Unprofessional Dr. Would give zero stars If I could. Luckily I dont have to return! The staff is friendly but the Dr is another story to say the least!!!! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Had my first ever eye exam by Dr. Larissa Pundy today. Basic eye exam is $65. I signed a form specifically stating I don’t mind paying an extra $20 for pupil dilation and that I DO NOT want to pay for retinal photography. Her staff both said she would explain this to me. She did not.During the exam Dr.Pundy was going through the motions of the exam. I had already told her and her staff I’ve never had an eye exam before and didn’t know what to expect. She then tells me to sit in front of this machine and to stare at it so she can check my eyes. Then she quickly says “oh can I take a pic?” I’m assuming this is apart of the basic exam. I already provided her a form that I signed and dated that said NO to retinal photography. So I said sure. Her staff gave her that form where I said no. Why would you ask me that after I told you I don’t know what to expect. Her staff looked at the form after I disputed the $20 up charge and told her it said no. She yells back “she said I could”. More than once I stated this is my first exam and I didn’t know what to expect. So why have somebody sign a form, when the form means nothing anyway? Manipulative.Do not use Larissa Pundy or the Walmart Vision Center in Elk Grove Village.

I should have read posted reviews before going to appt. I paid 54.00 for an exam and contact fitting. 20.00 copay 34.00 for contact fitting) I have good insurance and should have paid zero. Exam was not thorough at all. This practice is a complete RIP OFF!!! I dont know how they continue to take advantage of customers.!!!

Wow, I thought it was just me... I thought it was weird that I went in to see Dr. Lis for a vision exam to get a new Rx to purchase contact lenses. They charged me 45$ when I thought my copay was supposed to be 0$ because thats what it says on my UHC vision card. When I questioned it the asian lady there tried to give me some weird explanation which I guess she was smart to just talk out of her butt because I was so confused I just gave her my card so I could get out of there. In the end I still had to pay the 45$ for the exam and contact lenses?? Even though my benefits state I am responsible for 0$ copay and my contact lenses are covered in full for dailies up to 4 boxes. They didnt have enough boxes of lenses so they sent me home with 1 and ordered me 3 boxes to be shipped to me...

Id give zero stars if I could. These people are manipulative thieves!! DO NOT GO HERE!! They over-charge by $45.00 compared to Lens Crafters and basically any other eye store and they dont tell you they are doing it!! The women who work here are not even smart enough to understand the difference in order to explain it. Do NOT ever shop at wal-mart, but no matter what, never go to the Vision Center!!! You get better coverage and pay less at any other Vision store in the country!!! Boooooooo Wal-Mart!!!!!!! You Suck!!!!!!!!
