I cant imagine someone giving this place a negative review. Ive been happy and even surprised everything I stop in

I would definitely recommend this hardware store, it’s small and compact yet it will probably have what you need. Prices are slightly higher than other stores but being so convenient (and local) it’s not a big deal. Definitely worth checking out.

The people are very nice, knowledgeable about the store . The only problem is the store very small and close up .

Dont even waste ur time going here. I live close by have gone a few times and its always locked, nobody there even when it has the open sign on. 3pm. 1pm. Morning. Waste of time. Ridiculous.

I bought spray paint there and it was expensive and very poor quality. I bought caulking that was overpriced for the small amount in the tube. It was put in a too thin recycled bag with too much in one bag. The bag tore on the way to my car and everything fell out. Never going back!

This place always surprises me because it has all the materials you need to build stuff that you would find only at big hardware stores. This neighborhood on the edge of Central and the Westside always needs a convenient local hardware store like Clavos and it is hard to be disappointed with its close proximity compared to Lowes or Home Depot.

I had some trouble with a Mexican doorknob and Antonio was really helpful he helped me get the right parts and fix it! I come all the time for hardware needs

Came to “El Clavo” looking some some Duplex Nails. And they didn’t have any...

Its a reasonable place for hardware, and tools...when they have them in stock...the two I went to didnt have what I needed...plumbing glue, primer, pvc cutters, hinges, and plumbers tape...nothingI went to harbor freight and found everything!

Bad customer service, employee would not allow us to park in front of store. Said would call tow truck if we did. Wont be buying from them anytime soon or near future.
