Great stuff to find at the commisary located at Los Angeles Air force base. Great sales specials at the end of each isle. Staff were very Friendly and Helpful .

Very clean. Wide aisles. Professional staff. Its there for military active/ retired personnel and general public can come as guests with them. Nice experience.

Used this facility while visiting and it is one the best looking well stocked commissarys I have ever seen.

This is a great base to visit if your Active Duty or Veteran and ever in the South Bay area. Has gas pump station and Exchange.

A great place for active duty, retirees and other authorized persons to shop.

Commissary stocked with good quality groceey items. The Exchange carries above average quality items. And definitely small stock on electronics. Id recommend visiting a different Exchange.But the staff makes up the shortfall. Great service!

This commissary has a little of everything and the staff is always friendly. They have a good selection of produce and it’s fresh. Their meat selection is good as well. They have a sushi bar and a deli station for quick bites.

You never go wrong on the commissary!

Always empty, stocking is mehh so some items might not always be in stock but man...cant beat the prices!!

Have to be active duty or retired to get in the base but the place is well run and has reasonable prices.

Great place to shop at. Good prices, you can find most things here. Gave it 4 starts because the cashiers can sometimes be unprofessional (I’ve experienced bad behavior) and they don’t really give off a welcoming sincere service (3 of the ones that are always there )The staff that walks around the store is very helpful, every time they see me looking for something they offer help and are very nice. As far as baggers they should only have one per customer so you don’t have to tip 2, specially if you go there multiple times a week.

Prices are good, if not always consistent with what it says at shelf. Good selection for a relatively small store. Would like to have the Santa Monica fish people come in more often, also when not there and only have shelf selection offer more fresh caught and LESS farm raised fish.

Always pleased with LA Air Base commissary. I was helped this morning by a stock employee who helped retrieve and item that was not stocked on the shelves, and replenished the item. Excellent knowledge on how he verified the product was in the back, and I waited maybe 3 minutes.

This is a wonderful exchange. Though its not a large exchange, they offer a great selection of the most needed items. I only shop here when going to pick people up from LAX, but always look forward to going to the BX. My only complaint, which isnt with the BX itself, but with the food court. The floors have been dirty every time Ive gone, and the bathrooms are not clean and stocked well. But the BX is great!

A lot of the items were out of stock that I needed in the evening of 1/5/2020 and store very clean and hopefully inventory will be more up to par considering there will be more shoppers now including veterans.

A great place to get supplies for the home as well as great buys on groceries, especially in their meat department. In addition, they have been exceptionally good Barber who only charges $12 for a very good cut. Highly recommended

It’s a good size commissary. It has everything I need when shopping. The only gripe I haveIs getting on the base. When you come during traffic hour it can take forever to get in.

For those who regularly shop there, its probably easy enough to find things, because they know where to look. I was a guest and found it to have too much cramped into a limited/small space. The place here they had expanded to make room for another, bigger department of products was completely hidden away, as if through a secret doorway. Had I not been told by my host what was back that direction, I would have mistaken it for the back-end or warehouse portion of the store (off-limits to the shoppers); of course, I would have been wrong.I didnt bother looking around on my own, as the usable space was just too jumbled.

The staff is always so helpful and they got us out of there quick and easy.

It was really nice to go to. Product was easy to find, and there really is not tax. There is a surcharge and idk what its for, but its less than tax and a lot of the product is cheaper. Good place to shop.

If you did not keep your life on the line for America as Americas Special Operation, Rapid Deployment Forces, Americas Guard of Honor for 5 decades February 12, 1969 to September 11, 2008 with 5 consecutive post 9-11 Deployments, please dont ask. Why is NO ONE answering the phone? (Called a week before and the same thing occurred) Even the website doesn’t work. Some people want to make sure that the store actually have items and food in stock before they drive all the way over there and deal with a long line.

I will always love coming to this place. Have been since I was a kid thanks to my military family. Now that Im a civilian, being able to enjoy the commissary, cheaper gas prices, the PX, and a great gym will always bring me back.

People who dont understand shopping rearranged this store. I love the prices and the quality and the help. But things are very difficult to find sometimes. I feel thats the one large flaw in the store.

First time...checked out the BX and the commissary...prices seem unbeatable so far, well for the items I typically buy

We come every other week, prices are reasonable. Staff and employees are polite and courteous. Have had only one incident with one young bagger, she was pretty rude.

Prices are not as competitive as you would think. Even if you dont pay tax here a lot of the times items are cheaper elsewhere. Selection is okay. Location is very clean. Parking is abundant. The only problem is price and selection.

Cant go wrong at the the commisary! Gas prices are a bit higher than Arco, but I believe the benefit balances out between tax savings and price points.

Made me remember how much fun Id have shopping with my mother in law it was so fun to help her shop today.

Here at 10 am, after a long night of duty. There is one self checkout stand open, and about 15 retirees in line. About 45 minutes later, we’ve moved about 3 people through, I’ll check in again in a year when I finally get to check out. I’ll probably be close to retirement by the time I get through this.

Definitely beats local prices. Selection is good and improving. Under construction to modernize.

Not as big as I imagined it would be. The PX itself is pretty limited as well as the food court, but if you need to do a quick trip for must have essentials then I guess its worth it.

Come here mostly for grocery shopping or the gym. I love their outdoor rubbet track. Always forget the commissary is closed on Mondays.
