now its some of the worst.EDIT: I got sick after eating it and have had an awful stomach ache all day. I shouldve known not to eat it due to the smell, color, and taste. You just lost a loyal customer. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL MENUDO

I stopped by to made a deposit on a catering order and they told me they sold my order because I was not here right on time even though I called repeatedly to let them know I was running late. They did not answer though nor did they make an effort to call me. So I had to wait for them to redo the order and thus run late for my gathering. They may have good meat but the service is simply terrible and they are quite rude. It isnt worth it for me.

Never going back. As mentioned before, old man at register over charges. I asked him why he was over charging me, his response was that it was the tax. I asked him to charge me the correct amount. The next day I looked at my account, he had charged my debit card three times. He is rude and thinks its a big joke. Total rip off.

Had Burger and Fries. It is ok, not great. My only complaint was the air vent up front. 1. It was over a table 2. The vent showed signs of smoke/soot? 3. What else could be blowing out the vent onto your food!

When I asked the cashier (older man with gray hair) if it was possible to return a purchase, he answered with tremendous arrogance that he did not and ended his comment by saying ... and claim where you want. Expression that was irrelevant to such a simple and genuine question. I asked him to clarify the part of the claim, and he repeated why not, and when he finished he turned to attend to another client, completely ignoring me. My question was never intended to create contention, and the overbearing, rude, and advantageous manner in which it was answered was too much of a surprise. While I understand your reasons for not accepting returns, I DO NOT understand the need to reply with such arrogance. It was my first purchase from this place, and the LAST. I do not expose myself again to the bitter and contentious attitude of this person.

The cashier is a thief. It is the third occasion that he does the same to me. Charge the most expensive products and if you dont notice, you pay more than the bill. People!!!! Pay attention when paying. I do not know if that man is the owner or trusted employee, but he has been charging there for years.

A crap of butchery and robbery, pay close attention to what they buy and what they are charged, also look at the meat they buy because I got a dial and it was a Sunday when they closed early and ruined all my Sunday family and ami, if they are going to eat ask the cashier to tip them to the waitresses because the owner never gives them what one leaves them, we will never go there again and I do not recommend it to anyone .. thanks for your attention
