They have the best, lightest shaved ice. Definitely not like the usual shaved ice you get in the summer. Its like powder and so the different flavors are great! Something for everyone. I got a small Thai tea and green tea with strawberries. Not too sweet but hit the spot on a hot day! The other one was Sweet Tooth for my sweet tooth child, although I didnt think it was overly sweet either.

The Mexican candy is my fave, but all the flavors I e tasted are good. I love the texture of the shaved snow. Its so fully and soft and melts in your mouth... so good and a must try. Thank me later.

OMG! I lived in Hawaii and thought Hawn shaved ice was da bomb. However, THIS IS THE BEST super soft shaved ice. They have various concoctions, they looked really good, but I wanted simple shaved ice with a flavor. I got the passion fruit flavor. AMAZINGLY superfine shaved ice, like fresh puffy snow.

One of the best Shaved Ice establishment I’ve been to. The owners are extremely friendly and thoughtful of how you want to customize your order. I typically get the strawberry cheesecake. Reasonable price for the beautiful shave ice and taste. Highly recommended if you’re craving for shave ice.

Fun experience especially for kids! Didnt end up ordering it but the dragons breath looked really cool :) everyone should try it at least once. Oh and if you like garlic their garlic fries are simple yet amazing!

Asked for a large. But putting a small serving in a large container doesnt make it a large. And you need to pay with exact amount or card. I feel double crossed!

Great place for a family treat! Our son is allergic to strawberries and they were very accommodating. They cleaned off the utensils and area where strawberries were to make my sons shaved ice. They even went above and beyond and made his in a separate paper bowl because all the glass plates have had strawberries on them before. Thanks for going above and beyond for my son!

Had a great experience here. The shaved ice was amazing and the owner was there to help us. Very friendly staff. It was a bit hard to find out the hours and info because they just switched ownership and the phone wasnt working yet. I would recommend this place and I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other tasty treats.

The shaved snow was better than I thought it would be since most places like this that are hyped up arent very good. I had Chai shaved snow with condensed milk, chocolate chips, and chocolate Pocky sticks. The chai flavor was pleasantly strong. They were out of the two flavors I wanted to try which were the coconut and taro. I will have to come back to try the other flavors. As for customer service, it was good except for the fact that one of the girls at the counter actually gave me a dirty look when I politely pointed out that I ordered condensed milk as a topping and she forgot to put it on.

After literally singeing my mouth, esophagus and stomach from the hot peppers at the restaurant next door, I need fast relief! Vampire Penguin to the rescue! This place helped me calm my stomach and cool my mouth and throat, and tasted good all at the same time... Thats saying a lot when you can barely taste anything due to hot peppers! The employees at work here are friendly, and the food is generous!

For being shaved ice, its amazing the flavors they put together. I went with my daughter, son in law, and grandson. Must go, if youre in the area. Or even come anyway, if youre not! Its delicious!

While the concept is cute - a penguin turned vampire, with potions on the menu - I dont think there is enough in taste/value to make it a must-visit destination. In the end, were talking about shaved ice. The modern ice shavers make for a much better consistency than the old days, and the variety of flavors is interesting, but it seemed a bit pricey for what you receive. It was pretty good, but for $15 for two I was looking for a bit more. Given the proximity to Leatherbys and Sno Bites, its a hard sell.

When they are open, this place rocks!! Great flavors and not too pricey. Sometimes service is really slow though. However, their business hours are baffling to me. Beautiful Sunday in the 70s and they are only open from 2-6 pm. How can they stay in business?

Loved their shaved Thaiger snow. Not too sweet, but the Oreos and condensed milk made it have touches of sweetness that made it perfect. Havent had any other of their snows, though everyone in the building seemed to eat their whole plates clean. The atmosphere was also very inviting and calm, great for a relaxing stop in a busy day.

It was amazing. We all had different flavors and they were all delicious.

Good portions, and the snow is tasty, but it is pretty pricy. Macaroons were $2.50, and the snow itself was $3 for a small and $5 for a large.Theres a decent variety and I love the presentation. Kids love to go here but we thought it wasnt worth the price.

This is my favorite desert restaurant. I used to go to the V.P on Stockton Blvd, but due to changes in ownership the restaurant does not seem the same. This V.P is amazing the staff is always friendly and I love the decorations.

It was our first time going there, the gentleman at the cashier was super nice and made some great suggestions...we went with the banana split one (forgot the actual name!) And it was delish!! Will be back again soon!

My favorite it the Strawberry Shortcake iced dessert, which can also be upgraded with pieces of real cake. Very refreshing on a hot day.

Service was good, but the tables were not clean. The dessert, though, was 😋 delicious! We had three different flavors, i like them all, but my favorite was the mangoneada--out of this world! Next time i have to try the dulce de leche ( cant wait! 😉)

Was expecting some typical shaved ice with some fancier syrups and toppings, but it was anything but typical. The consistency was unlike anything Ive had before. It was fantastic!

Minimalist and amazing! Its not shaved ice, its like eating a shaved cloud of awesomeness. It makes shaved ice seem like snow with gravel and salt.

Friendly staff. Lots of snow flavors and a variety of toppings. If you cant decide there are plenty of pre-designed options. They also have some pre-made desserts, look a lot like macaroons but I havent tried them yet. A large option is enough to split for two people. Last couple of times I visited it was quiet, not sure if I went during off hours.

We came from bay area to just try vampire penguin so we check on online and it said it is open 2pm to 6pm so we got there at 2.54pm and it was colsed hrs were diffent compared to online and instores
