EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I read several terrible reviews for Chauncey’s and great reviews for EC Pawn, so I decided to give Elizabeth City Pawn a try. Their reviews were spot on! Great friendly atmosphere, polite and professional staff and have the utmost respect, care and compassion for their customers. They are down to earth and as helpful as needed. I will frequent them ONLY from here on out! They truly put Chauncey’s to shame. This place was great to deal with! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They seem to be very knowledgeable when I had questions about a particular firearm. I got a great deal on the firearm and they got me out the door quick! These folks are first class and I will definitely be going back!

I have visited Elizabeth city pawns on several occasions and was very pleased every time. I met Mr. Eric the owner he is a very nice man and really down to earth and doesn’t mind helping customers out. The selection and prices are better then anyone else’s by far that I have ever been too

This store is great/ very nice and Knowledgeable about gun specs. I even test them out on a specific gun platform. They know there stuff. I will be back when all the stuff thats going on clams down to buy a gun.

I recently purchased a firearm from them utilizing their layaway. Not only did they work with me with the layaway they are also very knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. If you have questions, they are patient and if they dont know the answer they will tell you and then attempt to find the answer. Quite the opposite of the other place in town that will just drop a line of b.s. to sound smarter than you. I HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone that asks me about purchasing a firearm. Their prices are fair and in most cases pretty good. They are also willing to bargain if you feel a price is too high. If they dont have it in stock... They can probably get it and for a decent price. Ive asked about several firearms and they matched the prices I could get them for. I have yet to have a negative experience here. Check them out. Its worth the trip.

I recently pawned a few items at this pawn shop. Being new to the pawn business, and the area, it was really great that the guys that worked there, Chris and Eric, were friendly and reasonable. These guys worked with me until we could figure out a solution, and were easy to talk to as well as overall genuine and good people. I would recommend this place to anybody that is trying to sell any goods. Awesome experience. I would go back here any day, even to just hang out.

I went in there this morning to look for a laptop. I stood in front of the laptops for about ten minutes while the staff had various conversations with people that mostly seemed to be related to non store matters. One employee actually asked me to move so he could turn a tv on but did not offer to help my. I will never go back there.

Went into this gun shop just looking aound to see what they had. they were seling a hi-point 9mm carbine for 449.95$. also while i was in the store a man was trying to sell them a .22 rifle the boy behind the counter was pointing it around the pointed the rifle at a co worker then fired the rifle WITHOUT checking to see if this rifle was unloaded.. will never go back to that horrendously staff store.. chaunceys pawn and gun was better priced and handled guns in a safe matter....

For my gun needs, when Im in Elizabeth City, I will look at Elizabeth City Pawn & Guns. I trust Jeremy for good knowledge and advice.

Went in to pawn a Verizon tablet that I got last year. Was told it was an older model and could only get $15. Really? Dont think so.

Not a Happy Customer. The store is small and they dont have much to chose from as it pertains to firearms and they are not the friendliest and when asked if there were any other Pawn shops in town, they lied and said NO when there is clearly Chaunceys Pawn around the corner!!!!!!! Obviously they are scared of the competition!

Customer service is very poor. The young man that I spoke to in at the store and on the phone was very rude and when I asked him a question he got an attitude with me.
