Ive been to lots of guitar centers but this one is very depressing. This store is in urgent need of remodeling asap!!! All the lights from the window display are always off or maybe they dont work. As soon as you walk in the carpet is filthy. This is not the same guitar center as it was before. Management really needs to get on the ball and give life to this store! They had 4 sales rep and they were to busy talking, No one came to asked if we needed help.
This location is awesome, I recommend this guitar center. Mr. Frank was very helpful, very polite, very professional and if I come back to guitar center its because of him and his service.
Haven’t been to a music store in ages and decided to take a friend while while I bought some new strings for an old guitar. My friend had never been and had the time of his life playing around with some of the instruments. The highlight of his day was playing with the pedals and being shown a chord on the guitar by Erik (sorry if it’s misspelled), thank you so much. Me and my friend ended up walking out with two new instruments. It was honestly so fun.
Great customer service and great prices on professional audio.
They now have a great staff, very helpful and knowledge. They also want to sell and are truthful. They wont push a product you wont be happy with just to make a sale. They want you to get the right product the first time. The only issue was not much product in the store.
Staff has great expertise and knowledge. They helped us build a custom sound system from scratch. We are very happy with the result and price. Highly recommended.
I played Stairway to heaven and I wasn’t told anything by anyone.I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, after band practice we would all fit as many people as we could and would just go in to check out stuff.I got 2 of my guitars here; and I still come in to check out some of the stuff .. I mainly just get my equipment on their website now, but it’s still good idea to come in and talk the guys on what equipment they recommend. I recently got my PA and the guys helping me where super honest super helpful.. told me what equipment would best suit my needs ..

First visit to a Guitar Center in the COVID era. Popped in to try out some acoustic guitars while on vacation. Really nice staff. Good selection.
Sales rep on the floor can do better with customers. Ive witnessed several reps in several visits seems as if they are avoiding you. I asked to see a keyboard I wanted to purchase he refused to pull it out of the box, showing me another model telling me, its the same thing. In this day an age I believe stores that still sell in person can do better in giving potential customers incentive to visit the store. So far they simply solidify the reasons why its better to buy online. I always get the assistance I need from a music store in Ft. Wayne to their credit. AMS/Guitar can learn something from them.
I personally love this store so much. The workers are friendly and helpful plus I love how they always have their instruments and accessories ready to use if anyone wants to try them out.

Went in today to find a junior guitar for my Niece so I can start to teach her. I found a great little junior yahama for a great price, and I was about to spent over 200 dollars for this guitar and accessories. At the register I was told that I was unable to purchase the guitar for 11 days because it is still being checked to see if it was stolen. I completely understand the process to make sure it isn’t stolen. What I don’t understand is why it was on the display floor.I was offered to put it on layaway but I refused. Guitar center and other stores exist so a person can buy the gear the same day. I refuse to wait 11 days for a guitar that should not have been on the display floor. Amazon and other online companies will eventually close your business if you continue to make it hard for people to buy things in person.

I have been here countless times, and I have yet to meet a single staff member that is rude or stuck up. Everyone here has such great vibes, and theyre really kind and lenient with ppl that just wanna hang out there. The staff is very knowledgeable and are more then happy to share their personal experiences and tricks around instruments and brands.
Staff is not helpful none of them greeted me, I was gonna spend 400 in there but for the employees lazy I rather buy online who ever is the owner of this place needs to pay them better they have all long faces never going inside that shiii hole
Horrible service...I guess they only pay attention to Super Stars because they told me to wait and then preceeded to forget about me. I had to find someone who was willing to help me...worst service ever
This was my first visit. I will be back because I was satisfied with their service. The associates were very helpful, listened carefully to what I was saying to help me find what I needed. My experience there was pleasant and I will be returning. They did not have what I needed which was a Kalimba, but they have other instruments such as guitars drums keyboards symbols sound systems percussions they even have soundproof rooms where you can sing or play an instrument! I really liked it here.

A lot of cool instruments and staff was helpful and patient with the new guys.
Not many basses, guitars, or amps like they had 2 years ago, and the selection is very disappointing.Also, they enforce an overly restrictive mask policy. In restaurants, you must wear a mask until you sit down to eat. Here, even if youre sitting down, and NO ONE is near you, they insist you wear a mask at all times. Totally illogical. Sitting in a restaurant, and sitting in a Guitar Center isnt so significantly different as to remarkably increase your chances of catching a virus. I will not be doing business with them any longer.

Walked in twice with four thousand dollars on a credit card, and nine hundred dollars on a debit card with the intention of buying professional audio for my house. Both days I was assisted very poorly by two different associates because they judged me by my looks, I look young and they simply assumed I did not have enough money to purchase the equipment. I will NOT recommend Guitar Center. These folks have completely trashed the good impression I had about the store, and I will most definitely talk about my experience at Guitar Center with every musician I know when they ask me about my two 15” speakers and two 15” subwoofers that I purchased online because of the poor judgment these folks had about me. Save yourself the burden of visiting the store go directly online and make your purchase there.

First if anyone working there reads this that was understanding and respectful to me (Rudy you rock!) I thank you, but my overall experience at the store could have been better.Friendly employees, but mostly dismissive of their customers. If they can get you to the cash register fast and out the door--they will. When asked technical questions they were unknowledgeable, and would often pretend they knew the answer to shut you up, and get you to the register. They werent helpful in getting me a suitable solution to my needs, and then wondered why I had to make so many exchanges. Their disdain for me is palpable despite what for me is considerable money spent with them. I dont care to return. Its a shame--I like Guitar Center as a company in general, but not this location.If I say Im going to be playing in my bedroom, maybe dont encourage me to buy a 2000-watt loudspeaker.If I tell you a guitar I really want and took home is missing an intonation screw, and has a wiring issue--do SOMETHING about it! I shouldnt have to pester anyone to fix it, or what really happened, again at my initiative, which was ultimately discount the guitar. They acted helpless at my request that they come up with an intonation screw or a new bridge for me, and to fix the grounding problem.I would have rather paid full price and had a complete working instrument. The Fender-authorized technicians couldnt be bothered with me at this location. On top of that they tell me the guitar is all sales final. How absurd! I WANT the guitar! I just want it to be in a condition anyone would expect of a new guitar!I do my own excessive research before a purchase, but I should be able to rest assured that knowledgable people are at the store, and not those who know less than I do, and dont seem to really care.If you dont know something be honest so I dont have to come back... Its not fun or entertaining to me to waste time and gas driving an hour to the store for an exchange.

Im not a musician so I may not have an objective judge. I found the staff to be unfriendly but not to the point of rude. I was looking for an affordable guitar amp, the selection was limited. I wouldnt recommend the place to a beginner like me.
I bought an expensive mic with protection and the guy didnt give me a receipt. Next time Im buying online or whites music box.

I went in the other day to buy myself a small birthday present (electric drum set) on a Sunday morning. Frank greeted me instantly as I walked in and didnt hesitate to offer his assistance for what I was looking for. He was extremely friendly and very helpful with how much I wanted to spend. I cannot express how awesome it felt to be in this store after so many years.My best friend and I would ditch 4th period in high school just to come hang out at Guitar Center. Back then it was so much fun and left me nothing but great memories. We would fantasize about one how awesome it would be to actually own an electric drum set. Here I am, 15 years later and Frank was there helping me make that dream come true.To some this may seem silly. However, to a musician its an entirely different range of emotions. It was fun getting my first guitar, and now have my 3rd guitar from here, and they are good for repairs for any type of guitar.
Its always clean, the people there are very nice and are up to helping you with anything. I love that we can just go there to waste time for like an hour playing around with the instruments and come out buying just small things like picks or a music sheet book or a guitar strap. its AWSOME. your 1st stop to go if you wanna buy an instrument. they have it all there.

Been a GC customer for years. 12+ to be more precise. I’ve bought so many guitars from this company over the years from different locations across the country when I travel. I bought a high end Martin at this very store a few years ago. Had great service then. Went in to look today. Found a usedTaylor I liked. Couldn’t get any help firnthe longest. When I finally did the guy didn’t care if I bought one or not. More worried about my mask. GC has always been a easy to bargain and deal with. Not now. They said since they didn’t have much inventory due to covid there was no reason to work on the price. Now I have a great reason to go somewhere else. Covid isn’t forever. What goes around comes around. Gonna cancel my GC credit card as well. My $ will be spent elsewhere. You’re too stuck up GC ELP.
I have had nothing but great service here. Example-i ordered a boss gt pro with behringer footboard. Gr pro arrived without pedal and the manager fixed the situation. Ive had 2 guitars set up fantastically here for fair price. I woyld easily recommend this store
One of the best Guitar Centers Ive been to staff is really helpful when you have a question and they know what they are doing, the only thing they need to improve on is the selection of guitars especially electric other than that it is great.

Its a decent business but there is an overabundance of steel string acoustic guitars and yes there is a vast difference between nylon string classical and steel string guitars. There are like 10 nylon string guitars in inventory and hundreds of the steel string guitars. Unbalanced variety in terms of acoustic guitars.
Eveything you need for music and instruments. Place is dirty though😬. They really need to work on keeping it clean. Bathroom is a nightmare 🤢🤮

Excellent customer service! was very happy with the treatment I received and the care that was given to my electric guitar. I own a KH-602 and it needed an adjustment to the truss rod, string height adjustment and a cleaning and new strings. Angel in the guitar shop spruced up my KH-602 and made it shiny and new and I couldnt be happier! Thank you Guitar Center and thank you Angel!

The Guitar Center in El Paso TX is so understocked that it feels like walking into a mom-n-pops Shop. There was only 3 acoustics, maybe like 20 eléctric guitars and very few amps to try. The whole store is missing merch.

Frankly, the beginning of my resent transactions with guitar center were pretty bad, multiple shipping issues along with broken equipment. However, after a couple of tried I got in contact with Geoff Crooks, who went above and beyond to help out with my situation. He saved the company 5 total customers, as I order for 4 other people as well. I left pleased, and will be shipping through Guitar Center because of his help. Thanks, Geoff.

Walked in looked nobody asked if they could help. I had to find what I was looking for on my own. There was very limited selection on base guitars. Think Ill just buy online and wont feel like I waisted my time going here

We just bought my daughter a guitar from here. She’s learning and they were so helpful to her. We got a good deal for what we wanted and we’ll be back to upgrade when the time comes. I would really recommend this place if you’re a beginner and need some help choosing what’s good. My daughter loves the guitar and she practices every day. She’s getting better and loving it!
