I would not buy a pool from them again. Took them forever to get the pool, then when it was time to install the pool they sent us the rookies to install it. Instead of sand they put this kind of gravel that they did not bring enough for the job. They did not have enough padding for the bottom. Now the gravel is going through the pad and you can feel it when you walk around the pool. This pool was not cheap. I got the second to the largest splash pool they had. They have moved from where they were, they have not left a forwarding address, they do not answer their phone. Just very disappointed with the service I received.

We purchased a Rainbow play structure for our church through Able Pool & Spa. We had asked if someone can spend a few minutes to help us to get started in the assembly. Nick arrived in the morning as we start to assemble the play structure. The play structure was a lot more complicated to put together than we thought. The instructions were complicated and were not the best in taking you step by step to do this. Without any hesitation, Nick proceeded to help us assemble the base of the structure. He made it look easy. It wouldve taken us hours to get done what he did in 15 minutes. For some reasons, there were a few missing pieces of the structure. Nick went back to the store and returned with the missing parts. Without us asking, he continues to help us assemble the play structure. By then we had all the play structure accessories put together (swings, slide, robe ladder, etc) and he helped us attach them to the play structure. The slide was especially hard to do. But Nicks instructions and help was invaluable in getting that done correctly. Nick went away to take care of some businesses but return again later in the afternoon to check up on us and finally helped us complete the play structure. We would not have been able to assemble this in one day without Nicks help. Thanks Nick!!!Agape Church

Well, where do we begin? We bought a hot tub in July 2020 and everything went pretty well until after the tub was delivered. During and/or after delivery, we noticed two slats that needed replacement - one was broken and another bowed. After many, many, many phone calls and conversations to get the two slats replaced, the owners/operators blamed EVERYTHING on the distributor. REALLY? 7 months to replace two slats? This is some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these people. It will be the best thing you’ll ever do for yourself in your entire life.

I contacted them because I was interested in a fiberglass pool. I had already began a pool project by having the hole dug by a contractor. During this time I researched, I decided to do a fiberglass pool instead. I mentioned this to them, and they said because I already had the hole they could not help me. I was not trying to save money by already having the hole, and I mentioned that and they refused to quote me. I even mentioned I would have the hole covered again, and they seemed to not understand 🤦🏻‍♂️. I then decided to end call. NEXT!

I went to get a quote. Extremely unprofessional, they dont have booklets and when I went online and looked at their options and asked about it the lady was very rude with very limiting information. To me it seems they are more interested in you being approved before they talk to you. Also 4 months to install fiberglass pool?! Anywhere else they do it faster. Once I mentioned that I could get approved by a financing company she immediately said oh I can move you closer to the top of the list idk about yall... But if Im spending so much money I expect better customer service. Look around for others in my opinion

They are so helpful with all my pool needs! We recently bought a house with a pool and had issues and they were able to help us out 100% and more!! They clean our pool and keep it clean and are very punctual! The office staff communicates exicellently and always there to answer my questions!! I highly recommend them for ALL your pool services! And great prices too!

Call for information on pool services, lady i spoke was not helpful at all. She passes me to another guy who asks questions about our pool, he says he needs to look at his schedule to see if he can come take a look at our pool, he has not returned call. I guess his schedule is really full.

We purchased a Rainbow playground and spent thousands of dollars. It was beautiful. But this fades because this company does not stand by their warranties and when you call to have someone come and inspect the wood and replace due to weather and age they dont have anyone to do this. They also dont have anyone to keep up with the maintenance of the the equipment. The bolts need to be tightened as expected. It needs to be sanded and painted with weather proofing stain. They dont have anyone to do this or so they say. It started out well, but though out the time we have this set, we find it is harder and harder to have someone help us maintain it. Note to self and to you the consumer. Save your money and dont purchase this from Able pool and spa they only care about pools and not this equipment nor their customers!

Although we are happy with our pool, now. I am still utterly disappointed with the service I received from Able Pools and Spa. Multiple times I was given appointment times for installation and each time the installer was either late or did not show. The sales rep definitely overpromised on their capability and the process of our pool installation. I would not recommend anyone purchase from Able pools.

Purchasing a hot tub is a big financial decision and after months of research we finally decided on Able (believe me, we looked at many brands and spa stores). We took several visits to the store and each time Mark was patient and helped answer all our many questions. The set-up crew was great. Thank you Able Spas!

I have wanted a pool for many years and finally decided to get a pool for my family. After researching fiberglass vs concrete pools for options and maintenance and researching the many pool companies in town, I decided to go with Able Pool and Spa. It was the best decision I made for selecting a pool contractor. They were friendly and listened to what I wanted. They presented me with various options for customizing my pool. After the major decisions were made, they came to survey the area and though the pool area was smaller than they first believed, they were confident the pool would be installed as we had decided. During the construction their employees were respectful and efficient. They cleaned up as they worked and kept me informed of their progress. Once finished, the pool was better than we had dreamed of! I cannot thank Able Pool enough for making my dream of a pool a reality.

Superior company and service. I bought both a playground set and a hot tub - great prices and quality on both. The manager and staff will go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Strongly recommend doing business with Able pool and Spa.

The pool is great quality and the associates are kind and knowledgeable BUT... there are ZERO instructions on how to build the ladder, how to build the sand filter and how to install the light. These were very frustrating to build. We do appreciate that the sales associates are extremely helpful and answer all our questions but without instructions this made it difficult.

We are happy that we have a pool here in hot El Paso to ease our minds of not being near a beach. However, I wish there was another installer in the area. The customer service started to be great (wheel us in for sale), to being disrespected (already baited in), to repairing customer relationship (damage control), then back to lack of communication...(poor customer service). Highly disappointed. I could go on and on; however, I believe we have wasted enough energy.

We purchased a Hot Tub off the floor at Able. Everything about the purchase was outstanding, from the great sales person who answered all my questions without pressure, to the good price on the hot tub, and most importantly, the amazing, fast, knowledgeable and friendly service techs who delivered the tub and helped sort things out to get us started up! Would highly recommend Able to anyone.

There were two men working when I went in. Dominic was very polite and had wonderful customer service skills. Unfortunately I didnt get the older mans name. He was very rude and very demanding. I was not made aware of the charge for testing water. He made me very aware of it and in the rudest way possible. He made me feel bad for Only spending $15 in my last visit. Thats ok though there is always Leslies Pool store where they are always happy to help and know proper customer service regardless of how much you spend.

Rowena (not sure if correct spelling) the owner is very nice and caring towards her customers. I feel like inviting her over for Thanksgiving dinner or other family events. She introduced me to her very knowledgeable staff. The staff to name a few Sara and Mark are extremely professional and knowledgeable about products and service towards spas. I have had nothing but trouble getting my water balanced on my spa (New owner). They have guided me to spa bliss, now my spa is my Zen place thanks to them. I unfortunately did not purchase my spa @ablepoolandspas. I purchased it at a competitor of them. I wish I could turn back time because the Las Cruces Pool company sold me the spa. They have not been very helpful with my issues with water. The spa was not cheap, you would think they would be as helpful as Able Pool and Spas. Went in today and the man working was extremely rude. We are a military family and have lived all of the country and I have NEVER had such rude customer service! I was asking the guy what kind of pool vacuum I needed to buy and about the chemicals so I could purchase from them. He told me I needed to go to the place that I purchased the pool. He would offer me no information. If I wasnt planning on buying there I could totally understand but I was. He said, I cant tell you what to get for your pool itd like taking a steak from another resteraunt and bringing it to my resteraunt to cook it. I told him exactly the kind of pool I had and he knew what I was talking about! I went over to Leslies Pool Supplies and gave them my almost $300, they answered all of my questions very nicely and assisted me in finding exactly what I needed. If I could give this place a negative star I would!

The customer service here is horrible. I bought a Walmart pool for the summer since were going to start building our house in September and want to put an underground pool. We were considering Able Pool to install the pool but after going to them to buy pool products, we will be taking our business elsewhere. Theyre extremely rude (with exception of two employees), not willing to help if you arent buying one of their pools and talk to you like youre an idiot. One of the female employees bumped into my three year old and didnt even apologize or see if she was ok.

We purchased a Maxx spa tub 7 years ago from Able and enjoyed their continuous support in terms of water testing and advice as long as we lived in El Paso. When we moved to Las Cruces and had a problem with a leak, they came out and fixed it at no cost. (A couple of couplings had loosened up over time and required a twist of a wrench to fix them.) Moreover, the fellow who fixed the problem, Nick, was on time, courteous, and obviously skillful in what he did. I would highly recommend this company.

Everything is working out great! We looked at the Maax 481 last Sunday and I will be in it tonight!

Amended: Able owner Rowena does everything she can to make the customer happy and was shocked to read this review. She let me out of my contract right away although it isnt clear whether I will get my $100 service deposit back.This review is ONLY about the weekly pool service that I had between April and September 2015 and not about Ables other products and services.I had Able Pool service for my weekly servicing in 2008 - 2010 and they were great. The pool was always sparkling. I dont know what happened this year. This year I had very shoddy pool service. I am not sure if it was an issue of individual technicians that I happened to have, but it is not a problem that extends to the owner/managers of the company. The technicians would spend five to ten minutes if that. According to the contract, they are supposed to brush the pool and vacuum every time they come and they did not do this. I called attention to this issue a number of times until it got too stressful to keep complaining.My pool was cloudy like milk for the first three months of service and the technicians never did anything to fix the water quality - I had to ask the owners to amend my contract so that I had control over the chemicals and water quality and the owners worked with me on that. I was able to clear the pool up in a couple of days - but why pay for a professional service when one can do the job better oneself?I would be cautious about using the pool cleaning services again although I had an earlier impression that they were the best in town. Not sure if its because I have a small play pool that the technicians dont enjoy servicing or dont take seriously, or because individual technicians that I had this year were insufficiently trained on SoftSwim products (the pool is not a chlorine pool).I would give five stars for the company, given that they are the only dealer in town for SoftSwim products and provide a great water analysis service, but this experience with the weekly cleanings was not positive.
