I had to write a review regarding the experience I had with Mattress Firm/Elgin. I purchased a mattress a few months ago and was not happy with my purchase (twice). Typically I purchase something and I have very happy with it. This time that was not the case. HOWEVER, instead of Mattress Firm giving me a hard time, they were very gracious and truly seemed to want to get me in the right bed! I worked with Jesse (who is new to Mattress Firm but NOT the the mattress business! He was kind and knowledgeable. After I came in, I narrowed it down to 2 different mattresses and they told me to come back and lay on them for a while - and thats exactly what I did! I FINALLY found the mattress I know I am going to love (its being delivered next week). Tim the DSM was kind enough to allow me to make the exchange and with doing that they actually made more $ because I purchased a more expensive bed. AND Tim had some great stories about Mattress Firms history! They (including Leo) were great to work with and I WOULD purchase again from them but am HOPING this will be my last time (well at least for this bed) :) Who knows, maybe one day, I will need another bed for another room.. if I do, I know where I will go! They were very friendly when I entered the store. Josh immediately introduced himself. Of course I was there for a new mattress. He spent his time explaining the options I had. Crystal, the manager, gave information about the benefits about the one I was interested in. I am really excited for the arrival of my purchase. Crystal thoroughly explained the paperwork. The option of special financing was unexpected.

My husband and I went into Mattress Firm Elgin not knowing exactly what to expect as we had never bought a new mattress like that before. We were greeted by Jesse Abreu, Mattress Firm calls their staff sleep experts and Jesse was exactly that! He was extremely knowledgeable on all mattresses we tried out. He was patient, as I had absolutely no clue what I really wanted. He was friendly and relatable which combined with his knowledge and patience I felt we were in more than capable hands. I didnt feel like we were just a sale. Even if we didnt decide on a mattress today (which we did!) I would have ONLY come back to work with Jesse!

Went into Mattress firm not really knowing what type of mattress I wanted. My salesman Jesse showed me and had me test out several different type mattress, different firmness memory foam, coil, hybrid which made it really easy to make my decision. It didn’t take forever to find the right mattress and he was very friendly!

Crystal Barnes (manager) helped my husband and I find the perfect mattress and was incredibly friendly and personable! She answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable on all things mattress related. We had our mattress delivered in three days and the delivery men were quick setting it up and were friendly as well. After having to get a refund for a mattress we previously purchased from a different store (waited 6 months and still didnt receive the mattress), we regret not coming to Mattress Firm in the first place. Id definitely recommend shopping here. They have a variety of mattresses to choose from and the customer service here was great!

We purchased our first Purple Hybrid Premiere mattress, as well as a power base, from this location and the sales associate and manager were wonderful to work with! They answered all of our questions (we had a TON) to make sure we were confident in what we were purchasing and investing our money in. Delivery was ahead of schedule, the delivery guys were very nice and respectful of our home, and they were quick with setup of both the base and the mattress. We are in love with our new purchase, including our pup! 10/10 would recommend and buy from this location for future purchases.

I just purchased a bed in the South Elgin store. Crystal took about an hour for me to try out all the beds a couple times until I narrowed them down to 2. Then let me try them again. She explained the differences between each of them in detail until I understood and was SUPER patient. Went back the next day to purchase it and was super nice. Steven helped out too when Crystal was busy, until she could step back in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted i was shown the proper process for COVID. I already knew what I somewhat wanted that was uncertain. I wanted one of the purple mattresses. So Stephen is very polite, knowledgeable and broke it down into laymans terms to me so that I can u understand the differences between the purple 2 and 3. I might of have drove him a little crazy since I was hopping from one bed to the other trying different pillows, but he was patient so I can make my discussion. Over all I had a great experience I highly recommend mattress firm in Elgin on Randall and Bowes road.

Crystal did a great job for us. I live in a different state but she did such a good job with my mother in law’s bedding that I called her to process our order. She set it all up and got us great pricing. Would recommend calling the Elgin Illinois store on Bowes Rd for all your needs no matter where you live!

Crystal assisted me and was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. She helped me stay within my budget, and I was pleasantly surprised with how fast the mattress could get delivered (just 2 days later). Also, I felt very safe (in regards to pandemic protocols), with several hand sanitizer bottles, and mask/social distancing protocols followed).

2 beds didnt last even 3 years.18 months i owned the 1st bed. It got to the point it hurt to sleep on. Had another bed i purchased since at one point I had roommates. So I left it alone since I was working so much at the time. I was rushing to get sleep and go to work repeat. Year goes by this bed is torn at a seem, bent, springs showing.Got time now so I put in the warranty for both of them.I got Denied on both.There liers and thieves im never coming back.One said they cant due to stains.Cat knocked over pop on it while it sat in my spare room for the last year. It doesnt have anything to do with springs popping out of my bed.

Super helpful and very friendly! I needed a box spring at the last minute on a Sunday night right before closing. I called to ask if they had one in stock and said I’d be right over. When I arrived less then 10 minutes later they greeted me right away, rung the sale, and helped me load my box spring. I was back in the car and home within 20 minutes! Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend this location and use them again in the future.

I bought a new mattress from American Mattress in May. They told me it was a firm mattress even when I questioned the name saying extra firm. They told me that I couldn’t exchange the mattress. I am miserable with it. I stopped at the Elgin Mattress Firm and Crystal answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the differences in each one. She patiently helped me find the right mattress and assured me that I could exchange it if I wasn’t comfortable with it. She treated me honestly and with respect. I really appreciate that.

Ive been really happy with the service Ive received from Crystal, the manager at South Elgin. When I had problems getting a warranty replacement frame from the manufacturer, Crystal went above and beyond to make things right. This is where we will be shopping for all our mattresses and frames.

After buying a mattress from a competitor, I went to Mattress Firm. Unfortunately, I had issues and had a terrible experience masked with fake customer service by Andrea (Manager). She greeted me with politeness and concerned (fake). I explained how I bought another mattress from another company and it was the wrong mattress, however I wasn’t going to purchase another with the previous company due to the return policy. She assured me that Mattress Firm return policy was every bit easy (it was) and she would ensure that if there were any issues she would follow up and help in anyway she could through the buying process. I went ahead and tried several mattresses (wasn’t rushing into this decision) she helped me (when I was the only one in the store). However, a couple came in and they were her main objective ($SALE$) while she pawned me over to Kristin. She was great thankfully. Oh Andrea, did come over to see if Kristin was doing her job, which she did better than Andrea (even though Andrea was a Manager) now, I went ahead and bought a mattress but what do you know, Andrea swooped in and ended the sale. (I’m sure to get the commission). Delivery day came!! So excited to get my mattress and my headboard to be delivered the next day. Mattress came, it went smoothly, except the delivery guys came in without booties and no professional truck or uniform. The next day I’m getting my headboard and Andrea calls to confirm this. I said is everything on board and they can attach the headboard to the base tonight. She goes no. I said to her we discussed this as we were sitting down to end the sale. (See, she was so busy trying to get both sales at the same time, she could care less about the details, especially for me). I was livid, I told her why the heck would I buy a headboard without the parts! I was done, I hung up. Then, after sleeping on the mattress for a month I needed to return. Thankfully, when I called, Andrea was off and I explained to the wonderful man named David my issue with Andrea and I didn’t want to talk to her or deal with her. He asked how we can help and he went above and beyond helping me to return, it was an easy process. Also, offered his help regarding getting the right parts to attach the headboard. Can’t say enough great things about David. If you go in and buy from Mattress Firm, I would whole heartily wait till David is there and make certain that Andrea can’t swoop in and take over the sale. A-Z with David. Oh buy the way he made sure I received my return money back too! Andrea if your reading this, I hope you take a class on Customer Service and respecting co-workers because how you handled not only my purchase but others recently is a terrible way to undermine your co-workers.

I had a great time at this Mattress Firm! I thought mattress shopping was boring and I have been dreading it for months. My sales associates are what made this experience everything that it was. Belinda Bosler and Mike Jones are a great combo! Together they were very helpful, patient, professional, and humorous at the same time. They helped my boyfriend and feel very comfortable. We left with 3 quality mattresses and pillow sets for an awesome price.

My husband and I were looking to replace our mattress. We live in the Elgin area so I searched on google for mattress stores in the area. We went to the Bedding Experts on Bowes Road. Upon entering the store the sales manager named Lee welcomed us to the store. He was very friendly. He talked with us about what type of mattress we were looking for. Once we figured that out he showed us mattresses that would fit our needs. He allowed us to have our time trying the different mattresses in the store. Ultimately we bought a Sterns and Foster. We are very happy with our purchase. We would like to thank Lee for making our purchase a great experience.

Our last mattress was a top of the line Verlo that lasted us around 20 years so we were unaware of new technology in this sector. Luckily, we stumbled upon the store in Elgin off Bowes Rd where we met someone who not only knew the product but took time to educate and effectively qualify us for the perfect match. Shelia Coklan helped us narrow down what we wanted just like an optometrist does for one seeking proper galsses for vision. She listened and asked a lot of qualifying questions, paid attention and truly cared for our needs. While working with us, she also assisted another customer which gave my wife and I an opportunity to surf the net for reviews and compare products for price and value. We asked Shelia point blank about some negative reviews to see how she would respond. Her answer was simple, corporate is always listening to customer feedback and made a decision to bring new management to this site in order to better serve our clients. Because she responded positively, my wife and I made up our minds to make the purchase. My wifes sciatic nerve which had literally been a pain in the butt has subsided and we both cannot remember a time when we have slept so well. Thank You mattress Firm for recognizing Shelia, Im sure others will agree. We would not think twice about referring this location. We are actually going there to replace the guest bed today!

I had a wonderful experience using MATTRESS FIRM, Elgin (located very near the corner of Randall Rd and Bowes Rd) ...because of both Andrea and David being not just good, but OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONALS.Andrea and David made this buying experience both enjoyable and very low stress. They are extremely knowledgeable, went OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP, and were absolutely kind and caring toward both me and my purchase. In no way did they try to upsell me, but inquired and listened to my sleeping needs and issues, only to focus on MY personal comfort.I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for helpful guidance in purchasing a mattress/sleeping system, as I am most satisfied with my new electric adjustable base and my mattress. The experience was more like dealing with friends than sales personnel.I would highly recommend MattressFIRM, and both ANDREA and DAVID to all who are in the market for a better and more restful sleep!Let me just say that I have had better delivery experiences than this particular one, however, I want to make it perfectly clear that in NO WAY is it a reflection on either Andrea or David. As a matter of fact, David came to my home very soon after the delivery and corrected the errors of the delivery installment and attachment. He stated the errors were rare, but quickly corrected them. That was over and above the call of duty for David, but very MUCH APPRECIATED.Overall, I could go on and on how wonderful this total buying experience was, though I truly believe anyone reading this review should experience this all the themselves at the MattressFIRM store, Elgin!!

I live between Denver and Chicago and have an extremely busy life so walking into a store and having to listen to endless amounts of sales pitch is not my thing. Came into the Elgin store where I met Lee Mugnolo. Talk about a painless shopping experience. Lee was knowledgeable about all of the different models and features available. He got me setup with my new mattress and box spring, I couldnt be happier. Thanks Lee youre awesome!

I have to say we had a mixed experience. Our buying experience at the store was a great one which I would give 5 stars. Kyle and Craig were very pleasant and attentive but not pushy. Kyle showed us all the different kinds of beds we might be interested in at different prices. We actually spent about 2 hours there and finished after closing. We finally decided on one but I was not thrilled about the wired adjustable base. Upon further talking Kyle was able to upgrade it for us with a price match from another store. Perfect. We purchased the set and then to our dismay the complications began. We found if you live west of Elgin your delivery days are down to Wed and Saturday in our area and you must be available the entire day. ok I guess thats the price you have to pay for living in Hampshire? So we set everything up and on Saturday the nightmare began. The drivers were asked to call me 2X to let me know where I would be in the scope of delivery. They did not! They did not come until 4:30 and promptly told us they could not put the covers on the mattress which was specified on the ticket. They were not friendly at all and rather rude. I must say only the lead one. The other one was quiet. They left the front door open in the extreme cold until I went down to shut it and put parts of the bed together wrong and when my husband called them on it they said they do it that way all the time but they would do it the way he wanted. They were also kind of messy. They also did not ask about the old bed pickup which was clearly on the sheet. Good thing we decided to keep it but they didnt know that. After they left we noticed a hole in one of the bases and called the store. We were told they would certainly replace it and that was set up. 10 days later the new base came. Different delivery crew thank God. They called me and said I would be first thing in the morning. When they got here they were pleasant and efficient and professional. Why couldnt they have come the first time? I guess some people just need to be retrained. Kyle was very helpful through this awful delivery ordeal and tried to help but you can only do so much if you are the middle man. So I would give the store a 5 and the delivery a 0. Therefore the 3 rating. P.S. We love our new bed and before the delivery of the second base I found our mattresses cheaper and called Kyle and he price matched plus 10% as promised. No hassle.

Kyle was awesome! Went to a few other places and were scared off. My husband and I were weary because of what we experienced at some other locations nearby. Kyle asked me about my Larkin hoodie... and it turned out he went there and played football for them. Small world. I always like supporting local businesses and local people. He gave us some great discounts and was very flexible on prices and delivery. Most importantly, he cared about me and not about making a sale.Cant recommend this location enough.

We had originally gone into American Mattress and were shocked by both the poor customer service, as well as outrageous prices. On our way home, we decided to stop into this Mattress Firm location. Liborio greeted us politely after walking another customer out (which was a good sign to us that there were actually other people shopping here). We explained to us what we were interested in, then showed us our options. I had asked about the floor model discount and he showed us other options. We were extremely pleased with the selection and the prices. Liborio made it a wonderful and fun experience, and even stayed past closing time to help us close the sale. We were even surprised at how quickly the first date of available delivery was! All in all, great service, and a great location. We will definitely seek out Liborio and Mattress Firm with future bedding needs.

I recently ordered a beautyrest from this location. Kyle Engen was great at helping me find a mattress that not only suited my preference but also my budget. He was able to price match and give me a deal better then one i had previously found at another store. I would definitely recommend this store. Sales people were friendly and easy to work with- not too pushy like some other mattress stores. Cant say enough good things about the Elgin location and Kyle for working with us to fit our needs. We will be returning customers!
